I am a 25 year old, Caucasian, fair-skinned blonde.I burn unprotected in the sun in 30 minutes during high sunlight times during the afternoon.I have never in my life been able to tan without burning.The back label on this product claims to keep you from tanning or burning, but I was able to get a decently golden tan in the Bahamas, by using this every day according to the instructions.The front label also reads that it has instant bronzer.If I'd seen that before I purchased it, I probably wouldn't have.Turns out, there is nothing bronzing or self-tanning in this product.I applied a skin patch test twice a day for 3 days when I first bought it, just to make sure.(Self tanners always make my skin look orangey.)

I also wore this on my skin while wearing a white bathing suit cover up, and there was no bronze-colored rub-off.The lotion appears shimmery and bronze-ish in the container, but it does not apply to your skin in a way that fulfills any hopes of actual bronzing.I also have fairly oily skin, and this did not make my face break out.I paid $8 at Wal Mart for this, and I'm glad I did.I've recommended this to multiple friends.Another key note is that for the best results, you should follow the instructions on the back label regarding how long before exposure you should apply, and when you should reapply, etc.

My skin is very fare, and it burns easily before it gets any tan. I bought this product for my trip to Hawaii and used it every morning before going to the beach, and then reapplied it as needed and I did not get sunburns! I can never find it in stores in California, but in Hawaii it is sold everywhere. I like the one with the bronzer because it adds beautiful shimmer to the skin. Nothing too shiny, just nice touch of shimmer. The aerosol SPF 30 bronzer also has a cooling effect, but I cannot find it on amazon, unfortunately. Walmart in Hawaii have it, but they are always sold out! I've been using this sunscreen for over 8 years now, and recommend it to anyone who is looking for great sun protection. By the way, it smells great makes you want to reapply it all the time!

This is the best stuff as well as the rest of their line. Has a great smell. Easy spray bottle to apply. Has a tiny bronzer color to it and goes on smooth. Delish!

I am a brass player and I used to march in a drum and bugle corps during the summer months.That means my lips would take a beating everyday from playing in severely hot weather everyday for the entire summer.This product is absolutely the best for daily use.This might seem fanatical but realize that the "daily use" part of this is really important.Products like Carmex and Lip Medex have chemicals in them specifically camphor which I would not want to put on my lips on a daily basis.DCT has some sunscreen protection and then is primarily aloe, cocoa butter (probably the smell the other poster did not like), lanolin, and even has soy and vitamins A and E in it.So, in general, this product is more natural and better for daily use.Also, if you are an instrumentalist looking for something that won't numb your lips like carmex and lip medex does, this is your product.Unfortunately, with shipping it is a little expensive here.You can get it cheaper at Walgreens.

This is the best chapstick ever. I love that it has sunscreen.My lips can be cracked and bleeding when I don't have it, and healed in a couple of days when I use it. I am one of those chapstick addicts and have tried just about every kind.This one is by far my favorite.It is getting harder and harder to find anymore though.I found that Walgreens carries it and Ace Hardware (near the checkout) of all places does too, but not Walmart or any of my local grocery stores.

This is on my Christmas stocking stuffer wish list every year and I think I have at least 4 of these (purse, desk at work, car, home, etc) so that I always have one on hand.

Blistex DCT works well and keeps my lips moisturized, even throughout the winter.Occasionally, I need something a little stronger and so I use Blistex Lip Medex (which I also recommend), but otherwise, this is a daily-use product.It doesn't gloppy or sticky and wears well over lipstick.

My only complaint is really not a _complaint_ but more of a frustration just who did Blistex have in mind when they designed those little jars?I invariably end up putting this on the end of my fingernail instead of my fingertip once the level gets too low in the jar.Sounds petty, I know.Fortunately, I like this product enough to disregard this small inconvenience.:)

This is by far the best at keeping my lips moist. Nothing else compares and I have tried others when this runs out and I can't find it in the store. So glad I found it here and at the sale price (17.69 + 1.99 s/h) it's a great deal. I wish it was available in stick format, as I too find it a bit annoying to have to dip my finger/fingernail into the pot. Minor detail and the pluses far out weigh this one negative.

Australian Gold SPF 8 Sheer Coverage Lotion, 6 Ounce

It is disconcerting to find that Australian Gold Suntan Lotion was not sealed (i.e. shrink wrapped or banded) in any way. I do not know if this is standard for the product or just the unit from this particular vendor I purchased this from. Either way this is not a good practice for a healthcare item since you cannot tell if it has been used or tampered with.

The product itself has a nice subtle odor and the non-greasy feature is very good.

I used this tanning lotion for the first time today, I was almost instantly darker.I have used tingle tanning lotions before from swedish beauty and millineum tans and loved them both, however I was surprised for such a cheap price that this tingle lotion was just as good if not better, you instantly get that tingle feeling!NOT FOR BEGINNERS, if you don't have some type of base tan you will burn.Loved it other than the smell(which is why I rated it at a 4), but its the same as all other tingle lotions.I would recommend buying, I'd rate it higher than other lotions that are much more expensive.

This product is great! It hurts at first but the pain is totally worth it. It gave me the riches tan I have ever had. I love it!!! The smell is great too. I would totally recommend this! Best so far!

I work at a tanning salon, and for the price this lotion was a great buy. I have sensitive skin so I needed to start with a lower tingle lotion, and this one worked great for me I used every last drop. The only thing is it doesn't smell amazing, but it doesn't stink either so that is a plus. I wouldn't recommend this to people who have a high tolerance to tingle lotion, it maybe to weak for you but for beginners this gets an A+ in my book

My wife is very fussy about any cosmetic solution on her skin and would only buy the most expensive brand name sun screen products.[Groan!] So when I told her about No-Ad and the very reasonable price she did not believe that it could possibly be effective. well, I bought this product used it and didn't notice any changes but it moisturized pretty well and I was just going to use it until I was finished and switch because I saw no results within 8 weeks. well, It's been 4 months and I now have major results. I use it every morning and it was well worth it and I will stick with this product.

I no longer have the major forehead wrinkles and smile lines (what-ever you call them)

my face has tightened and looks amazing.

Also it has been great with my sensitive skin and has not caused and irritation.

This moisturizer has a lovely mousse-like texture, goes on smooth, "seemingly' rapidly absorbed into skin. However, about a half hour after first applying, I noticed an odd residue that is difficult to describe. When I touched my skin, I noticed a residue that seemed to rub off as tiny little dried pieces of the moisturizer. I have experienced this once before when using a Murad product with vitamin C. I do not believe this has any Vitamin C so I do not know the cause. The residue left on my skin after applying this does not seem conducive to the application of makeup following moisturizer. I have tried Aveeno skin care products, particularly moisturizers, in the past and have been satisfied. Perhaps this product reacted somehow with some residue left by my facial wash, although I don't believe so, perhaps it was one or more of the sunscreen ingredients. I just can't use this. But I will continue to try other Aveeno products.

I wish I would have seen these reviews before I bought this product it probably would have saved me a WHOLE lot of discomfort and ugly looking, scaly, burning, itching red patches all over my face.I would not describe my skin as overly sensitive, but I have never, ever had a reaction to a skin product like I have with this one.The mousse-like texture feels like a dream and seems to really well-moisturize.My first inclination was WOW!This is great. I started to use this product as it was recommended to me by my Dermatologists four/five months ago.This small tube last very long. It is not bad for the price at all. I paid $49.00 for this product at my dermatologists office. I got a better saving ordering it in Amazon.

Also, with this product you only need a peasize to cover the entire face.It is a great moisturizer for the skin to keep it soft and younger looking.I use it daily especially during the day.

FYI The only thing I would warn anyone who may buy this product is that, if you have a new bottle and it pumps out the product then later on nothing would pump, please do not unscrew the pump. Tap the bottom of the bottle first then you can pump the product. Believe me, I learn the hardway. I remember not seeing any instructions about the bottle itself. I only knew about it from my dermatologists after mentioning to her the trouble I have with the pump on this product and that is when she informed me that all I need to do is tap it at the bottom.

This is a moisturizer that has it all and works very well for my skin.I am 47 and I am fanatical about good skin care.I've been using this for 2 years.YOu don't need to use a lot, so it will last over30 days...probably over 60 or more, depending on how you apply it.It absorbs well, is only slightly greasy when first applied, then that goes away. I liked that it has a retinol product in it and do notice the texture of my skin is much better when I use this product.I ran out for a short time and tried to use up another moisturizer, but really noticed the difference between the two.I also like that it has a 30SPF.The packaging is nice in that you can see how much you have left!!The only thing I don't care for is the way it smells.It's not horrible, but I would prefer no scent or a very light one.This has a chemical'ish scent, but it does dissipate very quickly and it isn't really strong.

My wife and I switched to Vivete products at our dermatologist when the price of SkinCeuticals became to high. Vivete is cheaper and seems to do the job so far, I have no allergic reactions to their products. Like other customers, I feel the pump on this bottle is ridiculously bad. They should just have a cap on the bottle and be done with it, it would enable them to sell it cheaper anyway. It is a good daily face lotion, has SPF 30 sunscreen included, seems to do a good job on fine lines. No scent or color, which I prefer anyway. I was surprised to find on Amazon, saved me the 30 minute drive each way to the dermatologist, and the price was good.

I have had the same problem with the pump not working properly when I tried to use my first bottle. I figured out a way to get it to work and I hope it will help others. I am currently on my fourth pump problem-free bottle. If the pressure is lost and nothing comes out when you pump it, remove the silver cap on the bottom of the bottle. This cap pops off easily. Then, using your finger or some other device (I use my toothbrush handle) push the interior white plastic bottom up towards the pump which pushes the lotion up towards the top. Push it until it seems like it won't go any further. This gets rid of any air pockets in the lotion. The lotion should pump out now. I always store it upside-down so that the lotion stays at the top of the bottle and no air pockets are created. I usually only have to push the bottom up when I first start a new bottle or when it is almost out.Hope this helps!
