I was very happy to find this lipstick which I have used for years and could no longer find in stores.The color was perfect, and there was always the bonus of having the SPF factor.When these 2 lipsticks arrived, they included a message which said that if the expiration date had expired, the SPF would no longer be effective.This was the only downside, but for now, sun exposure in Michigan has not been a problem, and I am enjoying the lipstick as before.

This sunless tanner has a nice scent compared to most,goes on easy,doesn't easily streak,and the can last a really long time. Only complaint is it stays tacky for a while as another reviewer mentioned. Overall, really good self tanner and worth trying.

One of the best I've ever used, and I've used many...the creme lotion is easy to spread and it's very moisturizing, however, it remains "tacky" for a loooong time.This is not a big problem for me because I only ever use self tanner overnight, but if someone wanted to wear it during the day, it might be bothersome.The color was subtle the first night, but more than a gradual tanner.After the second night I had a nice golden glow, and thankfully no streaks.I may try the medium-dark next time as we get closer to summer but the medium is perfect for my light skin tone right now.Oh, and the scent is one of the least offensive of any tanner I've used...not bad at all.

Once I decided to whiten my skin I began researching the process of skin whitening and the best CHEAP products that you can use to do so.The most important thing I discovered is that it is common for skin whitening products to contain Mercury which can cause many serious health problems such as nerve damage and kidney damage.Another harmful substance commonly found in these products is hydroquinone.It is considered to be a carcinogen and its use in over-the-counter products has been banned by the FDA.

Luckily through my internet research I discovered that this product has been tested and does NOT contain any Mercury.This pagecontains a PDF of research & testing done on Mexican skin whitening products. (You can see the charted test results on page 4 of the PDF.)

Perlop claims on their website that their Concha Nacar cream does not contain any hydroquinone.I have chosen to believe this because the product contains various natural skin lightening agents, such as oyster shell, lemon juice, bees wax, honey, seaweed, volcanic clay and lanolin.They seem to be quite proud of their use of all-natural ingredients.Also, the whitening process of this product is rather slow, which is another indication that it does not contain hydroquinone.Hydroquinone is known (and desired) for its fast results.

ANYWAYS, here is my actual review on the product, now that you know it is safe to use on your body.

First of all, this is a product that you will be using over an extended period of time, therefore you will need more than one container.If you use it every single day on your face and neck, one container should last you about 10-14 days.This is the absolute best deal I could find on both Amazon and eBay.The total (including shipping) was $26.24, so each individual unit cost me only $4.38!! I have yet to find a better deal.Shipping time was not ideal; I placed my order on Saturday June 30th and it was not shipped until Friday July 6th.Not hugely important, but still something I think needs improvement. This is actually not a 'face cream' as one might think, it is actually a face mask that is quite viscous and chunky.Using it as a face cream is virtually impossible.You leave it on your skin for 30-60 minutes each day (I recommend the full 60).I do not recommend leaving it on longer than 80 minutes max.I left it on for 2 hours once and the cream had dried up a litte, and there were tiny holes in the mask above each of my pores like they were suffocating and trying to breathe.. it was really weird.. and creepy looking...I also noticed that a lot of my pores were clogged with gunk after I had washed off the mask.Just leave it on for 1 hour, that is plenty of time especially if you use it every day.If you leave it on any longer it will clog your pores.

I recommend using this product along with Likas Papaya Skin Whitening Soap (which I also recommend buying in bulk as you need to use it for a long period of time to get results).This is another *CHEAP* all-natural product that I have found through internet research to not contain harmful substances.I have been using the Likas soap multiple times on my face & neck every day (for 18 days now) along with daily use of the Concha Nacar de Perlop mask (for 11 days now).. I have noticed some results.. it is not dramatic but my skin is whiter.I have been using just the Likas soap on my arms almost every day since July 2nd, I cannot say that I have noticed any lightening.But, I am still on my first bar, this is the very beginning of the process.You just have to be patient and happy with the fact that you are using the safest, cheapest products on the market.

I use this moisturizer everyday now. I notice my skin is less oily, and when I use this product it leaves a nice soft smooth feeling to my skin. I would definitely recommend this product to those with oily/combination skin. Also for those who are worried that this product will clog pores and cause acne, I have notice in my own skin that it is actually reducing my acne. Maybe it's the oil absorbing parts to this lotion, but I think as long as you use a facial cleanser and a toner this will complement your skin regime well.

This lotion does a decent job of moisturizing, but it doesn't absorb very well and no matter how much I try to rub it in there's always a thin pale layer on the surface of my skin -not attractive!My bigger issue with this product, however, is its sickly-sweet odor. I don't normally mind scented lotions, but this stuff just smells terrible. For the price there are definitely more effective, less stinky moisturizers out there.

I have keratin-treated hair, and I purchased this shampoo because it is sulfate-free.The trouble with other sulfate-free shampoos is that there's hardly any lather (if at all), but this one produces a fine, luxurious lather that is very satisfying.However, I noticed right away that it was breaking down the keratin faster than my regular no-lather sulfate-free shampoo.After a few washes, the difference was very noticeable.It doesn't make any sense, because there's nothing in it that would degrade the keratin, but that's what happened... So anyone out there with keratin-treated hair should think twice.Otherwise, I'd highly recommend this as a sulfate-free shampoo.

Last month, decided to take the plunge and get both the non-knock-off shampoo AND the moisturizing conditioner.Holy bejesus is it making an amazing difference.My hair is soft, smells awesome, and shows almost no frizzies.I do notice that I occasionally have to put on a silicone product to smooth it after a blowout, but that's to be expected with hair as long as mine and in an area of the country with seriously fluctuating weather.However, most of the time I can do a blowout and just use a dot of PureOlogy Shine Max 2.5 Oz and I'm good to go.One of the best things I've noticed is how great my scalp feels no itchiness, no tightness, and less breakouts on my forehead under my bangs.Even though this shampoo and conditioner combo are on the pricier side for me (given the product size, especially), I'm hooked.It's really extending the length of my salon glazes, which are not cheap.And I go through less of it than the relatively thinner, cheaper conditioners like Herbal Essences.I also work out almost every night of the week, so this combo is gentle enough to let me wash my hair every night, but also gives me no product build up or greasiness for the times on the weekend when I skip shampooing.Lastly, if you've been to a smoky bar or generally around cigarettes, this is the only shampoo I've ever used that can get that cigarette smoke smell out.

The reason I am switching from the generic brand of this shampoo to the branded product is really the smell.Rite Aid's product just does NOT get that amazing herbal/Rosemary scent quite right, and it is heavenly.For me, that's totally worth the extra few bucks, and if you order from Amazon, that price difference is far smaller.

I bought this because I was looking for a Sulfate Free Shampoo and this had great reviews. However on using this I was shocked ! This seems like a heavy concoction of damaging chemicals (without SLS just so that ignorant people looking for Sulfate Free shampoos rush to buy this like me) with an artificial, medicine like smell and it left my hair extremely frizzy, thin, brittle and almost damaged. This evidently has a high degree of silicones to produce an artificial shine. I tried going back to my other usual products and then coming back to this to give it second, third chances but every time it was the same shocking result. It is inconsequential that this does not have SLS. It was far more damaging to my hair than even cheap shampoos with SLS. The point is don't buy a cosmetic product just because it touts the absence of a major 'undesirable ingredient'. Even if it did not have that one ingredient it can be a bad product if it has other harmful artificial ingredients badly engineered in to the finished product. Just see the ingredient list at the back of this product it has more chemicals (mostly unheard of) than any other shampoo I have seen. So the 'Sulfate Free' label is a highly misleading bait. Always try the product yourself and buy from a retailer where you can get full refund. However, having said that, each individual responds to cosmetics differently and so this just may work for you but this DEFINITELY is NOT a safe, natural and universally beneficial product. If there were negative stars I would have rated this with that.

I was looking for a sulfate free shampoo when I saw this one. I always had a hard time finding one that doesn't dry out my hair. I saw this one and Organix hydrating teatree mint. I end up getting both. I used the Loreal first. With its first use I noticed a complete difference in my hair. (I'm a african american by the way) First off a little goes a long way and I saw that it was thick and covered my hair nicely. Once I rinsed it out my hair was so soft and not striped. I followed up with my staple VO5 conditioner. When my hair dried I could still smell the shampoo which smells awesome. I would definitely recommend this shampoo and as a added bonus to my hair i notice less shedding....alot less.

I saw a small ad for this in one of my health magazines. I have trouble finding good face lotions with an SPF of 30 that serve all my needs; sensitive enough for my skin, thick enough so it doesn't dry out my skin, and not greasy. L'Oreal Paris Go 360 Clean, Anti-Breakout Facial Cleanser, 6-Fluid Ounce

I am one of the few unlucky people who usually have breakouts as a result of facial cleaners (for example: I used proactiv for a little while... as a result I now have scars on my face due to cystic acne which I have NEVER had before), but so far no reaction... My face feels wonderfully clean. The little scruby isn't hard plastic like I was expecting, but more rubbery. It's very comfortable to use and you feel the cleanliness after you rinse. I recommend this product highly and there will probably be a follow up later.

I'm so dang happy for this. I've tried everything from gels to lotions to whatever when it comes to acne. I've tried Proactive did nothing. Went to a dermatologist helped but didn't solve the problem. I've tried things that were used on cancer patients, I've tried cleaners, I've tried pills, nothing ever really worked, so I actually quit washing my face because nothing really ever did anything. Well, fast forward about three years. I'm 18 and I'm so stressed and I really learn the true value of face washing about my face and started to use Dove just as a soap and noticed a difference and I heard good things about the L'Oreal Go 360 Clean so on a whim I bought this with the sensitive skin cleaner and I was so surprised, I didn't break out! I usually breakout on a daily basis and cleaners help but I always have new ones in the morning, but ever since I started using this, that doesn't happen and my skin has cleared up soooooooooooooo much I'm so surprised, but I'm so happy! I really just can't believe how much it's helped my skin. Anyone like me who's tried everything out there: you have to at least try this, I honestly don't think you'll be disappointed.

Pro's of this cleanser: I like this cleanser because it does get rid of my acne. I suffer from cystic acne and no other Salicylic acid product really cleans out my pores like this does. I used olive oil as a skin treatment a little while back and it left my face a swollen, painful, bumpy, red mess. I was having trouble getting the acne to go away until I tried this product. This Loreal line is supposed to get your face realy completely clean but I feel that only the Anti-Breakout does that. The Salicylic acid removes dead skin cells and leaves my skin super super smooth. It is the only cleanser in this line that I've noticed truly leaves my pores completely cleaned out. I don't even need to use pore minimizing or black head removing products because this works so good.

Cons of this cleanser: There really isn't many cons to this cleanser. I just recommend not getting it in your mouth or eyes because it doesn't taste good nor feel good. There is something in it that makes your skin feel tingly that does this. Also I don't recommend using the scrubblet. It DOES NOT. clean your skin. I tried using the scrubblet but when I got out of the shower I noticed that makeup was still on my face and my pores were still clogged so I took some cleanser and put it on my hands and washed my face in a upward motion because your pores are pointed down and this will push the cleanser up into your pores to clean them out. Also when I used my hands the cleanser removed dead skin cells much more effectively. My skin was super clean and smooth. I advise against using a wash cloth or any exfoliating item to clean your skin with this cleanser because as I stated before acne medication exfoliates and removes dead skin. Now if you want something to use that unnecessary little scrubblet for use it to apply lotion. Just put a dab on the scrubblet and rub it over your face till the lotion is absorbed. The scrubblet will massage your skin which will make it healthier. A con to this cleanser is if you use chemical free and organic products then this product is not for you. I would like to switch myself but it is too expensive and chemical free and organic products don't work for my acne.

Finally, my mother and I were at wal-mart looking at face washes and we came across this. I liked the scrublet it comes with. I can really feel it getting into my pores and getting rid of the oils and dirt that builds up in my skin. It's a deep clean without the harshness of a scrub. This stuff smells great. It doesn't smell fruity or flowery, but it smells good. It's not harsh like other acne treatments. It's gentle just like it says and it won't dry out your skin. A month after using this my skin had remarkably improved, and now, after who knows how long of using this stuff my skin is acne free. There is of course that stray blemish around that time of the month, but it's nothing like it used to be.

This product is borderline miraculous for me.I have seborrheic dermatitis on my face (flaking skin, similar to dandruff) and have been looking for a good facial cleanser that works for a very long time.The salicylic acid in this product does wonders for my flaking issues (it is the same active ingredient in anti-flaking shampoos such as T-Sal).I don't have acne problems, so I can't speak to its efficacy there.

On top of the cleanser itself, the scrublet that comes with it is very handy (thanks to the ingenious design that nests in the bottle) and does a great job in helping remove the scaling.Combined with a good moisturizer, this has my skin looking better after a week than any product I have ever used.

If you have flaking issues on your face such as mine, this is an outstanding product at an extremely palatable price.Perhaps there were other products out there that could have done the same job, but this one is a revelation for me.I pray they keep making it.

I've used this product for 20+ years.I have thick lips that the usual Chapstick, Vaseline, etc doesn't work for me as those products dry out too fast and I have to reapply more frequently.I love the flavor & consistency of this product.I usually can only find this item in CVS pharmacies but it's pretty pricey for the size (especially since I buy at least 6 at a time) until I realized that I can order online......love the Internet!I put this on at bedtime and the next morning, the dead skin peels away that I have new lips everyday.I apply again in the morning and then after lunch and the cycle repeats but my lips are always soft.

Avene Very High Protection SPF 50 Emulsion 50ml

It is VERY difficult to find a hi PPD sunscreen (measure of UVA rays = limited to European products at this time as most US sunscreens have low PPDs and SPF only measures UVB rays).I have melasma = hi PPD is a must to keep melasma from getting worse.

I also use mineral makeup that contains zinc oxide and titanium dioxide.One of those 2 (can never remember which one) destabilizes avobenzone one of the most common SS ingredients.Therefore, I"m limited to avobenzone-free SS for my face.Also, since oxybenzone is an endocrine disrupter, I want a SS that is free of that too.

This version that I have is avobenzone and oxybenzone free and I love it keeps my melasma from worsening, provides WONDERFUL protection (approx 28 30 PPD) along w/ the 50 spf.Doubles as my daily moisturizer and it dries to a nice matte finish which is perfect to go under my mineral makeup.

However, Avene has d/c this version and their current product w/ the same name now contains Avobenzone = once my 3 tubes are gone, I will have to find another SS to use.

This product is difficult to find in the USA but readily available in Mexico. This is the best sunscreen out there. Well worth the price.

Goes on smooth and is wonderfully cosmetically elegant.High spf.However, I wore it one day...started out thrilled (made my skin feel smoother like a wonderful primer with a super spf) but by the end of the day I had several large breakouts.If you aren't prone to acne it may be ok...but something in this had a horrible effect on my skin; still dealing with fixing the breakouts...they weren't typical breakouts--very red and angry so it may have been an allergic reaction to the chemical soup that's in it.I never use chem sunscreens but was looking for something for that occasional day when I get a lot of sun exposure but it's got too many potential problem ingredients for anyone with problematic skin and they advertise it as good for acne prone...I'd have given it a higher rating since it could just be my skin but since it's supposed to be good for my skin type...one star.

Lubriderm Daily Moisture Lotion SPF 15 Moisturizer with Sunscreen, 13.5 Ounce

This product is a daily moisturizer with spf 15 sunscreen.

The lotion is slightly thicker consistency compared to the non sunscreen version but rubs in clear without a shiny/oily residue.

The spf 15 works very well and provides daily sun protection that seems to last all day as long as you aren't sweating.

There is no smell like regular sunscreen it is almost identical to the regular lubriderm except for the consistency.

The price on Amazon is identical to the price you would pay in the store so this is a good deal especially if you can get free shipping.

Overall this is the BEST daily moisturizer with sunscreen on the market. Use it everyday so you don't prematurely age your skin and protect yourself from skin cancer.

Skin care is very importantin general and to me as well. So I really appreciate this lotion in particular, for it's ability to protect both from the sun and dry skin. I also love the fact that it has little to no scent and quickly abosrbs into the skin. I only use it for my hands and a little on my forearms because I don't think it would react well if used on the face based on the ingredients (breakout city). I would recommend a facial lotion for that. Also I would use a different lotion for the body because this lotion doesn't have all of the vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that should be used on the rest of the body. Otherwise this is a great hand lotion to lock in moisture overnight or before heading to work.

My daughter shared this product with me on vacation, and I thought it was great!Moisturizer with SPF 15 built into it!PERFECT!Didn't really think about it until it was too late, but it is NOT waterproof.Upon actually reading the back of the product, it clearly says that it washes off with water.With that knowledge and information, I tried to purchase Lubriderm moisturizer with SPF 15 locally... they had several varities, but not that one, so I ordered it on Amazon.It shipped quickly, but came in a ziplock bag packed inside a bubble mailer.Needless to say, the packaging was not sufficient for it to reach me safely. Also, the picture is misleading because it shows TWO bottles of Lubriderm.If you read the packing info, the weight listed is for one, but I ordered it from my phone, so I missed it.

Again, great product, but badly packaged... and you will receive ONE bottle not two like you see in the picture.

Maybelline Moisture Extreme, the product line "Silver Plum" is a part of, is a discontinued product line--but thankfully still available on Amazon.

As with all the lipcolors in the Moisture Extreme product line, "Silver Plum" glides on smoothly (because of the moisturizers in the formula) and is sheer enough that you don't have to have a high level of skill or a lot of time on your hands to get it artfully applied. You can apply it on the fly--when you've got only a few seconds to spare and your lips will instantly look improved. You can apply just one coat for sheer coverage, if you like, or you can apply several coats, say, to better conceal chapped or uneven skin on your lips.(This is to say that it's not so sheer that you can't get coverage from it, if you want coverage. Its consistency is a nice balance between sheer and creamy.Easy, easy, easy!)

And of course the shimmery quality, also, helps diffract light in all directions, further concealing chapped or flaky areas of skin on your lips. Shimmer comes into and goes out of fashion, but it sure makes a lipstick more flattering to your lips, especially if they are dry and/or deeply lined.

The "Silver Plum" color is a browned-down purple.That is, it's not so, "HEY! PURPLE!" that you look as though you have dragged a purple magic marker across your lips.Having just a bit of brown in it, it is closer to the natural color of your lips.But it's purple enough that you will look put-together wearing this lipcolor with a purple blouse/dress.Purple-y lipcolors are tough to find, in my experience!!! This is one of the few.

(Lots of orange-y or peach-y shades are available from multiple manufacturers, including most of the lipcolors billed as "neutrals."But I get tired of orange all the time. I resent how 99% of the "neutrals" are orange-y and the fact there are almost no *purple-y* neutrals on the market. Orangey lipcolors don't look good with predominantly purple attire or with gem-tone cool colors such as emerald greens or brilliant sapphire blues. And high intensity reds--also widely available--are so technical to apply; one little slip and you've a major clean-up operation on your hands.)

Maybelline's "Silver Plum" is what I would call a purple-y neutral--a rare find!!!It will look like your lips, only better--a little more purple-y than your lips would be (for just a hint of magic).:)

Long live (the existing supplies of) Maybelline Moisture Extreme--and especially "Silver Plum."

This is my favorite lipstick for spring and summer.When worn with a brown or nude lipliner it looks even better.Couldn't find it in the drugstores anymore thank godness for amazon.
