The product smells great. Still burnt with it. The first time i did not use anything on my skin and burned very little with the same minutes. THe second time with this lotion I burned on my stomach. The only difference was the lotion.

I admit that it was the Indian/Yoga marketing theme of this line that sold me. I'm really into that stuff but I wish I hadn't bought a whole bottle of this lotion: you might as well apply straight self-tanner and get in the tanning bed because that's what you will smell like when you get out.

California Tan is a decent brand. Not as nice as Designer Skin or Swedish Beauty but better than most. I don't know what they did wrong here but most bronzing tanning lotions do not smell as much like self-tanner as this one does.

I also dislike the consistency: it's very runny.

2013 Designer Skin Naked Ambition Bronzer Tanning Lotion 13.5 oz.

I bought this lotion online first because it was cheaper than in the salons and I have had luck in the past with getting the ACTUAL PRODUCT.However, this WAS NOT THE REAL THING AT ALL.I ordered a second bottle from a good friend who owns a tanning salon and receives his lotion direct from 'Designer Skin'.Upon comparison I found the lotion directly from 'Designer Skin' was white (as most if not all paraben free lotions should be) whereas this lotion was brown.They smelled similar, but were definitely not the same.There was SOME kind of tanning lotion in this bottle because it still worked.Most likely it was a half and half mix of 'Naked Ambition' and some other junk lotion.I just get annoyed when I pay for something specific and I don't get it.For those who don't know, it is often the case when ordering online that the lotion is altered in some way or just fake.Sometimes the seller is bold enough to use a lotion that doesn't tan you at all.My friend with the tanning salon warned me about it, but the online deals are usually really cheap and I wanted this in a hurry so I (like a fool) ordered this one.Order this one if you want.Just don't expect to get the real 'Naked Ambition'.You're only guarantee is buying from a salon with a good reputation.

This lotion is amazing! It gets me nice and dark very quickly! usually tanning lotion don't smell to good, but this lotion smells amazing! I highly recommend it!

This is by far the thickest lotion I've ever used. Its very rich and cream like. Too much and you'll be rubbing for forever to get the product worked into your skin. It also makes it aggervating to get out of the bottle.The smell is subtle but fights that after tan funk really well. The color isn't insane and builds gradually which is nice if you're not looking to have that fake overnight tan look. Its like you've been getting a tan naturally. This is an excellent concealer, in terms of its staying power and the fact that it does not cake or settle into fine lines.However, I don't think it works well on the dark circles under my eyes the area looks too obviously camouflaged.Somehow the color just isn't right, and I am not sure why because it looks fine on other areas of my face.

It does work extremely well to cover up blemishes and reddish spots on the skin.

For under-eye dark circles, I recommend CoverGirl & Olay Simply Ageless Corrector 230, 0.3-Ounce Pan.

I ordered this product and am doing this "product review" based on my Girlfriend's taste and vast experience with this product. To sum it up, She swears by the Bare Minerals/Escentuals brand, enough so, that until "I" started to order this particular product for Her, we would actually plan a day around Her needing make-up (foundation). A day you ask? Yes. We would literally drive 93 miles to the closest make-up vendor of the Bare Minerals/Escentuals line. At a cost of $27.50 for (.3oz/ 9g) of medium tan foundation (SPF 15 sunscreen) plus tax, fuel, time and of course lunch and "since-we're-already-here" shopping, my wallet, my car and myself dreaded these day-outings to prove brand loyalty. I wear this sunscreen to go running out in the LA sun. It works well to keep me from being burnt, even though I'm sweating a ton.

I am in love with this stuff! Only wish I had discovered it before my family's beach vacation this summer!

As a pale white Irish girl who grew up being slathered in thick, greasy sunscreen that would make sand stick to me at the beach and me feel overall pretty miserable, as well as suffering with severe blistering sunburns year after year despite being vigilant with sunscreen when I used to work as a lifeguard, I decided to put this stuff to the test but didn't have high hopes.

I was pleasantly surprised by how great it felt after applying, perfectly dry, no greasy feeling at all! I still wouldn't trust it until it had been put to use though, I spent the next several hours at the pool, swimming, towel drying and laying out. No sunburn! It's a little overpriced for such a small bottle, especially the American Skin Cancer Association recommends using a full ounce of sunscreen for complete coverage if wearing a swim suit, and the bottle only comes with 3 ounces. However, since in the pat I have avoided long beach days and prolonged trips to the pool simple because I hate the feeling of sunscreen, and venturing out without it is essentially suicide (long family history of skin cancer) I do think it is worth it. I would highly recommend it!

I can't speak to the experience for the woman who said her child was sunburned, (that's terrible)but this product works for me. I live in South Florida, so sun protection is important. Doubly so for me, as I love the outdoors but I am fair skinned and sun sensitive. Last week I went on a strenuous 5 mile kayak trip through the Keys on a very bright and windy day. Lots of spray, hanging legs over the side to cool off, etc. It's June in Florida, so sun is hot and strong this time of year.

The day originally started out cloudy and rainy, but I threw my sunscreen in the dry bag anywaysmart move! At the end of the day, I had two small spots where I "missed" applying the Neutrogena Wet Skinand they were cherry red! Obviously, the lotion works, even on the back of my neck which never seems to keep from getting burned. Ditto for my legs and tops of my feet which were completely exposed to the sun in the kayak, and doused with water constantly.

You need two remember two rules for sunscreen:

1. Cover yourself with sunscreen BEFORE you get into the sun. Sitting on the beach for half an hour without protection before you apply is TOO LATE.

2. Reapply often. If you remember to keep reapplying any sunscreen, it should work to the limits of its SPF. This one seems to work even after applying after swimming or sweating.

Good sunscreen isn't cheap, but it sure beats the misery of a summer Florida sunburn. Don't be afraid to use it.

I like the scent too. It's vaguely like the "Fresh Linen" scents that are so popular.

Used this on my 2 year old a couple days ago on vacation in San Diego. We played by the pool for 2 hours, and I reapplied once. His cheeks are swollen and red with his first sunburn. I like this product alright. It's a bit more like makeup than I was expecting the tint was slightly heavier than I wanted. And it's difficult to wash off... which I guess is good for something billed as waterproof, but I find that the sunblock doesn't entirely wash off with my regular facial cleanser (which is a gentle one for sensitive skin).

I thought I would use this daily, but as it turns out I only use it occasionally when I want to have something closer to makeup and I don't mind doing a little scrubbing to get it off.

Just got back from fun in the sun.Used this sunscreen all week and didn't get burnt.Has enough tint to use as make up base.

This is the best sunscreen in the world and all person should use it. It is not greasy at all, your skin will look beautiful and it will protect you against premature aging. Well, I use it every day for about 2 years and I can say my skin is much better now. Therefore, I can use it right next to my eyes and it doesn't burn in case it get in contact with my eyes. So I am not a foundation person -or at least I wasn't. This is the only foundation I'd use! It is a thinner consistency so it won't lead to gross cake face.

Admittedly I would more recommend this to people who are trying to even out their skin tone or camouflage fine lines or minor skin imperfections. It doesn't hide blemishes very well (get a good concealer for that.)

I liked that though. It covers little bumps but it also doesn't cover my freckles and beauty marks.

However! The reason I gave this 5 stars is because it will bring a glow to your skin without making it shiny. I love it and I would recommend it to anyone, especially if you're looking for a more natural look. :)

Chap Ice Bees Wax Lip Balm Stick, 24-Count

Because this old man has used lip balms since age 11, I can, at least, claim to be experienced. My use of lip balms serves a singular purpose: to prevent my lips from drying out and cracking (like many whose finger tips around the nails will crack, especially in the winter, if one does not keep the hands well lubricated).

To me there are three types of lip balms by texture: waxy the traditional Chap Stick made by Wyeth; oily or greasy Lypsyl, especially the versions distributed in Canada and Europe made by Lornamead; and those variously in between e.g. Chap-Ice made by Oralabs. To me each has a place: waxy maximum retention; oily best for billing and cooing (youngsters may have to ask their grandparents about that one); and everyday use.

Apart from the texture, a second equally important characteristic is flavoring which yields, of course, flavored an unflavored (essentially) products. One question (or its variants) always on my mind is, "Do I want to use an exquisite Pinot Noir as a chaser for my lip balm?" No! Because I use lip balms round the clock, I tend to avoid flavored products that will contribute to the flavor of food and drink.

A third characteristic of lip balms is whether or not they are medicated; specifically, do they contain camphor, menthol, phenol, (e.g., Blistex, Carmex.) or, in the case of sunscreens, octyl methoxycinnamate (perhaps the most widely used sunscreen ingredient today, replacing PABA).I do not care about this characteristic one way or another except as it contributes to texture and flavoring as noted above.

I tried Chap-Ice because of its cost: at $0.64 per 0.15 oz tube it is the least expensive I have found. If "1" is greasy or oily and "10" is waxy, I would classify Chap-Ice at about a "6." The Beeswax Lip Balm variety that I purchased (about which this review refers) contains: Sunflower Oil, Beeswax, Coconut Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Castor Oil, "N&A Flavors," and Corn Oil. It also contains butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) which is a fat preservative. When smelled or first applied, there is an aroma a flavor that dissipates very quickly; it also imparts a slight warm sensation.

In a word, I like Chap-Ice. It has enough body (no so greasy) so that it lasts a reasonable length of time for me; the aroma/flavoring and sensation of warmth dissipate quickly so as not to contaminate food or drink, or otherwise be on my mind; and, at $0.64 a tube, it is an exceptional buy (after it arrived and I tried it, I went back to Amazon and purchased their remaining stock; no fear, however, they immediately posted that they would have a new supply in 3 days).

Nonetheless mindful that one person's food is another's poison, I think lip balm users will find Chap-Ice a most satisfactory, everyday lip balm. Given that it is not entirely waxy, I suspect that it would serve nicely for protracted billing and cooing; sadlly, I have no one my immediate circle with whom to test my theory.

I got my first AG lip balm when I ordered a tanning bed.I have used a lot of lip balms and finally determined, there was not a good one, until AG.It is the best.It does not dry your lips like most lip balms with sunscreen and it does not leave your lips waxy or oily, nor does it ever irritate your lips.Your lips only feel moist and it helps the appearance.I put it on before my lip stick, and sometimes I don't even want to wear anything but the AG lip balm.

If there is a better lip balm, I have not found it.

Well I bought this puppy a few days ago thinking it was good based on all the product reviews. (Sigh) This is just same ole same ole. White cast, waxy, leaves flakes, and leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

I'm really disappointed. I guess I'll just put sunscreen on my lips from now on.
