This lip balm doesn't hold up well in heat, which is odd since it is intended to provide coverage in the heat.It melts as you put it on and gets gooey.Since it is a zinc-based product, it leaves your lips white which has to be expected.I try to smooth it and reduce the white-ness, which I hope isn't ruining its ability to protect my lips from the sun.

It is great that this product protects your lips from sun damage but I wish my lips didn't have to look whitish.

I like most Purple Prairie Botanical products, but this one isn't one that I'd buy again.It applies easily, but it is very dense.It leaves lips obviously white.Unlike their sunscreen and sunsticks it doesn't soak in or fade.I'd expect it to look a little obvious, but this is a little ridiculous.

My son and toddler have been wearing it this summer.My son seems to think it is funny (as long as he's staying at home) and my 2 year old doesn't mind having white lips as she plays in the sprinkler and pool.However, if it wasn't for the fact that it cost so much I probably would have tossed it.I found SPF 15 Sunscreen Lip Balm .15 oz Balm to be a superior product.

Neutrogena Age Shield Face Sunblock Spf 70 - 3 oz.

This sunblock states on its packaging that it contains helioplex, which can cause allergic reactions in some people. Fortunately, this did not happen to me. Just to be sure, though, I applied it to my arms first for a few days before I ventured to put it on my face.

The sunblock is not sticky but it made my face look oily long after the application. It definitely did not encourage me to apply a whole teaspoonful of it -the recommended effective dose of sunblock by dermatologists -on my face. Maybe if your skin is on the dry side, or if you're not going to apply make-up after sunblock, or if you're going for a swim, or just staying at home, then this would be ok.

How do I know that this sunblock could be better? Because Neutrogena has actually made a newer and better version of it! The new version is SPF 90, and claims to be not sticky, not thick and not oily. So my recommendation is: buy the new version.

Within hours of using this product my entire face was covered with a rash tiny little white bumps. It is itchy, dry & terribly painful. My birthday is this weekend &while treating myself at the cosmetics store, a representative told me how I had great skin & asked what I use. When I told her dove bar soap & a generic brand moisterizer with spf 15, she pushed new products on me including this one. In my early 30s , so I figured a good sunblock would't hurt & now I totally regret it.

I haven't used any new product except this one & my normally smooth skin is rough, inflamed, itchy & I look like freddy kruger in the face. I am so freaked out & in pain right now, I think I will be taking all the products back. Too scared to try anything else & there will be no birthday pictures.

I decided as I neared 40 to be extra vigilent in taking care of my skin. Even though my foundation has a SPF 15, I was told it was wise to put sunscreen every day under my make-up by my doctor. I bought this product and noticed it has a slight smell to it, but figured if it did its job it was worth it. Within a day of using this product I noticed some red blotches on my skin and some dry spots on my face. It took me a few days of using this product to realize it was causing my skin to dry, flake, and break out into splotches. It was the only thing different I had been using and it started the day after I first applied it. Reading some of the other reviews, maybe I am having a reaction to the helioplex. I haven't used it for a couple of days and I am still dealing with sever dry skin and blotching, despite using my regular face cream each day and night. If you use this product I recommend testing a small amount on your arm first to see what your reaction will be.

Shimmering Skin Perfector SPF 25+

I was so excited to start using this product after hearing Lisa Eldridge repeatedly gushing over it. I do believe it's a good product, definitely high quality, but it's not for someone with iffy skin texture (obviously, and with most shimmering face makeup). I had a few existing tiny bumps that would catch in the light after applying it, but that's not the product's fault! It's also very natural looking, especially compared to other "skin illuminating" products on the market. Now I've just got to work on my skin!

I just recieved it couple days ago and I'm in love with it.It's the best highlighter for my skin and it's not too shimmery it gives you that healthy glow and it stay on all day long.The only thing is that it's pretty pricey but definitely worth it.The good thing is that you don't need to use the full pump whenever you pump it out, I just use half of that and it's just enough and I'm sure it'll last me for a good while.

L'Oreal Visible Lift Under Eye Line-Minimizing & Tone-Enhancing Concealer .05 fl oz (1.5 ml)

I've used this concealer for over 2 years and it is one the best ever. I have severe dark circle and dry 40+ skin, so I have to have superior coverage with anti-aging moisturizers/treatments. This concealer covers better than most and is the only one that actually does seem to make the skin under my eyes look better. All other concealers are either drying or just settle in the lines and make me look older or they just don't cover the circles. The only negatives I have to say about it is that the color that matches my skin tone best (193 Light/med) is a little too neutral, I wish it were a little rosier/pinker -AND the amount you get in this little tube is very small and if you use it every day (like me) you will go through it very quickly.

Alsothe reason I ordered it off amazon is that all the drugstores and Ulta stopped selling it and I guess Loreal is making changes to the Visible lift line and have not put out the newest "improved" version yet. My experience has been that when a company makes changes to a product I love and state that it is now "new and improved" it suddenly sucks, and I usually have to find a new product. So I hope I am just being cynical and it turns out to at least be as good as it always has been, we will see...in the meantime I hope to continue finding it on Amazon!

This concealer works as well on my thirteen year old daughter as it does on my dry, older skin (45+). I like it almost as well as YSL's Touche Eclat and it's a fraction of the cost. Goes on sheer so you can layer as necessary. Does not cake or rub off unless you are trying to do so. Unfortunately L'Oreal seem to be reformulating it (hope they don't screw up a good thing) so it's currently almost impossible to find on the shelf. Amazon has, it, thank goodness. Buy while you can.

This concealer really covers. The fluid is lightweight and easy to spread. Usually those kinds do not cover well but this one does. I am light with not good skin.I have tried many others, drugstore and dept store brands, and this one works just as well or better than the expensive ones. I'm a huge fan of Purple Prarie Botanicals and I commend them for creating a relatively affordable sun protection product that has safe ingredients (and a great Environmental Working Group rating). With that being said, the lotion is just too thick, lacks absorbency, and leaves skin looking ghostly white. Perhaps worst of all is its woody smell that is hard to wash off. I'd only recommend this product to customers who will be applying the product in small amounts.

I LOVE Zia products.This moisture screen with spf is amazing and it never feels like anything is on your face, which is something i can't stand at all.No scent either, so you don't smell like something gross.

I'm not in love with the new packaging choice though.The pump, regardless of brand, always leaves lotion you cannot get to in the bottom.I try in vain, but there always remains some of the waste.I liked the canister better, as I could dose with my finger and I got every last drop out.

I used to use Oil of Olay's daily moisturizer with sunblock and liked it, but wasn't too happy about the strong smell. I researched earth-friendly/body-friendly (aka less toxins) skin care products and Zia was near the top. I use this everyday without problem, love it. It's not oily, doesn't smell at all...it does exactly what I want...moisturize and protect. Only down side is the packaging: you can't get the last little bits in the bottom of the bottle because it's glass with a pump. However, I highly recommend it!

When I touched the product, I was worried that it might be too heavy and it will just sit on my face (like other heavy moisturizer cream). But to be my surprise, it just gets absorbed into my skin right away! So it didn't leave me with heavy oily residue, but it completely got absorbed! Alba Botanica Hawaiian Natural Sunblock with Green Tea, SPF 45 4 Fl Oz

This sunscreen is great.I have sensitive skin and need to wear sunscreen daily because of my acne regimen.I use Alba Hawaiian SPF 30+ on my face every day underneath makeup, and I absolutely love it.It has a light, non-greasy, almost whipped texture, which absorbs quickly and doesn't leave any residue.It has never irritated my skin, clogged my pores, or made me break out.The scent is a mild green tea/floral fragrance; it doesn't smell at all like typical sunscreen.Additionally, I love its high SPF rating (30), when so many facial sunscreens only give you SPF 15 or 20.Best of all, Alba doesn't test on animals, and this product contains no animal ingredients.

A few months ago, my tube of Alba Hawaiian ran out.Wanting to see what else was out there, I tried another natural sunscreen (Aubrey Organics Natural Sun SPF 25) just for kicks, to see if I liked it better.Ugh, I hated it!It smelled bad, came out of the tube separated as oil and goop, and -worst of all -left a chalky residue on my skin (fine for beach-going, but not on my face underneath makeup).I ordered another tube of Alba Hawaiian that very day and have never looked back.

Highly recommended for those who want a sunscreen that is literally perfect!

I have used the safe Alba Botanica Kids sunblock 30 on and off for a year now and am happy that it has no chemicals (or toxic ones) and rated a good 2 on the EWG database. So I foolishly bought this brand without checking the database or ingredients assuming it was the same but with more protection. Now that I have it, I noticed that it also has 10% Homosalate and Octocrylene, and now checked the database to discover the alarming 6 rating. Damn!! But I do love the smell, protection, and the lack of parabens. I am terrified of parabens, so I will keep using this until I run out but stick with Alba Bontanica Kids afterwards.

I have been using sunscreen religiously for the past 12 years 365 days of the year and of course previously used all the chemical sunscreens before I/we knew about the nasty chemicals. I have lots of hormonal issues and a fibroid which makes me wonder if some of my products have contributed. So I will keep my trial and error with products and make sure that I do not buy any more hormonal disrupters, xenoestrogens, and cancer aids such as parabens. Alba Bonanica seems to be the going the right direction with some of their products, but this one could improve.

I really can't understand the reviews downing this product. I use this product everyday under lots of makeup. I spent lots of time outdoor gardening and my skin is especially sensitive to the sun due to being on the highest dose of Retin-A and "me Irish blood". I find this product to be lightweight, non-sticky, and to work pretty good as a moisturizer for your body and face. I live in sunny California and I find this product does an excellent job of preventing me from burning. I come from the skin care industry, so I am comparing the consistency of this product to suncreens from Sheisiedo, Laura Mercier, and Chanel. I personally like this sunscreen better than my Shesiedo SPF 60++ face and body sunscreen, due to its fine consistency and its much lower price. I also love that this sunscreen does not have any chemical like parabens, and is very natural. My sensitive breakout prone skin is thankful. For the people who have problems with this product coming off, try putting is on freshly cleaned skin, and not adding more moisturizer, unless your skin is really dry.

I purchased this from Whole Foods (for less $) and I love it! I have tried so many sunscreens and find this one superior no chemicals, no thick, white pasty residue, no fragrance or smell. Works perfectly under my makeup. Just a tad sticky, however, but again, no white residue. Never seen such a high zinc oxide (18.6%) level. Physical sunscreens (such as this one) are superior to chemical sunscreens, according to derms.
