Radiance Day Lotion - SPF 15

This lotion does have a scent but I think it smells great and is in no way overpowering. It lasts a long time (about 6 months) and does not have any sulfates, parabens, phthalates, or petrochemicals. The SPF 15 is a must and hard to find with natural ingredients in a moisturizer. It is much lighter than the night cream and doesn't leave an oily residue. I would highly recommend this product

I have been using this for about 3 weeks now.I wanted the Ageless Day Lotion but it does not come with SPF so opted for this.I love it, it makes my face feel fresh and clean and I rarely wear makeup now.When I got my hair cut, my hairdresser commented on how even toned my skin looked and was amazed that I didn't have any makeup on.I use the Ageless Night Creme (for about one month now) and am really happy with that too.I don't have laugh lines or wrinkles so can't say if it helped with those or not but overall my skin is feeling better and I do not have the typical dry skin I get in the winter.

Soooo soothing!As with most Burt's Bees products, this is free of sulfates, parabens, pthalates and petrochemicals.You can't really tell from the picture, but it does have royal jelly, like the rest of the Radiance line.Not a strong scent maybe just a hint of honey and floral, but nothing overpowering.The active ingredients for the SPF facotr are titanium dioxide and zinc oxide.It comes in a glass bottle (recyclable) with a pump.Awesome stuff!I use in conjunction with Burt's Bees Burt's Bees Radiance Night Creme, 2 oz cream and I feel like my skin imperfections heal quickly and my overall tone is improved.

I do like Burt's Bees Radiance Day Lotion.It is important to me to wear sunscreen daily, and I'm a fan of Burt's Bees natural products.

However, I was pretty shocked at the perfume-y fragrance of this lotion.I don't wear perfume, so maybe I'm just not accustomed to it, but I didn't expect this from Burt's Bees.In fact, ever since I started using this stuff, I have received compliments on my "perfume"!So, while it doesn't stink, it does have a strong floral fragrance.I wouldn't recommend it to people who are sensitive to strong fragrances.

Aside from that, I have found this lotion to be fairly lightweight--considering it contains sunscreen.I rub the lotion between my hands before I spread it over my neck and face.Initially, I'm left with a dewey finish (which to some people might be considered greasy), but it dries just fine.I should say that I have combination skin, but I tend to be more concerned with my challenges with dry skin.Thus, I don't mind a little dew...especially because this lotion makes my face feel soft and smooth without the burn of some face lotions.

I'm not certain if Burt's Bees Radiance Day Lotion makes me look "radiant," but it goes on fairly light and takes care of any dryness I might have while leaving me with soft skin.Plus, the price is reasonable.I'm just not so sure of the fragrance.

California Baby SPF 30+ SUMMER Blend

I love this sunblock it is a "barrier" sunblock so it does not have potentially harmful chemicals that soak into the skin, which is great for kids. I also like that it has the citronella to protect from bug bites. I don't mind the smell at all and it doesn't seem to bother my two-year old, either. One thing to know is that this sunblock has a thicker consistency than some out there so you do have to rub it in a bit, but overall it goes on pretty easy.

This product does what it says--offers superior sun protection, is waterproof and tear-free, and keeps the bugs off, all using natural ingredients.The only problem?It is SO waterproof that if I put it in my son's hair, it took three shampoos to get the stuff off.It is thick and white and rubs in white, so you will a whitish cast to your skin the whole time you wear it, too.

It seems to work okay with tanning, but I can't seem to get past the nasty smell.I don't like the smell at all, so I mix it with a better smelling lotion and that makes it better.I would recommend this lotion only if smell does not bother you.

I usually love Kiss my Face products but this cream was a bit of a dissappointment.It left an oily sheen on my skin which got worse as the day progressed.I still like the fact that it is not tested on animals but it just didn't live up to what I have come to expect from Kiss my Face.

This lotion is light, absorbs well, and makes my face feel smooth--all good things.It's reasonably priced, deosn't irritate my eyes and contains sunscreen--also very good.But...I was hoping I would get used to the smell, and I just can't.It smells like bug dope--very medicinal--and it doesn't really go away.I probably won't buy this again for this reason.

Very few sunscreen products have the fresh, fruity floral fragrance this product has. It is quite delicious and contains floral water of Lavender, Chamomile and Geranium Oil.

The creamy white lotion absorbs quickly and keeps your skin nourished while you are out in the sun. I applied this all over before going out to sit in the sun and I actually did tan a bit with this product. My skin will normally refuse to tan very much if I use even an SPF 15.

If you love products with essential oils, this one will completely impress. It made me feel so relaxed, like I was tanning in the middle of a lavender field. This is a product you can use daily or use before you go out in the sun to read or garden.

As the other reviewer stated, the picture leads you to think that you will be getting the 4oz bottle, instead you get the dinky 1.5 ounce bottle. This is classic bait and switch.

The site shows both the 4 Oz. and the 1.5 Oz bottles sold by Blue Quill Angler for Amazon. There is only one price for this product and it makes you think that you are getting a bargain at $6.75 for the larger bottle. Low and behold, you only get the smaller bottle. Please remove the picture of the 4 Oz bottle from your website as this is misleading and borders on false advertisement!!

As for the product: I have had problems with other sunscreens that get in my eyes and sting whenever I sweat. I do a lot of fishing and I originally came upon this sunscreen at my local tackle shop. Needless to say, I have no more eye stinging from sunscreen. It does leave a slightly visible white film from the zinc oxide, but I would rather have this than red, burning eyes.

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock, SPF 45, 3 Fluid Ounce (88 ml)

While most sunscreens these days protect against sunburn, did you know that very few of them actually protect against photodamage? Photodamage is the damage that the sun does to your skin symptoms of which are brown spots, wrinkles and such.

Only two sunscreen ingredients protect against the long UVAI rays that cause photodamage; zinc oxide and Parsol 1789. Zinc Oxide protects a broader range of these rays than does Parsol 1789. This sunscreen has Parsol 1789 (Avobenzone). It's good, and certainly offers more photo damage protection than most, but a sunscreen with zinc oxide would be better still. Zinc Oxide is also less irritating, it's even found in some baby care products.Because Parsol 1789 is a chemical rather than a physical sunscreen like Zinc Oxide, some may experience irritation with Neutrogena Dry Touch.

This Neutrogena goes on very smooth and dry and you can't even tell you are wearing suncscreen. This is very nice, although it does have a bit of a scent which I don't like (I would prefer it be non scented, I don't like smelling like soap-Neutrogena, are you listening?). All in all, for the money this is good sunscreen for either your face or your body and it is particularly good for oily skin as it will make your skin seem less oily.

But if you are willing to spend a bit more money, check out a zinc oxide sunscreen such as Skinceuticals Ultimate 30 which offers a bit more protection and is less irritating (zinc oxide is less irritating that Parsol 1789). And most certainly at least get a sunscreen with Parsol 1789 such as this one.

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock is a good product, but its high SPF rating may fool some users into believing they are safe from sun over-exposure.That's because the SPF rating refers only to the product's ability to block UVB rays, and not the much more damaging UVA rays that penetrate beneath the surface of the skin.UVB rays are more generally associated with sunburn, but 80% of the increased cancer risk and wrinkling caused by sun exposure ("photodamage") is actually caused by UVA. This product contains a only one UVA blocker, avobenzone ("Parsol 1789").The best sunscreens will contain more than one UVA blocker.Look for products that also contain ecamsule, zinc oxide, titanium dioxide, or PABA, all of which also block or protect from UVA.Ecamsule is the best of the "chemical" UVA blocks, which are absorbed into the skin and change the way sunlight interacts with skin cells.Ecamsule was approved recently by the FDA, and ecamsule-containing products will hit the US market in fall 2006.Some people are sensitive to PABA, so many sunscreens are advertised as "PABA-free," but if you are not sensitive to PABA it is effective against UVA.Titanium dioxide and zinc oxide are considered "non-chemical" UVA blockers.Instead of being absorbed and interacting with the skin, they sit on top of the skin and reflect the UV rays.

I wasn't going to try this at first because I thought it might be "weak" because the packaging looks really pretty and delicate more like face cream than sunblock.I only tried it because I received a "buy one get one free" coupon and I was pleasently surprised! This is the only sunblock I use now.It isn't greasy, dries quickly, is relatively water/sweat resistant, and really blocks the sun.

I used it when I went kayaking and it saved me from a painful burn.The areas that I didn't apply the sunblock carefully are burnt and peeling.The neat part is you can see my fingermarks on the areas that I carelessly slapped some sunblock on and that proves how well this product can work (if used properly).

This is the 2nd year that I have used the Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock, SPF 45.I have Normal to Oily, sensitive, acne-prone skin. I am fair and can burn easily.

I think this product is well worth the money, it is quickly absorbed into the skin and has a dry feel.It does not make your skin look greasy and has never caused me to break out.I apply it in the morning and it pretty much lasts me a good 8 hours.The time will vary depending on your sun tolerance, though.It is also conveniently sized to toss in your bag and lasts quite awhile.

Because of a family history of skin cancer (non-fatal, fortunately), I must wear sunblock on my face all the time, even just walking outside in NYC.Since I usually apply sunblock just after shaving, the choice of product is very important.

My dermatologist suggested that I might try this Neutrogena sunblock.It has a very high SPF and blocks the UV A and B rays, and seems to dry up entirely without any evidence that it was ever there.

Apparently they have added an ultra-fine silica powder which contains the greasy look and feel.

In any case, I liked it and it seems to work very well. Unscented, which is good for me too.

No matter how tan one is, I find the face always tends to burn if one is out in the sun the entire day.Because this product is a gel and not oil, I find it suitable to use on the face without causing breakouts.While it can be used on the entire body as well, I prefer tanning oils for the body because they better moisturizing properties.

This is the lowest SPF gel I can find anymore and it is not thick enough to feel I am covered. It seems to be working as well as I could expect.

I seldom reveiw products but these wipes were a huge let down. Convenient yes, effective NO. I used them on my three year old this weekend (two wipes on a 3 ft tall person) and she got sunburn on her legs, arms and face. She also cried when I applied to her face becaue the product has a heavy alcohol content and stings your face.

Please please use a more child friendly product and steer away from this for anything other than shoulders and limbs on adults!

there isn't much sunscreen on the wipes. So if you are just at like a sporting event and need to cover your face and arms this is lovely! Very convenient, not sticky and doesn't sweat off like most sunscreens. However if you are going on a vacation where you will be spending a lot of time at the beach this product is kind of a hassle to take out 6 of those wipes to cover your whole body in one sitting.

I bought this product because I was going on vacation and wanted something I could take on the plane without checking a bag. I was cautiously optimistic -and these towelettes did not disappoint! They were easy to use, the product goes on like a dream (no nasty sunscreen feeling on skin), and -most importantly -WORKS. No sunburn!

It can't get over how easy it is to stick a couple of these in my bag so I always have them. I get burned very easily after only a few minutes in the sun, so these are a life-saver.

The review gets 4 stars only because one wipe only just covers arms, upper chest, and neck -it would be nice if they were a little bit bigger and/or had more product in each packet. Also, the light cedar scent was a little unexpected, but not unpleasant.

Ran into this product while on vacation in Cambria, California in a small boutique pharmacy.Asked the mature Sales Clerk what it was and she answered "it is really great skin lotion."We tried a sample application and became immediately convinced.The 4 ounce plastic bottle was pricey, but we got it anyway.As soon as we began to run out....went on the web to try and find more.Amazon had both the 4 and 8 ounce and we got the larger 8 ounce.We suggest trying the 4 ounce first and seeing if you like it as much as we did.You do have to follow the instructions and apply several applications initially for serious dry skin spots, bumps and bruses.

We highly recommend this product.Keep it away from your eyes, but you can apply it everywhere.The shelf life is over 3 years according to the manufacturer.

I've been using this product for a couple of months now, and since then I don't have to use lotion as much. I also use a little on my face to add to my moisterizer during the colder months since my skin dries out more, and I don't break out! As for acne marks, i truly believe this is helping fade my scars. I can still see them, obviously no product can make them disappear completely, but they don't seem to be as prominant as before. This product has a very great consistancy, and the smell of the suncreen isn't strong in the first place, and disappears soon after applying.
