I am the kind of girl who always wears foundation to cover skin imperfections. Tinted sunscreen has always been out of the question due to lack of coverage and greasiness. This stuff is amazing. First, I don't know how it works, but it comes out of the bottle white but actually gives you flesh colored coverage. It's also got a slight shimmer to it which really hides any imperfections. I cannot believe how much coverage comes out of this cream when it's pretty much transparent. I totally disagree with the other 1 star review, it blends in just fine but you have to spend more than 2 seconds rubbing it in. I put this on with a little under eye concealer and powder and it gives me just as much coverage as MAC Studio Fix foundation! I have no idea how this is possible but I'm telling you it's awesome! Also, the main reason I bought it is because Boscia is paraben free and also free of a bunch of other horrible chemicals that you find in most beauty products. Amazing stuff, my only complaint is the price, but it seems that anything that really works costs you a pretty penny. No pun intended!

I'm a bit undecided on this product. This is my first experience with BB cream and I'm not sure what to think. My makeup routine? Moisturizer, some mineral powder here and there and concealer here and there. That's it. I don't like a full face of makeup since I work out a lot, nor do I like the look.

This product has the same problem that a lot of tinted moisturizers have: it can't decide if it's a skincare product or a makeup product, and the "one size fits all" approach to color is never quite right. Although, I have to say it's one of the better combo products I've come across. Even though it's supposed to blend into every skin tone, it's kind of a joke. It's definitely not for the lightest of light skins, nor anything between medium and dark. I guess it falls into that "fairly" light category.

As for application, you need to work fast. It doesn't stay moist for long so you have to do your best to get it blended right away. I'd definitely use your finger since a sponge is going to absorb all of that product. Maybe a brush would be better? And since it is so quick drying, it is also a rather matte product, so not good for dry skin types.

If you like the feeling of your face being protected during the day, of having an spf in your makeup and something that's rather matte, then this is for you (providing that the color works). If you lean your face on your hand it's definitely not going to come off like a liquid makeup would. If you can, I'd definitely get a sample before you buy. And if you're not sure, go back and get another. For the price, it's not worth buying it only to find out it's not for you.

Warning: it contains dimethicone and other silicones, similar to other BB creams and products that "protect." some people really love/hate these ingredients so I thought I'd mention it.

As someone who is always trying to find the next best thing my search is over.Aside from lip gloss or perfume I DO NOT rate cosmetics 5 stars but this product is truly the exception.You have to apply moderately at first to see how much you will need and it truly will adjust to your skin tone.I just apply it right out of the shower and brush on some finishing powder and mascara and am good to go.It's a great do-everything product for those that want a little coverage and an even skin tone.A+++

I wandered into Sephora on a lunch break and a Boscia rep happened to show me this product.I have very dry and sensitive skin and I am very hesitant to use new products for fear of reactions.I gave this product a try and was amazed.It takes a few seconds to blend into the skin, but once it is properly applied, you are left with a hydrated, even, radiant complexion.This product covers up all of my redness and blotchiness without looking heavy.In fact, it looks like I am wearing no make up whatsoever!

I used this morning cream along with their night cream.

problem:

I'm a 65 yo male that has always had a ruddy complexion. I wore a cervical neck collar for about 6 years, plus losing about 100 pounds about 2 years ago. My neck was an over abundance of loose saggy skin.

I used both the day and night creams. I just wiped it on w/o paying much attention to how I did it.

In my late twenties, I tried just about every moisturizer I could find including rarified ingredient boutique lotions but my skin remained dry, hot, itchy, flaky, and I was seeing laugh lines around my eyes.I was about to give up hope until my mother, who likes to shop at dollar stores, came to visit and bought me this at the full $20 price.I have been using Oil of Olay Total Effects ever since.I am hesitant to even try the regenerist because I like this so well.On the occasions I do try other lotions, they never measure up.

My skin thanked me after the first application.After a few days, it looked better, was less red, less chapped.Within a month or two (or less, I don't remember after 7 years) I had no lines near my eyes, my skin feels soft and comfortable unless I abuse it.When I abuse it, this lotion makes it feel better.People consistently guess my age to be 5-8 years younger than I am even though I have grey hair.While they swear it's not because of the immaturity, it's either that or OoO T.E. lotion.

I almost never need more than a tiny amount the size of a pencil eraser to cover my face, neck and hands. (Keep the cap or it dries out.) I use this UV version in the morning and a non-UV version at night.I recommend it to anyone looking for a facial moisturizer that works as good or better than advertised.Absolutely worth the money.

2012 update: Still using this product and still highly recommend it, but sometimes switch it up with the Regenerist (comes in a similar container but squirts out the top) which I can now also recommend.Just had several people my age (near 40 now, when did that happen?), and the lady doing my facial tell me that I have wonderful, young looking skin and again guess that I'm years younger than I am.I have minimal wrinkling and my skin feels good.I don't have a problem using either product near my eyes. I do have some coloration problems after a tanning situationthe Regenerist may be slightly better for coloration issues, but I can't say for sure. I get an even silkier feel to my skin from the Regenerist.Don't forget to moisturize your neck and hands, everyone!

Like any woman, I scrutinize my face on a regular basis and when I began to notice laugh lines and small, long creases in my forehead at just 29 years of age, I freaked a little.Then I began shopping around for a good anti-aging moisturizer.Knowing how much I love Olay moisturizer (I've been using their original beauty fluid since I was 16) and how gentle it's been on my skin, I decided to see what they had to offer and came across the Olay Total Effects 7-In-1 Anti-Aging Moisturizer with SPF 15.Deciding to give it a try, I bought it on May 21st and was eager to add it to my regime the moment it arrived on my doorstep.

This particular moisturizer in Olay's vast line of products is purported to do the following:

1) Minimize the appearance of fine lines

2) Nourish the skin with rich moisturization

3) Enhance and even out skin tone

4) Gently exfoliate

5) Minimize and refine pores

6) Defense against free radicals

7) Subtle "lifting" of the skin for a more youthful appearance

It claims to do all this with sunscreen (to prevent the aging effects of UV damage), vitamins (B3, B5 and E, which all hydrate and improve circulation) and anti-oxidants.

Upon my first application, I noticed that it wasn't as light as the original beauty fluid, that it in fact felt thicker, almost like the consistency of your basic sunscreen (it even smells like one).However, I chose to look past this, as it is a different product with different intended effects.

What I couldn't look past was a light dermatitic rash over almost all of my face just a few days into a once-daily application.I immediately ceased use of this product today after reading the warning label (which specifically said to discontinue use if signs of a rash or irritation appear) and I'm disappointed that I have to surrender the entire bottle to my trash can (it's like throwing away money it's a little painful).

Knowing my personal history and the fact that I have slightly sensitive skin, I speculated whether this rash could possibly be due to the combination of sunscreen agents in the product (4% octisalate, 2% avobenzone, 1% ensulizole, 1% octocrylene, all of which can cause rashes in some people).I have used one other Olay product with sunscreen in it (Olay Complete UV Defense Daily Moisturizer SPF 15) and did not have a reaction so it's hard to pinpoint the cause even when looking at the complete ingredient list of this moisturizer on their website (www.olay.com). Due to this unfortunate adverse side effect, I am unable to say whether or not this moisturizer's anti-aging properties are effective.

I shall let this product review serve as a cautionary tale to people with sensitive skin that the Olay Total Effects line may not be the right choice for them.It certainly wasn't for me.

This is billed as "zinc oxide ointment":actually it is 20% zinc oxide.It works well to treat or prevent diaper rash, but I prefer a higher concentration of this active ingredient--at least 40%.The ingredients were not specified before buying.

The zinc oxide is only 20 percent in this, so it's not very effective for diaper rash.Desitin or store brands at the same percentage (40) is a much better purchase.

This sunscreen is the best natural facial one I've ever used. I tried a different brand that was a bit more economical and paid the price. I have acne prone skin. Since I have used mineral makeup and now mineral sunblock I no longer breakout only on occasion. I finally realized that I have very sensitive skin and break out with cosmetics and creams with lots of chemicals. Since this is made with minerals its much better for my skin apparently. SPF 20 is just enough because I have not sunburned my skin nor have sun damage. I have been using this everyday for about a year. Very happy with this product. The only thing is that it is very emolient as it states on the bottle, leaves my skin a bit greasy after a little while, this is the only reason why it did not get 5 stars because I have oily skin as it is but I guess you can't have it all.

Keep this stuff away from your eyes because it HURTS! A little odd considering it's a facial sunscreen. I'm only using it because my facialist recommended it. You only need a pea-sized drop for your whole face. It comes on VERY white and you need to spend quite a bit of time rubbing it in, but once you do, there's no trace of white on your skin. It's very thick, also. Be sure to keep it away from your eyes because at some point during the day, you're bound to get it in your eyes somehow, someway and it STINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Be careful and maybe try another product first!

Thalgo Bio Protective Sunscreen Cream SPF 50 Plus

I've got relatively sensitive skin on my face.Most sunscreens will cause it to break out.This is one of the only brands that doesn't.Shame they gouge so much for it in comparison to other brands.That and it's pity it's not available in larger sizes.But it works well, and until I find another solution it's the one I'll continue to use for my face (only).

This is the best sunscreen we have ever found for our active Southern California family of 5.We have 3 young children and this is the best sunscreen because it is clear, easy to use, and it is unscented.The spray is easy to use on large parts of the body.We spray it onto our fingers to use on your faces.We have blond children and spray it right into their hair.We order several bottles every year and get nervous when we run low.Sometimes it is hard to find.We keep bottles in the boat, cars & stroller.The children never give us a hard time about using it like they do with lotions.

Greasy bothered my eyes but did protect me from burning price is reasonable but overall experience was poor. Will never buy this brand again
