What a terrible disappointment!I have happily used this product for over a dozen years.I love the smell (coconut, smells like summer!) and the way it went on. Imagine my totally shock and disappointment to find that it has been totally changed. This was not disclosed before purchase there is no way to know that it has been redone.It is now very gloppy and sticky quite thick, hard to rub in.It has a plastic feel. To add insult to injury the smell is different.If you are a long time user be warned! it is not the same product.
I won't switch unless they stop making it or "improve" it.

I love this stuff. I'm fair and high risk for melanoma, so for the last several years I've taken care to moisturize with sunscreen. Before I discovered Devita, I would ditch the sunscreen in the winter, but this cream is so rich and non-greasy, not sticky, not gross at all, that I simply wear it on my face every day, no matter the season or the weather. I also put it on my neck and in the summer, I put it on my arms and shoulders, chest and upper back. I live in California and have very fair skin (blond hair, blue eyes). Most sunblocks I have tried have not worked as promised, even those recommended by my dermatologist (I've tried MD Forte, Solaray, Solbar, and many others from the cheap stuff to the expensive brands). I have found in the past that even when I apply 30-60 SFP sunscreens during the day, I still get some color in my cheeks the issue with year-round sunny climates is that even when you are going about your day, driving and shopping and so forth, you are exposed to damaging sun. In addition, I have an indulgence -I love to bicycle at the beach during the daytime on occasion. Nothing worked until I tried Fallene. It is not a miracle product...I'm sure that if I was in the sun 8 solid hours and applied this product every 2 hours, I would still get a tiny amount of color. However, the WATERPROOF Fallene product works like a charm for the 2-hour bicycle rides seriously, I get NO color, and the regular SPF 68 product works beautifully for all-day year-round protection. It is the first time I have ever been satisfied with a sunscreen. I like that it is thick, because a little goes a long way. I also can prone to break out, and I have had no problems with this product. Very high quality. If you're fair-skinned, this is the only thing that will work. Be sure to shop around on the internet, as you can get good discounts on it.
I recieved samples of the Total Block clear spf 60 and COTZ clear spf 58 from my dermatologist.I love them both!I wear Bare Minerals foundation and normal sunblock leaves my skin with a sticky feel to it which makes my make up cake on.Total block is not greasey or sticky and gives geat coverage.I've noticed my complection to be smoother and haven't been wearing foundation lately.It is the best product to use on the face.I haven't had a problem with the color either.I'm chinese and tan very easily so I'm light in the winter and med in the summerthe clear blends really wellthe tinted one is too light for my skin.I would recommend this product to anyone wanting to prevent sun damage.

i am a Chinese, when i put this onto my face, it's completely fake white, just like put on a mask, it is impossible for me to wear it to office. i think this product is only suitable for white people, since the ingrident of zinc oxide is white, actually i have tried other brand of zinc oxide too, it's the same thing--like white masks. i think oriental people can only use those tinted ones, i just bought the COTZ.SPF 58, (also from Fallene, and today is my first day using it, it looks much natural, so far so good :)
My dermatologist recommended Total Block while I was using bleaching creme to rid my fair skin face of dark spots caused by the sun.Once the spots were gone, I continued to use this product as my foundation b/c of it's incredible coverage yet it's so light.It has SPF 60 and can be color matched to your skin any time of year b/c of the self-tinting packages it comes with. When I was pregnant I used this product to avoid getting dark spots of pregnancy from sun exposure. I adore this product and highly recommend it to anyone who wants SPF and incredible coverage. When I first got this facial cleanser, my first through was that the rubber scrubber, while a nice addition, felt like it would fall apart quickly.To my surprise it didn'tit has been going like a champ.The scrubber is great and really helps you get your face nice and clean.The cleanser smells nice with a hint of apricot, but it isn't overpowering.It is nice and ex foliating without being too harsh on your skin.This is great for an everyday cleaner if you don't have any skin conditions, but from my experience, it really doesn't do much to clear troubled skin.Overall, I do like this, but for my skin, I need something to help clear up my skin too.This cleaner does do everything that L'Oreal says it willclean, reduce appearance of pores, and won't over dryfor that, I have to give it 5 stars!Another thing I have done is use the scrubber with other cleanserswhich works better than using my hands.
I suffer with chronic adult acne.Although I have managed to tame it to a degree, I know I will always be battling it.I have very bad reactions to benzoyl peroxide products so I am always keen on trying salicylic acid based ones.This cleanser has a nice mild scent,doesn't over dry the skin, and has helped keep my break outs under control.My favor thing however is the little pop out scrubbie.genius!!love it love it love it.I want a big one for the whole body!
I wanted to like this. It seemed like a miracle-worker based on all the reviews, but alas...the search for clear skin continues.
Background: I have combination skin not many zits, but tons of small blackheads in various places and very dry skin all over. I've been to the dermatologist and have tried prescriptions, all-natural/organic stuff, and everything in between. The reason I wanted to try this is because a benzoyl peroxide product was breaking me out. Oh, and I'm 19.
Good: I love that this is so inexpensive. Its inexpensive anyway, but when you use it you don't even need that much to cover your entire face. The smell is great too just like apricots (unlike St.Ives)! The scrubs are perfect consistency not too rough or big, but not whimpy or too many either. The face-scrubber thing is not as harsh as you would imagine. It is a very soft rubber. Suds up very nicely. Gentle and like I said a little can go a long way. Cool bottle design.
Bad: Completely ineffective on blackheads. In fact, it may have broken me out a bit (I got two zits, but that may have been my face acclimating itself to the product). It is drying. It made my face flaky! The dry scales don't show up until the next day, but they are there! I imagine it would be really bad if I stopped using my face cream (its the best I've tried super moisturizing without exacerbating my skin issues).
Verdict: All in all, I have to give it a thumbs down, but if you have REALLY oily skin I'd give it a shot. Its only $5!

I don't wear much make up, so this product makes me happy.I applied it to one side of my face and compare. It makes me look more fresh.The texture is light enough and is comfortable.It's very sheer and won't be able to cover visible pores but is enough make the skin tone looks even.Make sure to use make up remover before washing the face cause I notice if I skip make up remover, I have tiny bumps the next day.Apart from the foundation, I haven't noticed the work of cell regeneration yet.I do feel my skin is softer when I wash my face but the look of newer, younger skin... none, or may be it takes time? I'll update once I finished the whole bottle.

I like Stila products and I was excited to try the illuminating tinted moisturizer.I liked that it had a Spf 15 and that it would provide minimal coverage.Although I loved the way my skin felt when I wore it, it made my skin look very greasy.It only got worse as the day went on, even after I applied powder on top in hopes of toning it down.I'm glad that I was able to find out that it wasn't for me by using a deluxe sample than by buying a whole tube.Maybe people with dry skin have better results.

This is great stuff.Similar products include MAC's pearl color base.Another similar product is L'Oreal's Glam Tint in Aura. The discontinued Revlon Skinlights costs around 1/2 as much. Lorac also has one, in a combo concealor which is good for travel.The Skinlights line has been discontinued, which is a shame. I usually bounce around a lot on my cosmetics but since I have been introduced to Stila products, I have stayed true. I use this tint mostly during the day and when I want very minimal, light coverage. It goes on light and sheer and leaves my skin with a beautiful radiance. The moisturizer in it makes my skin soft, and I love that it has a sunscreen in it too. I love Stila Tinted Moisturizer in the summer in place of foundation, so was excited to try this. I bought it in hopes of using it under Bare Minerals make up for a bit of shimmer, plus a little more coverage.The tint does seem more subtle than their regular tinted moisturizer, but nice, just the same.While I intended to use it for evening, I've started using it during the day, too, although I've mixed it with a bit of regular (non-tinted moisturizer).It tones down the shimmer a bit--but still gives you some of the light reflective qualities to make you glow.Save 8% Off

If your like me and tan ALOT, I world recommend this product. I use a tingle and bronzer lotion but use this one every other session. I've gotten those spots before and notice it's when I use just the tingle so I started switching it up and using this one as well. I haven't gotten anymore of those spots. It almost has a pumpkin-y scent to it. The bottle didn't last long and I did not see a difference in my skin. It looked a little darker at first but barely, even after I finished the bottle. This was one of the first tanning lotions I bought. I was really hesitant to buy something with bronzers in it because I'm so fair-skinned & didn't want to turn orange or get bronzers on my clothes.This lotion does almost nothing to darken your skin or maintain your tan. All it does is keep your skin soft & moisturized -don't get me wrong, having soft skin is great, but you can get that with ANY lotion and still gain color.
Wouldn't recommend it.
