Bought these for the kids' lips and faces, figuring with clip-on-a-backpack convenience (and novelty) they would be more likely to apply it on their own. The protection is good, though it's hard to apply enough because it stays greasy--only so much will soak in. But, you don't have greasy hands when you're done.

I would still recommend it, and definitely for lips, because of the convenience and mess-free application.
