BRTC NEW 2012 Gold Caviar Bb Cream SPF 50

I tried this b/c I have mature comboskin that is fair (English) and I have mild rosacea.The creamperformed poorly. It soaked into my skin quickly( hence not spreadingwell) and did not provideenough coverage for me. I cannot imagine using this cream after laser -you would literally be tugging on your skin to spread it.

I wondered if I had been given a substitute product (?) but the tube looks like the ones on theBRTC website. It is fairly expensive considering several other BB creams are very similar and at about half the cost.

To Add and to be fair-I have used this cream for several days now and comparedit to a couple of other BB creams I have orderedit DOES havegood coverage but lacks a lot in moisture.I guess in BB creams this is good coverage. I have been mixing it with another BB cream to increase the moisture content ( there by making it easier to apply).. I am adjusting my rating.

A little goes a long way with this cream. BRTC is one of the best brands of BB creams out there, and has not broken my very sensitive skin out in any way at all. Coverage-wise, I feel that this is better than the Missha Perfect Cover BB cream I used just before this, but that's only my opinion as this can be quite subjective. The consistency of this cream is thick and does appear a little gray-ish when first applied before it oxidizes, which takes about 10 minutes for my skin.

It is made for slightly more mature skin, and can potentially feel too thick for warmer days, that's something I'd like to find out soon. I always wear it with a thin layer of translucent loose powder to 'set' it, if not my face would look too moisturized. But its effects last all day and still looks great after a long work day.

Works for me, so I think it is good stuff.

I love this bb cream and it works well for my 58 year old skin that is dry and sun-damaged.I have always had trouble in the winter keeping my skin moisturized so this has been an answer to a prayer this winter.That said, I do not know how I will like it when the hot, humid days of summer arrive as it is definitely a thicker product.If you do try this be aware when you first squeeze a dab out it will look grayish.Once you rub it on your fingers, press it into your skin and wait a few minutes, it will oxidize some and change from that grayish color.I do love it and will continue to use it!

I liked BRTC NEW 2012 Gold Caviar Bb Cream SPF 50 to highlight, but I wish the color was more of a creamy natural beige color.The color was more of a ashy beige, but easily blended with my foundation.I like the color of the Laneige BB cream which blends better but does not provide the highlight effect.Still have now found my go to BB cream.I think I did like how the Lumene BB cream blends well into the skin.The Skin 79 BB cream works well, but is too light for my skin tone.The Misha BB cream was ok for the price.They say the Estee Lauder BB cream is great as well.
