DERMAdoctor Body Guard Exquisitely Light SPF 30,

DERMAdoctor Body Guard Exquisitely Light SPF 30,I have oily, acne-prone skin and was particularly interested in finding sunscreen with a high spf rating that wouldn't leave me with a heavy, clogging feeling.Previously, I had tried Neutrogena Moisture spf 15, and while the tint was a nice touch, within a couple of hours of putting it on I always had an oil slick for a face.Next on the chopping block: Oil of Olay Complete Moisturizer with spf 15.I liked that it included an oil-absorbing powder and Vitamins E and C, but it tended to leave a sticky residue. But DERMAdoctor's Body Guard schools the other moisturizers! It's absorbed quickly, leaves a flawless, matte finish, and leaves my skin feeling so soft, smooth, and clean. While it comes in a light, whipped form, it feels creamy enough to be a moisturizer and best of all, it won't interfere with any other products or make-up that you'd want to apply over it.It's so easy to forget you're wearing it!Highly recommended, especially when combined with DERMAdoctor's Tease Zone.

I have sensitive skin and often have difficulty trying new products.I had been on the search for a gentle, non-pore clogging, wear under make-up sunscreen for quite a while, until I found Body Guard.I had tried several of the neutrogena products (particularly the ultra-sheer dry-touch, and the healthy defense) and also a "natural" sunscreen by Keys Soap.Sadly the neutrogena products which were supposed to be non-comedogenic left me with twice as manly clogged pores as before and super oily skin. The Keys Soap product did not clog my pores, but felt very heavy on my face, and did not make a good base for my foundation.I tried Body Guard and I absolutely love it.It dries powder fresh, doesn't leave my skin dry, and doesn't add extra oil.The best thing is that doesn't cause me to have any more pimples/cogged pores than I would normally have.I wear the bare minerals foundations and this sunscreen is the perfect base for the powder.

If you have dry skin or really love your moisturizer, this sunscreen is so light that you can still wear it under a regular moisturizer. It should be applied under/before anything else you are putting on.It does have a sunscreen smell (because...duh it contains sunscreens!)which I like, but if you don't the smell only lingers for about 15 minutes after you apply it.It's a great product and I would highly recommend it for anyone who is having difficulty finding a oil-free sunscreen.

I was so hopeful for this product after reading the other reviews. I love the Dermadoctor Ain't Misbehavin' cleanser and anti-acne serum. However, I used this product twice and will be returning it to Sephora. I have very oily skin and acne. After cleansing and application of the acne serum, I applied this product. It did not absorb at all! It balled and flaked up on my skin, making me look like I had wiped cottage cheese on my face. I ended up having to wipe it off with a towel. Also, it had that cheap Coppertone kind of smell, which I can't stand. I thought maybe I didn't wait long enough after application of the acne serum, so the next day I gave it a good 15-20 minutes between application of the acne serum and this product, and the same thing happened. I got no mattification whatsoever, and the same extremely gross cottage-cheese type chunkiness. Maybe it's just something to do with my particular skin, but I was very disappointed, and will be exchanging for the Cosmedicine Medi-Matte 20 SPF lotion which I *know* works.

My wife loves this stuff. It's not inexpensive IMHO. My wife uses lots of different creams and lotions and is very particular about her products.
