Ok, for the past couple of weeks my lips have been miserably chapped. I mean, cracked, bleeding, and beginning to scar. Yesterday, I looked up "Neosporin Lip Treatment" and thought I'd try it so I went to Walgreens and saw this, which I assumed was the same thing. I'm glad I bought this because it worked!

I know raw lips are not recommended but I have to tell you from experience that to get rid of raw chapped lips you have to remove ALL ofthe dead skin off your lips and apply a moisturizer, and thats exactly what I did. I used a warm, damp washcloth to rub the skin off my lips until they got that "burning sensation" and my lips were pink, I then applied this Neosporin Lip Health with a thin layer of vaseline for extra moisture and to seal it in, then went to bed. I wouldnt recommend doing this when you're about to go somewhere because you might have that "greasy look" lol, just do it before bed. I GAURENTEE you will love your lips in the morning. this removed all the chapness and it even healed the cut on my lip OVERNIGHT. and No, my lips don't feel raw; they feel healthy! BUY THIS YOU WON'T BE DISSAPOINTED!!!!!

I really like this lip balm for several reasons:

Moisturizing not just a waxy or slick coating on the lips, this actually feels like it adds moisture.

No scent/No taste some have commented on a taste but I apply a very thin layer and never taste a thing.

Looks healthy and natural not glossy or tinted *unless* you apply a thick layer then it looks weird and whiteish.

Has added SPF for sun protection.

Screw on cap means no chance of product leaks in hot summer weather, no cap falling off in my bag.

Bottom line: if you apply a thin layer which is really all it takes it wears beautifully and keeps the lips looking and feeling healthy.

This morning my lips are perfect.I had the worst chapped lips the other day (I blame it on sub-below zero temps in my part of the world right now).Anyway, I picked this up at Walgreen's because I needed something that was going to provide fast relief.Put it on chapped lips before bed (did not remove dead skin first), when I woke up this morning I had layers of dead skin hanging off my lips, not a good look believe me, but when I rubbed the skin off with a damp facecloth PRESTO soft, lovely lips.I would highly recommend this product to anybody. It does what it says, it's not greasy and it has sunscreen.What more could you ask for? Throwing out all my other lip balms.This is my new go to product.

I used to us Softlips every day, but my lips would always be chapped. I saw this Neosporin Lip Health lip balm on TV and for some reason I thought it would work; it looked so convincing, Neosporin heals cuts so fast, so this lip stuff must work!

And I was right! It says, "noticeably healthier lips in just 3 days" and today is the end of the 3rd day and I can safely say I have no chapped lips, and that my lips are very smooth. My never ending chapped lip streak is gone!

I would definitely recommend this to anyone/ I have already started doing so :]

My review title says it all. This is hands down, far and away the greatest lip balm ever made (and I should know, I could build a school in a third world nation with all my wasted lip balm product loot).

Here's why:

1. It's in a tubeno messy fingers or pots to fiddle with. You may like the pot deal, I don't.

2. You get a lot and need a little. This isn't a Chapstick guessing game as to whether you have enough on or need more. If you applied too much, you will see the transparent shiny whitish outline alerting you to blot.

3. It's somewhat shiny. Good for a female as many times I can sub this in as my topcoat or as a stand alone lip gloss.

4. It has sunscreen, so uh, duh.

5. It has a pleasant taste. No chemicals, no after taste, no pastiness or "melted taffy" feel about it. Nice and light on the lips while relieving all of the itchy, burning tightness

6. And probably best of all...it lasts; a very long time. When I apply at night before bed, it is still on in the morning (I'm a pretty still sleeper though).

All in all, you couldn't beat this product and its price with a stick. Don't hesitate. The worst mistake I made was not buying a lot of them. I panic a little at night when I realize that I left mine in the car or have to walk down the dreaded stairs to grab the only one I have that I left in the powder room.
