1.Solar Rx is $7.92 per ounce while Burnout is only $4.94 per ounce -almost 40% cheaper.Neither product is cheap so it is a big bonus to save some bucks on sunscreen.
2. Burnout smells better.Solar Rx has a mild scent that I don't like that much -somewhat like the smell of clay.Though it is mild I have a sensitive nose and it bothers me a little.Burnout's smell is similar to a fragrant or essential oil that is very subtle but more pleasant.
3.Burnout has a better consistency that is easier to apply.SolarRx gets really tacky and when I dive in the sand I have a really hard time getting the sand off because it sticks strongly to SolarRx.I don't seem to have the problem with Burnout. This product is amazing. After reviewing EWG's sunscreen report I went with Burnout for our 8 day Florida beach vacation. I am as pale as they come with light eyes and freckles, I burn in about ten minutes unprotected. Came home after 8 days of 4+ hours per day July sun and only ONE burn where I forgot to apply it. My sister-in-law used it on her face once and her regular 50 SPF everywhere else three times. She fried like a lobster except for her face. We put it all over her babies (same skin types) and no burns on any of them either! I'm sold! Easy to rub on, no smell, and lasts for hours. Other family members used the spray on type stuff for wet skin and fried also, just as reported by EWG. Totally worth the money!

I have kids who play water polo.We have to apply sunscreen to their faces before they get in the water and they stay in the water for hours at a time without any opportunity to reapply. This has proven to last longer and protect them better than sunscreen sticks. And it does not run into their eyes and it does not make them ghostly white.Read Best Reviews of Burnout Ocean Tested Physical Spf30+ 3.4 OZ Here
For the past several years I have been in a bind -I did not want to put chemical sunscreens on my child, but I did not trust the emerging nano particle zinc and titanium products either. The jury is still out on that one but I prefer larger particle size. This product has larger >100nm particles according to EWG, goes on smoothly, and has protected my child effectively for the past two weeks outdoors all day at camp.I am very smell sensitive and the smell is just fine.My child likes it a lot.We both preferred this formulation to the KIDS version of the same product because of consistency and ease of application of this version. This version also has fewer ingredients than the KIDS version (same active ingredient) which is preferable to me since there is less risk of some random thing triggering a sensitivity. My one regret is that I can't use it personally because of a sorbitol sensitivity (sorbitol is an ingredient in all 3 formulations).Want Burnout Ocean Tested Physical Spf30+ 3.4 OZ Discount?
We ordered this sunscreen based on the EMF ratings and after reading the reviews.I found that it did not protect my family at all.My husband and two children have very fair skin but I have medium. We used it this this past weekend in Vermont, reapplied and all of us got burnt. We found that it went on smoothly and there is no odor.We did like that.Additionally it left no white residue like many of the other chemical free sunscreens. However when the kids came out of the water, they were white in certain places,it clearly ran right off them.I didn't go in the water at all and still burned.I will be going back to Goddess Garden which we have used for the last several years.I apply it once and it lasts all day. This family can travel to tropical places like Mexico, spend all day at the beach and in the water and barely get any sun, much less get burned.I will take the little bit of white cakiness it produces any day as long as I am protected.
