So why did I only give it four stars? It melts in higher heat more quickly than other lip balms I've used. I carried it around with me in Omaha in June (temperature in the low 90s) and it got soft and smush-y quickly. (Others I have used in that type of heat will get softer and melt slightly, but not like this.) I learned to open it carefully so as to avoid getting chunks of lip balm all over my hands. The good news is that it's still not too difficult to apply like that, and once you get back to a cooler locale, it will quickly regain its original shape. Just be forewarned, may not be the best for a boiling hot day at the beach.
Still recommended!
