Although it may be a great sunblock, it does not absorb well in to the skin, leaving a pasty film.Not a pretty sight.
I have a critical reason for using this sunblock, damaged skin from years of harsh sun exposure sailing in Florida and southern California.Sunblocks to me were greasy and sticky, burned my eyes and left my face looking like a shiny mannequin.I would feel it melting off of my face and into my eyes, ouch!
My dermatologist repaired my skin with a warning that I am lucky to have got by with minimal problems but to prevent recurrence use a good sunblock.He gave me samples of Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch.This sunblock goes on smoothly and absorbs into the skin quickly with my moisturizer.I no longer have the eye-burn and sticky stuff rubbing off on my clothes.Better yet, it works.
I've been free of skin problems for over two years and it looks great.Yes, I still sail in intense sunlight.Now I sail in the desert Lake Mead, the Colorado river and occasionally the southern California coast all with a good supply of my Neutrogena sunblock.
I know I shouldn't be happy about that but I didn't apply it very often but it kept me from burning badly and I returned a week ago with a great tan that I am still getting comments/compliments on!
