It is a very good product for protecting from UVA and UVB, and does not contain harmful ingredients that most of the US sunblocks do. For the face, there is a much better product from avene though, it is a tinted compact, which gives the same great protection but only with phisical blocking ingredients (Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide), and it does not show any greasy or white finish.

If they could figure out a way to make this water resistant I would give 5 stars, but sadly you will have to re-apply after some time in the water.This product works wonderfully and lasts for a good amount of uses. It is a pump spray (Not aerosol) so the lotion will actually get on you and your kids, not the other 100 people on the beach! The bottle even comes with instructions on how much to apply to each part of the body. My kids are very fair and this is the only sunblock we have used all summer. Don't try to use less than the recommended amount though there should be a little bit of a white hue it will absorb quickly though. Out of the other forms Avene has in sunblock, this is a touch watery (needs to be to be spray-able)but this bottle lasted the longest out of the other types we tried (the cream and the lotion). It is NOT tear free so don't get it in your kids' eyes!It hurts!

I have purchased this product in the past in France, this is really good for kids and adults.

It does leave a white spot when you spray but you rub it and voila!
