This is my favorite lip balm.It's a little more expensive than your standard chapstick, but still affordable and definitely worth it.I can't always find this in stores, so I bought it here so I was stocked up.

It has an spf, so it's great for everyday use.It DOES cast a white sheen on your lips, but that's because it uses a physical sunblock (titanium dioxide) instead of a chemical sunblock (oxybenzone, etc.).The white does go away soon if you rub your lips together and give it time.I prefer the physical sunblocks because they are less irritating and drying than the chemical ones.Since it has a sunscreen and is non-irritating, this chapstick is ideal for people who are prone to cold sores and wish to prevent them.

The ingredients are as follows:

Active ingredients:Titanium Dioxide (3.99%)

Inactive ingredients:beeswax, coconut oil, sweet almond oil, castor seed oil, flavor, lanolin, passion fruit extract, safflower oil, tocopherol (vitamin E), rosemary leaf extract, soybean oil, canola oil

I love the passion fruit oil sun protecting lip balm,its creamier than the other Burt's Bee flavors,and it lasts longer in my opinion,I have bought other kinds but this one is by far the best.Thank you for my awesome 4 pack!!

I absolutely love Burt's Bees Sun Protecting Lip Balm with Passionfruit.I used to get cold sores all of the time from the Texas, Arizona and Hawaiian sun, but since I found and use this product, that isn't an issue anymore.I've tried several other lip balms by Burt's Bees as well as other companies, but I like this one the best.It is long lasting and really protects my lips from the brutal sun.

This specific type of Burt's Bees is terrible. What goes on my lips is a waxy thick substance that leaves white residue. I ended up getting the Burt's Bees lip balm w/ Vitamin E & Peppermint after buying this, and it is way better.

Although this lip balm is only SPF 8, it is protective enough to deal with San Diego's sunny weather. I wouldn't use it for a day at the beach, but for day to day, this is the product I use. It has enough protection for an average day, it is very long-lasting and extremely moisturizing, and it gives my lips a sheen. It's white, and it does make my lips look a little paler, but I like that.
