Marie Veronique's new product, Everyday Sheer Coverage, is the perfect solution for those of us who thought they'd never wear "foundation" or a skin-toned cream as a daily habit.I used to wear this type of product only when going out at night, but have found myself wanting something to even out my blotchy skin and provide sun protection on a daily basis.However, I did not want that icky makeup look.I have found the solution with Everyday Sheer Coverage.It is very light, not oily, unnoticeable, and it goes on easily.It also goes a long way, as you don't need much of it.I think MVO has perfected the concept with this little bottle.I have been gradually using more and more of their product line and I think my skin is actually improving if that is possible!Great job, MVO!
I was resigned to the loss of money, thinking it was perhaps just my skin, but decided I should contact the company to let them know what I had experienced with their product.I was also hopeful that I may be able to exchange the second bottle (which I had not used at all) for something else.Unfortunately, they refused to let me return or exchange the second bottle because I had not contacted them soon enough (I probably contacted them about 4-6 months after purchase).They stated that the product was designed to be used in conjunction with their facial oil (you are supposed to apply the face oil first and then apply the lotion).I did not recall seeing this mentioned on their Website at the time of purchase, otherwise I would have purchased both!The company sent me a sample of their facial oil to try out along with more samples of the lotion, which I did not need considering I still had a full bottle.I tried the combination of the facial oil and lotion and it was better, however, my skin was very greasy and my make-up ran much more than usual.The lotion would also pool in my eyebrows.And using the oil in the summer is just too much oil for me.
Overall, I was very unhappy with both this product and with the company's service.They have a 30 day return policy, and I realize they were well within their right to refuse my return or exchange.But I attempt to live a healthy lifestyle and am willing to pay a little extra for healthy products.However, I expect those products to work well.And if they do not work well for me, I expect that a company would stand by their products, particularly when they charge quite alot for their products and for shipping.I simply think that it would have been in their best interest, given I am their key demographic, to make a customer happy and exchange just one of the bottles for something else.Just seems like a bad business decision in my eyes.Now I will never order from them again.
As I said, I realize that I should have contacted the company sooner.However, it appears that Marie Veronique's customer service also disappointed another customer (see the other negative review on this site).I would urge anyone who is considering purchasing this product to request a sample before ordering to make sure this product works with their skin.They do have a 30 day return policy, however if you pay for shipping both ways, in the end you will receive little money back.Be wary.

I ordered acne kit from Marie Veronique Organics and i must say that was the BIGGEST WASTE of money in years! ALL of the products were horrible for various reasons.The sheer coverage in question above (and i agree with the reviewer) has horrible smell and NO it does NOT go away for at least 3 hours! even my boyfriend made comments that i smell weird!Moreover, i do not have sensitive skin (which is ideal for experiments), but this sheer coverage made me itch, i felt like i have some itchy mask on and i need to scrub it off.To add to that it sucks out the moisture from you skin and keep in mind i have very oily skin, but even more me it was too much.I also tried their Moisturizing Face Screen and i must report that there is NO signification difference between the two products.What amazed me in addition to all of the abovewas the fact that it sucks out the moisture from your face but if you apply it with you fingers, your hands are super greasy and you have to wash it off really well, almost scrub!Last punch bottles impossible to use! nothing is coming out of those pretty to look at bottles.I had to use q-tips to get all of the products out (all i mean all that came with the acne trial kit).BIG disappointment, it seems to me that this company is nothing but marketing and pretty ingredients written on the box.Also, i wrote to the company that i had a horrible experience with their product and all they had to say that i am wrong really?that was just bad customer service cherry on top of all the bad stuff...I wrote a review on the sheer coverage by this brand, so here i would like to add that my acne trial kit came with the face wash which was impossible to use. I 100per agree with the reviewer here, it's not worth the money. The wash was cake like, that did not foam or lather which is fine, BUT that was not the problem, the problem was that it left the skin oily it felt like i put oil all over my face and it was impossible to wash it off. Moreover, it was for acne, so it had exfoliant, which looked like just pieces of a plant and it only scratched my skin,,, I never write bad reviews, cause some product lines are ok and maybe not for me, i always try to be objective... but with this brand gosh, i just never had such a bad experience on all fronts...
Stay away... i simply do not understand what this company has! and i LOVE skin care, i have tried SOOOO many brands (easily over 100 brands) and this is the 1st time that i express such dissatisfaction...
Not worth the money or time... and btw, the reason gave this brand a chance was cause of the amazon reviews!Now i suspect that back when i bought it amazon reviews were written by brand support group and NOT objective customers.. if you google this company now (that is 1 year later when i bought it, in 2011) you will see other blogs and HONEST reviews!

sorry i copied and pasted review on the "kit" which include face wash, oil for acne, serum for acne, sheer coverage and moisturizing face screen -ALL those products did NOT work. do NOT be fooled by the claim that oil gives u break outs at first and then it all gets better it DOES NOT.i am religious with kits i follow instructions to c the effect of the line this line is WORST i've tried in 10 years.. seriously, please do your homework before buying...i bought it before any reviews were around, first adopter paid the price of wasting my money, ruining my skin and learning that those companies are in business...

As a melanoma survivor and now melasma sufferer, the sun and I obviously don't get along.I wanted a facial sunscreen without having to worry about all the nasty chemicals currently found in beauty products. I don't want to take any chances with other types of cancers, so I went in search and found this product.I found this one and was hesitant because it was tinted. I absolutely love it. It's like a foundation without wearing foundation. I get the sunscreen effect and the tint evens out my skin tone every so slightly. It does not hide the melasma zones but makes them stand out less which I hadn't expected. And this month's cycle did not cause my face to break out, so another unexpected benefit. I'm convinced now.
I strongly recommend this product and will be buying more MV products. They may be pricey, but cancer is more expensive. Trust me, I know.

I don't wear sunscreen (or really any SPF products) nearly as much as I should simply because they make my skin feel sticky and look shiny and/or chalky. I LOVE this product because it gives me good coverage and protection from everyday sun while still giving my skin a clean looking coverage. It is very sheer but still takes away the redness on my cheeks. If my skin is behaving, I just use this instead of foundation!
