I don't know much about the effects of the ingredients in a sunscreen, but speaking for just the use of the lotion itself, I really love this face sunscreen. It goes on so light and it isn't greasy at all. I never feel like I just put sunscreen on my face. This is a great lotion if you are looking for something you can wear daily and will protect your skin
