I purchased Maui Babe on the recommendation of my girlfriend who had such a phenomenal tan I was deeply envious and just had to know how she got it!I immediately ordered it, and could not believe the results I got in such a short period of time! What normally took weeks to get, I got in three days! Now the tables were turned and everyone was asking me how I got such a deep tan. And yes, the product has a slight odor (what suntan lotion doesn't!), and when you apply it, it looks like a brown stain (which does wash off) but if you stick with it, you will be absolutely blown away! Now, I have to admit, I am blessed with olive skin tones and do tan easily (once I get past my initial sunburn of the season!) but others who have tried it are now converts as I am, I won't use anything else!You don't have to put on a lot to get results (actually just enough to cover you, you'll be able to tell where you haven't put it on!)The only time it has ever broken down on me was in the travel bottle after it had sat for a while, or was left out in the sun while I soaked up those glorious rays!
I live in Florida and maybe have one day a week to spend in the sun.I was interested in a product that would help the tanning process.This product is an oily, coffee smelling mess!After a few minutes in the sun, the lotion breaks down to a drippy oil and the "browning" part looks like coffee spilled on me.I obtain a better suntanned color without the lotion.I am very disappointed and would recommend you not waste your time or money.
