I am taking this as a supplement and find this to be a great value. It is far cheaper than the capsules that can be purchased. It has absolutely no flavor or smell so I am able to take a dose directly on the tongue with water on an empty stomach. BHT has been reported to kill lipid coated viruses in the medical journals and some books. I read that many people have been using BHT successfully for several decades against herpes viruses (not what I have) so I thought I might combat a lipid coated virus I am battling. I have not yet gotten back my test results that would show if it is working. When I find out, I will update my review.
