As someone who often has favored tinted moisturizer or sheer foundations as I've put on some mileage, I got quite interested in what BB creams had to offer. I already have one I really like by Too Faced. But I've been staring at some of the mass market options to have something that I felt a touch more casual about. And just to experience something different. I'd been circling around some of the L'Oreal ones since they also own Lancome and the technology seems to overlap, but also staring at a few of the other skin care brand ones. Chanced across this one. Now at 48, I'm usually looking for a radiant finish. Something glowy to keep this illusion of youth going. But my skin at that time had been behaving so youthfully that I had a few small blemishes (rare for me). So I decided I'd try this Aveeno one to help steer my skin clear again and then save it for the summer when skin is less dry and the 25 SPF will offer more incidental protection than the 15 SPF I usually wear.
Thing is, though my skin snapped right back to normalcy, I haven't given this one up.
The finish reminds me more of a light foundation than a tinted moisturizer, but I like it anyway. The tone is balanced as far as warm and cool undertone. It smooths on nicely and doesn't change consistency or tone. It simply looks good. I'm going to stock up, because usually I only see one or two bottles on the shelf when I actually can find this item. Don't tell the brand I'm working for, I'm wearing this though I'm selling something more prestige.Does not clog pores, does not cause breakouts, SPF, evens complexion, covers acne scars... I had hopes for this; I like Aveeno's skin care. But even "fair to light" was too dark for my skin. I'm pretty pale, I'm invariably the lightest shade in any foundation range and sometimes too pale for that, and this just wasn't working for me. In MAC terms I'm about an NW15, maybe lighter, and I think this would work on an NW20 or higher. Also, the formula feels a little greasy, which didn't thrill me.Read Best Reviews of NEW Aveeno Clear Complexion BB Cream Fair To Light Here
This is by far the best western BB cream I've tried so far. Not orange or greasy. However, it still does not hold a candle to my Skin79 BB cream, which remains my holy grail.Want NEW Aveeno Clear Complexion BB Cream Fair To Light Discount?
I had high hopes for this BB. The coverage was pretty comparable to a foundation with two coats and I loved it...until it set and turned my skin orange. I have really fair skin and although I bought the "fair-light" shade (the lightest available), it just didn't work for me. I would say this is more for light skin than fair. I bought the Loreal BB, which matches your skin through the same technology Almay uses and it worked much better for me...and it was $8 cheaper!
