I have sensitive, combination, skin and live in a harsh desert climate. Also being fair complected, I'm seemingly always on the prowl for face care products that work well for me, not irritate my skin, keep break outs at bay, and keep me from being too shiny. I found the Simple products a few months back and for the most part, have been very happy. They work well and the price point is decent. I normally use the gel face wash and the little tub of lotion "Vital Vitamin Day Cream" with SPF 15. Sunscreen is a must here. So I went to purchase another tub of my regular lotion and saw this "oil free" version. I instantly grabbed it without much thought, as it must work better at keeping the shine down! So I used it for a couple of days, it did not break me out, but it dried me out something fierce! My face hurt it was so dry. I went back to my little tub of friendliness, my face began to peel, and after a few days I was back to normal. I know now this product is probably geared directly to those who definitely have oily-very oily skin. Anyone with combination or tendency to dry at all, should steer clear of this one. My adventure with this lotion was enough to make me log in and write it down. Simple products have been great, just read the label and know what it's for. I'm heeding my own advice from now on.

I received this product for free through a BzzAgent campaign. It left me feeling quite greasy and tacky. I would not repurchase or recommend it. One issue I have with this is their philosophy "simple says settle for only our purest possible skin-loving ingredients" (as written on the sunscreen package). I do not consider chemical sunscreens to be "simple" or "skin loving" ingredients. Zinc oxide is a much more pure sunscreen and that is what I will stick with. I might look pale but at least I know it's safer on my skin. If I do choose to wear a chemical sunscreen, there are much better ones out there.

()I have combination skin, and it's sensitive, so finding a moisturizer that works for me can be difficult. But this one seems to work perfectly for me: it moisturizes the dry parts, and the oily parts haven't broken out in pimples. No offensive odor, spreads nicely, and works as a makeup primer, too. Come summer I'll need something else because I'm out in the sun ALL day, but for half the year this is enough protection. Bonus is that it has no animal products!

()This is a SUPER-light, super-sheer moisturizer I would almost say it's more of a moisturizing sunscreen. With an SPF of 15, this is great for hands and arms, but probably not enough protection for neck and face.
No scent, absorbs quickly, non-greasy. Again, this is so light, if you have very dry skin, this may take more than one application to really re-moisturize. Also, considering this is more for body than face this is a small container.

()I've used a moisturizer under my foundation for years.I've always come back to Oil of Olay, but I thought I'd give this a try since I've had luck with a few other Simple products.I really wanted to love this, but I really didn't.It was dry feeling and made my face break out.I'd rather put nothing on my face than use this product with my makeup again. Maybe it was just too light for me, and I prefer something heavier, but I really don't think I could recommend it unless you don't like the feeling of the heavier products. The packaging was nice and it does contain an SPF 15 so I guess those are perks.
