I'm not an avid tanner by any means but go to the tanning bed once every week or two.I've tried several different lotions, but this one is my favorite.I like the smell.I like the initial added tingle and redness.I use it mostly on my face and it will help the tan last a little longer to allow the once every week or two tanning.I'm 41 but often get told I look in my late 20s, early 30s at best and this is the lotion I most consistently use.Recently I purchased the Australian Gold Sinfully Black, but I don't care overmuch for it at all and I completely dislike the smell.In my opinion, the Australian Gold Fast Action or just the Accelerator or even the Bearly Legal have the best smell and work very well.
If you like tingle tanning, this is for you. It just warms you enough to feel as if you're at the beach, but not so much you're fried. And, the formula does produce a nice golden tan, even on those hard spots like lower legs and feet and the forearms. Good stuff. I'd have given it five stars if it didn't sort of wash off after a few days...hmmm....

I am fairly new to indoor tanning, and am only doing it for a few months in order to not burn when I travel to Florida. Tanning salon items are ridiculously expensive, so I came to amazon to find something cheaper. I researched a little and found that many people recommend the brand Australian Gold.I found this Tingle Tanning lotion, read some reviews and figured I'd give it a try. Arrive fairly quickly, and I figured I'd use it right away.
The lotion is a little orangey, but it doesn't have a bronzer in it. It has a nice smell. I think it smells like a dreamsicle.
What I apparently didn't know, is what a tingle lotion does. It says it makes you tingle and feel warm, which it does. This happens because the ingredients inside cause blood circulation and excites your melanin. It makes you red, and blotchy, at least it did for me. Apparently the blood circulation helps increase oxidation which then helps you tan faster. I did not know it would do this and thought I was having an allergic reaction.
The redness will wear off in an hour or two. Supposedly, this type of lotion is highly recommended to turn darker. Hope it works!This lotion has a horrible smell and overwhelms you.I prefer the regular Austrialian Gold that just has a tropical scent
