As someone with oily skin, I have had a lot of issues with tanning lotions/sprays, until this came along.

It's an oil, but is sprays on and dries quickly and with a matte finish, without that sticky, slick layer of grease other spray oils leave behind. It's waterproof and sand proof. Used this in the Caribbean sun for hours. I am fair-skinned but the SPF 4 is just enough to keep me from burning, and just low enough to allow my skin to tan very nicely and evenly. The spray aerator is also perfect in being able to get hard to reach areas like the back and allows even coverage.

I love this version of Coppertone always used the the #4 lotion before. Spray before or after you put on your swimsuit. Only takes seconds to apply, not greasy, and you don't have to rub it in. It certainly does not affect your swimsuit as another reviewer claimed (I would know). Remember if it's windy to apply it while facing the wind.

Same classic Coppertone fragrance. The only drawback is it doesn't last as long as the lotion. But it couldn't be easier to pack in a suitcase or beachbag (sand doesn't adhere to it either.) I recommend this product.

I wish I'd never seen this product on the shelf.I sprayed it (lightly) on about 15 minutes before putting on my swimsuit.As I slid on the suit, it brushed against my skin (DRY, baloney) and left a white area on the top that was huge.I tried immediately to wash it off, but it couldn't be removed and ruined my almost new suit!So if you value your swimwear, I wouldn't even TOUCH another can of this junk.There's no warning on the can about fabric.

I've never had that happen with any other rub-on lotion, gel or oil.I gave it plenty of time to dry, too.There's no phone number on the can, but I'm going to look for one and see if they'll reimburse me for my nearly new swimsuit.AVOID.
