I like the idea of mineral SPF but this missed the mark. The "translucent" is actuall powdery white. I have a very fair complexion and it was still too white for me. They also make it in bronze but that one has some shimmer, and I didn't want that.
It is translucent that is why it looks to be white because then it is translucent on the skin and doesn't mess up your natural skin tone or foundation. But I wonder can a powder really work to protect the skin from sun exposure when everything else instructs us that we need a generous, and I mean generous layer of sunscreen? That is my big question. I bought this for the sole reason of wanting an easy and convenient to use sunscreen protection when I am outdoors and am told I need to reapply sunscreen every two hours!!!!
