L'Oreal Age Perfect Hydrating Makeup, 703 Light Ivory

L'Oreal Age Perfect Liquid Makeup isn't really a liquid but is more of a cream that comes in a jar with a brush for application.

I don't really care for the brush. I couldn't really blend well enough with it and the makeup is slightly thick. I just use my regular makeup sponge. The coverage is not light but it doesn't feel heavy on your face. It has a nice soft feel to it. It doesn't settle into fine lines either but stays in place.

The only other thing that I really notice is that it seems to be a little dark. I got the creamy natural which is normally what I would wear but it is a little dark for me. That's ok though, after a little summer tan, it should match my skin. If you are on the borderline of which color to choose, I recommend going with the lighter shade.

I love how this foundation goes on so smoothly, and doesn't settle in lines, and wrinkles. It isn't heavy at all. It has a light coverage. It just smooths the skin a little, but a little can make a big difference. I would rather have light coverage than a cakey, thick look. I would give it five stars if it had a little more illuminating affect. I know it has light perfecting pigments, in it, but i would like a little more of a dewy look. The product feels great on my skin, and keeps that soft smoothness for hours. Overall, i would say this is a pretty good foundation, and the only one i have been able to use, so far, since i have gotten older. I used my fingers to smooth it on, although it does come with a nice brush. There is quite a bit of foundation in this jar, and it only takes a tiny amount at a time. The color was perfect! I am an older woman, and my skin has lost alot of it's color. This foundation, in Light Ivory, was just perfect. Most foundations are too dark for me. Another thing, i like, it doesn't look pink, or yellow on my skin. It has a natural looking color. When L'Oreal puts a little more illuminator in this, i will give it 5 stars. I love it!

I constantly get compliments on my complexion when I wear this makeup. You can't tell that I am wearing any and that's what I like. It goes on beautifully and I always take a tissue and wipe away any extra after it dries. I don't know what I'm ever going to do if they stop making this!
