Supergoop! SPF 30+ Superpump Everyday Face & Body

After doing some research on the horrible stuff that is found in sunscreens, I went to EWG (Environment Working Group) and checked out the sunscreens I have been using and ones that are recommended.I decided after checking out reviews to try this.It has been wonderful very light, does not "float" in the water (I have used others that the sunscreen rolls up and leaves little floaties in the water), and truly protects.My children are in the sun at least up to 5 or 6 hours a day on average.They love being outdoors and playing so I needed something to protect them.This is definitely worth the money in my opinion.

I've been using Supergoop! for three months on my face and body and I have not encountered allergic or breakout issues.However, I did notice little rectangular flecks scattered across my body after applying the lotion (about 1 mm x 2 mm, clear color, looks like plastic film).I use two different bottles of Supergoop, this one and the travel size, both have the flecks.It's annoying.

Super Goop is right!I read very good reviews of this sunscreen and did plenty of research before buying it for a two week Kauai vacation with my husband.Upon the first application of this sunscreen we were initially impressed by the lack of smell and the smooth application.However, shortly after applying the goop to our entire bodies, we felt very sticky!!!So sticky we were rushing to shower it off after a day at the beach.I had bought another sunscreen with us that I had purchased at Whole Foods which was lighter and less sticky.We used that for the remainder of the trip, but when I was thinking we would run out of the good stuff I would use the goop on my legs only.We left the goop behind in Hawaii upon our return home.

I love that this product makes an effort to use less of the bad ingredients, however, the goop did leak on the rental car (on some of that fake silver/metal) and when I wiped it off, it took the fake metal with it!Maybe all sunscreens would do that I'm not sure.Makes me hate to think of what this is doing to my skin!!

As a side I bought this product at Amazon and the seller shipped the lotion in an ENVELOPE so when I received the bottle it was slightly squished and there was some goop leakage.This is not the kind of thing you want leaking as once you touch the goop it is difficult to remove from your hands.

I already knew I would like the sunscreen, but I have to also say I was extremely pleased with the customer service from Sephora on this order.The pump had come open during shipping and a lot of the sunscreen had leaked in the box.I called customer service and they shipped me a new one free, no questions asked, and provided a free shipping label to return the leaky bottle.Very pleased with the product and service.
