During the summer months, I like something lighter on my face instead of foundation, so I picked this up the other day.If you follow Paula Begoun at all or use her book Don't Go to the Cosmetics Counter Without Me (Don't Go to the Cosmetic Counter Without Me), you'll know that she picks out certain products that are her "Paula's Picks" -ones that perform well.This GlowSheers products is one of her picks, and I really like it.It leaves a nice, fresh feel to the skin, while also imparting a glow.I was worried that the glow would look too shiny on my oily skin, but it just adds a subtle sheen.It blends in smoothly, provides nice coverage, and contains antioxidants.I bought a darker color (Medium to Tan) than I usually wear in foundation since I use self-tanner on my face during the summer, and it blends right in.
Although the GlowSheers contain SPF30, Paula warns in her book that the Bronze Glow color doesn't contain any UVA-protecting ingredients.The rest, however, do.
This is a nice product for summer, and I'm glad I picked it up.
I should have ordered the next darker shade.I'm a redhead, but 63. The ivory to fair is a bit pale. However, it covers very well so I used a slightly darker powder to add extra color. I love how these are not the usual full coverage makeup. A bit of a color but virtually shear. I have large pores so most make up takes extra work to make them less pronounced. This doesn't require that because it's more of a creme then a makeup. This paler shade is better for dead of winter for me. I'll order the next shade up and mix them if necessary.For anyone who wants just atouch of coverage and the sunscreen, I recommend these.

I used it over a week now and my face started to get a allergic reaction. My face stings and get red blotches everyime with use. Even started to break out a bit. I find the tint to be more on the orange side instead of a natural bronze color. Therefore, I'm gonna have to look for somethig else. It was quite a disappointment since I am a fan of neutrogena products.This is a super light weight, sheer, product that I'd put in the tinted moisturizer range. I bought it at the drugstore. Glow sheers isn't very pricey, another boosting factor. Before you try it on, I recommend you do not use a whole lot. It's very sheer and the coverage isn't really buildable, so using too much will just make you look orange and you'll waste the product! The best tatic is to take a small squeeze, rub throughly onto clean hands, and pat it on your face. Don't pat more than two or three layers at most. For a little coverage for pimples or under eye woes use just a touch of concealer. You might want a little setting powder just to stay on the safe side. I did find that this make my pesky pores disapeared. I love the final finish this amazing product gives. Your skin will look so radiant and supple, as long as you use it correctly. I managed to find a shade that was just right also. SPF makes this even better. This product gives a fuss free summer look. I will be repurchasing this. I hope you like it, hopefully my tips helped you find a good way to use it.

I was a little worried when I order this, because I always order the Nuetrogena Skin Enhancertinted moisturizer, which i love!But I got this because I wanted to try something more sheer, and it is absolutely WONDERFUL!
