Peter Thomas Roth Instant Mineral SPF 30

Peter Thomas Roth Instant Mineral SPF 30In the summer I apply this over my regular sunscreen, after waiting about 20 minutes after applying the sunscreen. Since I don't like to wear lquid foundation in the summer, this gives me a bit of coverage and leaves my skin looking smooth. I carry it in my bag to reapply during the day because I never re-apply my liquid sunscreen.I've used it for two years this way and see no reason to switch. It seems to definitely help with the sun spots. Also, be aware that you'd have to apply a ton of this to your face for it to really be an effective sunscreen.I think it's best used over sunscreen.

My sister and I have been using this product for over a year now and we both LOVE it. It really does protect your skin from the sun and I've personally found that it sets my makeup and keeps it on much longer then just regular powder. Remember that this product combined with other sunscreen protection is the key. I will continue to buy this powder and have even tried the SPF 45 which also works great! I'm a HUGE fan!

This powder is so easy to use, and so portable, that it eliminates any and all excuses for going outside without sunscreen. A terrific product. My only criticism is that it is difficult to know when the cylinder is empty; a little 'viewing window' would be useful. Otherwise, I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to protect their skin with a no-grease, no-drying-time, no-shine product.

I enjoy this product and think it works well. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I think the twist on the bottom is a little difficult and the powder can sometimes fall out. Also, I think it uses up powder so quickly and you need another one before you know it. Otherwise I like the product.

I bought this several years ago, excited to try a portable powder sunscreen to touch up my face throughout the day (over a layer of sunscreen at the beginning of the day). I bought the translucent because I have very fair skin. For one, the product was NOT translucent and was too dark for me. It wasn't bad, I just looked like I had a tan, when in fact I cannot tan, so I looked weird. Another thing, I used this over sunscreen as a touch up during an outside all day faire, and I still burned. Was not happy about that at all. And to top it off, the lid of the product would continually fall off while it was in my purse, leaving sunscreen powder to sprinkle about. Suffice it to say, the product itself was ineffective for me, and the packaging was very messy, and the brush shed whenever I used it. Now I use Physician's Formula pressed powder sunscreen SPF 50 and I LOVE it, plus I haven't burned since using it.
