I really like this sunscreenit is not greasy, has a good, natural scent. I have been looking for a sunscreen which doesn't have the characteristic "sunscreen" odor and I have finally found it! The purse size is great for trying the product; if you like it, you can reuse it by filling from the larger size.

Naturally, there are zillions of sunscreens on the market. Many have been ranked for safety and such on other popular websites such as EWG, but these sites don't rank how well they actually perform or feel.
The Kinesys unscented is among the best unscented sunscreens on the market, and it's not alcohol-based!
(Search 'alcohol sunscreen fire' if you want to know why not to use other alcohol-based spray sunscreens.)
Thus, it doesn't sting the eyes or nose when it comes out of the bottle. Because it's not a greasy/oily/cream-type
of sunscreen, it goes on very light, dries in a few dozen seconds, and stays on for hours. I don't feel like an
oily pig. It doesn't sting the eyes, so even after hours gardening, there's no drip or sting. Also, it does mange to protect well for the SPF 30 after a 2-3 hours in the sun wearing a large brim hat (always recommended even with sunscreen). No burn, no redness just protection.
VS. skin binding sunscreens, those types like the liquid Neutrogena in the very small bottle, that are nearly impossible to wash off properly, this sunscreen does wash off clean in the showers. Whether you want this or the skin-binding type depends on
how many hours you'll be out and the activities. Skin-binding types of SPF50 with TiO2 and such can be useful in very severe conditions, but are tough to wash off.
Doesn't have any lingering or noticable smell, IMO. Not irritating or annoying out of the bottle and fresh on the skin, no scent or smell that's noticable or bad after minutes or hours.
Gone through the Bull Frogs (ok, smell), Banana Boats (bad, still get red), Neutrogenas (strong smells), Coppertones (either strong smells for their regular blue bottles or oily/thick for the sensitive skin versions), etc. The Kinesys is the first one I go for during outings 1-3 hours long and the one I pack to go since the bottle is tiny. Pluses include it's not greasy, so face doesn't feel clogged. No breakouts either. For severe conditions, extended water days, I go with those skin-binding SPF 50+ types like many of the Japanese sunscreens out there...but always a pain because I look white and tough to get off. Kinesys is all chemical block based, so you don't look white.Our entire family uses this sunscreen ages 2 and up. It provides excellent protection. This is a very convenient size to have on hand it can be carried on airplanes, fits in your purse/back pack, etc.I got this product after reading about it on GoodGuide. It's environmentally friendly, they don't test on animals, no fragrance...it's perfect!
