I was searching for a good 'drugstore' brand to replace my favorite department store lip balm (by MAC). Blistex Deep Renewal is now my new favorite! Feels silky and smooth, not waxy. Heals severely chapped lips (with regular use) and smells yummy (very slight citrus scent).

In the winter, my lips get this horrible mega-chapping, where they'll crack and peel and just be generally gross. My usual solution is to glob on tons of regular chapstick and try not to pick/lick at them (eww), but I saw this and decided to grab it. It feels weird to review a chapstick, but I have to tell you, this stuff deserves a review. I started it yesterday, and at first it seemed like any other chapstick. My lips felt nice, but they were still rough underneath, and I had to keep reapplying. Today, however (24h later), my lips are totallysmooth and glossy, even without the chapstick! I didn't even realize it until I went to put some on and noticed how smooth it applied. So I checked my lips and realized that they look completely healthy, moisturized, and smooth. I will definitely be buying this from now on.

This is simply the best lip balm I have ever tried. I like my lip balms to go on smoothly, smell great, and heal my lips. This lip balm does all of that. It has SPF which is great! With this balm, I don't need to wear any lip gloss or lipstick because it gives a slight shine which makes my lips look healthy and brings out my natural lip color. The scent is absolutely amazing. It is a light lemony scent and doesn't taste like chemicals when I lick my lips. It has average wear, but that may be because I like licking the lemony flavor off my lips! I went through the tube fairly quickly because it became my number one lip product. It goes perfect with business wear, casual night out, and even bedtime. With regular use of this product, I noticed my lips feel softer and look healthier. I will definitely purchase this product again.
