Privet Bloom's notes sound lovely, but it has an incredible biting sharpness I can't identify. It's neither galbanum nor citrus, and it has a very synthetic feeling to it. It has excellent longevity on me, being still noticeable on my skin 16 hours later! In this case, the longevity is a minus, alas. I've read some good reviews of it, so would suggest trying before buying a bottle so you can know whether it's good on you.I'm on my 3rd bottle of this perfume. I like it so much that I keep it for special occasions only.
To me it smells earthy and flowery at the same time. It's not very sweet which I prefer. It gives a dose of romancecombined with fall walks.
Perfumes are so personal. I never buy a perfume unless I've somehow sampled it. I was lucky to get a sample of this one through a one of the websites.
