Neutrogena Healthy Skin Primer SPF 15, 1 Ounce

I was out of town and totally forgot my Sephora Face Primer so I had to run to the closest store to find a primer!! Yes, Super Target! I went with this primer because it was NOT the cheapest one and NOT the most expensive ... wow! My new best friend! I love love love this product! This is a review based on my "OWN" experience only as I know everyone else's skin is different. I am asian, have light to light medium skin tone and I have normal to dry skin dependant on the time of the year. Right now with the Summer months in July, I would say it is normal because it MAY get a little oily in some parts like my forehead especially on the humid super hot days. Anywho, the firs thing I love about this product is it is a primer/ moisterizer/ sunscreen SPF 15 all in one product! That totally saves me time from putting on sunscreen like I did before and THEN putting on the primer! So that is already a plus! After using this for almost two weeks now, I have had NO breakouts at all which is HUGE! I find that some high end primers including my Sephora face primer (matte & the sheer) BOTH caused me breakouts probably because they blocked mypores. As for this Neutrogena one, NOPE! Not at all! You can tell there is a little sunscreen in there because of the smell of the product but it feels thick enough and yet smooth enough for my skin! I love the texture! Not overly thick at all and just perfect when I put my Bareminerals right over it! I have healthy nice pretty skin where I dont really need to wear a lot of make up at all. But of course, I want the protection and the natural beauty look. But overall!! ... this has won me over as a loyal customer! I love it! I am not going back to any expensive primers!!! I hope that if you are looking at my review and consider it and purchase it, that it works as well for you as it does for me!

I had really high hopes from this primer based on the overwhelming positive reiveiws I've read on this and other websites.Howevever I was not satisfied once I tried it.As soon as I applied it my face was shiny and greasy looking, although it did feel smooth, but I knew it was not a good sign.My makeup went on okay, but my face started to feel oily after a few hours of wear.It also seemed to not hold my makeup on as well.I have oily skin so I need a primer that can mattify my face and keep it that way.This primer did not do it for me.Perhaps it will work better on people with normal skin.It was also a bit more pricey than some of the other drugstore primers, so for that I was also expecting it to do better.

Bottom line: I would not reccommend this to people with oily/combination skin and I will not repurchase.

I love the Neutrogena brand but this primer is awful! I have combo/oily skin in the summer and combo/dry the rest of the year. I thought this would help my foundation stay put, so I wouldnt sweat it all off. NO GO here! I didnt even make it to lunch before it started to melt off my face, AND I WORK INSIDE! You can bet I'll be returning this!

I am a least make up types..and this works best...just the primer and some lip gloss and I am good to go go...!
