This is the only sunscreen I was able to find that was solely titanium dioxide based and did not contain oxybenzone.Overall I like it a lot.Before I used this, I expected that it might look starkly white on my skin.Actually, it was tinted beige.It matched my skin pretty well (admittedly this might have been because of my very light skin I could see how this sunscreen might look strange on someone with a darker skin tone).
I use this product while doing a lot of outdoor activities: hiking, kayaking, trail running, etc.It always protects me from getting sunburned.It does not cause me skin irritation or clog up my pores like other sunscreens I've used in the past.It works very well, as long as I remember to reapply it frequently.
This last feature is why I rated the product with 4 stars instead of 5.
I need to reapply it every 30 minutes or so.It sweats off and washes off easily.Other than this one feature, it has my full endorsement.

Titanium dioxide is white, and comprises about 9% of this product.Inevitably, it will leave a white cast on your skin.This can be minimized if you apply small amounts at a time and blend quickly.I find it easiest to apply directly after a shower.It is not greasy or shiny at all.In fact, it dries matte.Despite the whitish tone, if applied carefully, this product looks as if you aren't wearing sunscreen.
This is not a sunscreen for the beach or athletic activities.Because it's water-based, if you perspire or get wet, it comes right off; you'll spend all day re-applying and not enjoying the surf or sports.But for everyday use, it's great.I use water-resistant sunscreens for the beach, and this for daily use.It's very easy to wipe off, and you can re-apply it.

I am not a fan of this sunscreen. As you rub it into your skin everything seems to be going well and just at the last moment it thickens up and starts to flake off. It leaves my skin looking ashen and when applied to the back of my neck looks like I have dandruff. Not a quality product.
