Our dermatologist told us about this product over ten years ago. After a year of faithful use, he said he could hardly believe his eyes for my skin was thicker. (This sounds bad but it's GOOD because it means your skin is building collagen again because it is not damaged by UVA rays. Old people have thin skin because they are no longer making collagen.) Once when I couldn't get this brand I bought something else with the same ingredients. He said, they are NOT the same. Ocean Potion, he said, is formulated differently. Use it rain or shine, even if you're staying indoors (UVA can come through glass) and I promise you will see a big difference. People sometimes stop me and ask how I have such beautiful skin.... I'm actually 73 but they say I look 60. It's due to Ocean Potion plus careful eating. No wrinkles. No brown spots.

There are many sunscreens and even some face lotion with SPF that have left my skin on the oily side. So, usually my rules is not to use any sunscreen that is made for wiping on the skin--for the face, unless it was a face lotion with SPF protection. But for this product, after the first applying a light coat about the size of maybe a dime, I didn't notice any oily or greasy feeling or look. I applied more and still none. After a day of walking around in California sun, my face felt even better than the wife's Oil of Olay SPF face lotion (that I usually use). Plus this has twice the protection compared to it.
I would highly recommend this product. I suggest doing light coats at a time, it is un-advised to plaster the face like a face mask with any lotion. It is is also enriched with a bunch of extra stuff you'll have to read yourself, plus it's a cruelty free product (for those that might be concerned with that subject).

I have used the Ocean Potion line of products for years and it is the only sunblock I use.I am very sensitive to the sun and burn really easily. The sport sunblock is great if you are active, I even find it works getting in and out of the pool.

I got this and used it for a week in the caribbean last week. It's the worst lotion I've ever used! It just kind of dries on you in this film and then rolls off your skin in beads when you put your second coat on! It also said it was oil free, which I like because I have sensitive skin, but since it stays on your skin in such a thick film it clogged my pores and I broke out worse than I have ever broken out before. If we had access to a store during our trip I would have bought different lotion, and I will never buy this again! Yuck!
