Coppertone Sensitive Skin Body Lotion SPF 50, 6-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 3)

Coppertone Sensitive Skin Body Lotion SPF 50, 6-Ounce BottlesI LOVE this sunscreen and am on Amazon right now trying to figure out how to buy it in bulk.It has NO awful fragrance (I am very sensitive to smell even some of the ones marked "fragrance free" smell terrible to me) and does not irritate my skin (I have eczema on my hands). It is definitely thick and white going on, but it rubs in quickly. The sun protection is excellent just spent a week at the beach using this on me, my husband and our 19-month-old son. This will be my go-to sunscreen from now on.

People who have sensitivites should always do a little patch test first on the arm (instead of spreading a product all over the body). Of course, call your doc or derm if you have specific questions. The reason I picked this up was specifically because my husband has an allergy to anything with Vitamin E in it, and I didn't see that on the ingredient list.

Oddly enough, I cannot use any self-tanners, since I'm allergic to all of them. So, I end up having to stay pretty white all summer, or risk sun damage, which I don't wish to do.

This runs about $8 for 8 fl. oz.Sunscreen is getting pricey, but the alternative isn't too pretty. I recall having about three severe sunburns in my lifetime, due to my own negligence. One was at an air show on a tarmac (never thinking I'd get sunburned there). As I have gotten older, it seems as if I burn much more easily. Also, I realized over the years, the cumulative damage to my hands. I'm 52 and have always worn makeup. My face looks so much better than my hands. Daily sun exposure to our hands really takes its toll later on (just a word of advice to the younger ladies out there).

This product ismarketed for Sensitive Skin 50 SPF with zinc oxide (14.5%). Hypoallergenic, Fragrance-free, waterproof, broad spectrum UVA/UVB. My husband is allergic to Vitamin E (tocopheryl acetate), and it's almost impossible to find skin products without the "E" in them. I have only found one other sunscreen *without* Vitamin E.

I applied this to my skin and it absorbed quite quickly, but leaving a semi-tacky residue. There is a hint of sheen to the skin when using this product, so if you use it on your face, keep that in mind.

After reading many reviews about sunblocks, I bought this and gave it a try. Works fine against the sun. Not overly greasy or thick. Price is great. Ironically, though, even though I don't have sensitive skin, this gave me an itchy rash on my arms! My other gripe about this is that the cap broke the first time I opened it. I mean the VERY first time. So, this doesn't get to travel to the lake with us. It's the kind of lotion you apply at home and then head out somewhere. But other than being allergic to it and the cap breaking, it's fine.

This is the best barrier for sunlight that I've ever used. The SPF 50 is solid, plus the zinc oxide makes it very protective. It "attaches" / clings to skin way better than other sunscreens I've used and is very strong after a long swim (good water resistance).

The bottle is also designed well, with a good bottle size and small hole at the top.

It leaves all other sunscreens in the dust by far.As a light-skinned, regular swimmer, I've tried very many different sunscreens and none comes close to this one.If you want to prevent sunlight / skin damage, definitely go with this one.
