the headline didnt say oil so i bought it thinking it was a sunscreen spray. gets messy but does the job.

The first disturbing part of this product was that when putting it down the part of my little girl's hair it came in contact with the elastics in her hair and actually caused them to fall apart. I thought no way would a sunscreen do that so my husband ran back to the car, got some more elastics out of our luggage, which I tripled up and within five minutes they had all fallen apart too, due to the tiny amount of sunscreen left in her hair.I was beside myself at the thought that I had put this on my daughter and hoped that she would be okay. Well my little girl,who has never had an allergic reaction to other sunscreens or anything else for that matter, broke out in a rash that lasted a couple of days and had to be treated. She also had scratches all over from itching so bad. This product is not safe to use and has been reported to the FDA.

I purchased this sun protection from a local store for our recent trip to float the Guadalupe in 100+ temperatures for several hours, so this was a true quality test for this product. I really enjoyed this spray overall and would buy it again, but I did find a few down sides along the way.

First the negative:

The spray was difficult to get going with the very first use, and can be a bit hard to get to spray if your hands are oily from the product.

The bottle is not the best designed and I found that it slips out of my hands easily when they were wet and oily.

40 minute reapply time limit!

Positive:

I did not get burned where I applied it! I didn't use it on my face, as I was worried about spraying oil directly onto my face, and it burned.

There is no smell to this product once it's been applied. I do not like standing next to someone and only being able to think about their sunscreen.

No stains on clothes.

Doesn't do weird things to my hair. I got some of this product in the base of my hair around my neck and thought it'd be a greasy mess the rest of the afternoon, but it was fine and seemed to be either absorbed or dry within a few minutes.

Small amount is good for realistic use. I hate those huge bottles of sun screen that people hang onto for three years and think they still work. That stuff does expire! This small size would easily last me and my boyfriend (and the occasional friend that needs some) all summer with no problem.

This stuff is great. It has a very low odor of sun screenbarely noticeable. It's light weight, clear, and dried on my skin rather quickly. It's simple and easy to put on.
