Avene High Protection Tinted Compact SPF 50

This product gives excellent coverage.I play golf, and have used it constantly for the past five years.It makes my skin look great even after 4 hours on the course and I credit the the SPF 50 for the fact that at 69 I have no dark spots on my face and upper neck.In fact I have now decided that this will be my only make-up!Over the holidays I ran out of my Chanel foundation, and used it at night as well and my friends all commented on how flawless my skin looked!!YEA!!!

When I discovered this product last week it was because I was searching chemical-free sunscreens on the Environmental Working Group site and this came up as the safest sunscreen to use. So, I read the reviews and decided to test it out for myself. All the things that sounded amazing to me were that it is chemical-free, tinted, 50 SPF, and great for sensitive skin. Now, I really wanted to love this, but thought it sounded too good to be true. I thought for sure the beige color would be way too dark for my fair skin and that it would be harsh on my skin as so many products out there seem to be. But no, this stuff works amazingly and is perfect for me! I can't think of a more incredible product. The sunscreen is the perfect match for my skin. In fact, the only negative is that it's a little difficult to see where I have put it on my face because it blends in just that much. But if I look real close I can see where it's been applied. I love the compact. I thought the pad would make it a heavy application, but it's just the opposite. It goes on so light and smooth. In fact, it makes my face so even-toned (I normally have red splotches on my cheeks) and gives me a flawless finish. It's only been a few days, but I wear less make up and feel like I am glowing. All this while protecting my face with an all-natural sunscreen that's 50 SPF?! Awesome! My goal is to protect my face on a daily basis as I age so I don't have sun spots. This is even more than I had expected as it covers my face so beautifully. It's my new favorite product and one I can't imagine now not using. Avene, please continue making this product forever! I really wanted to like this but it's just too heavy. Once on, it feels like a thick foundation and gives me that waxy look and makes my pores look bigger than they are. I was pleasantly surprised by the color though like others have said, it's not as dark as it looks once you put it on.

This isthe perfect sunscreen/makeup combination.The coverage from the makeup is sufficient for my skin, not heavy and cakey, just enough to cover some hyperpigmentation. It goes on like silk and lasts all day.I'm an outdoorsy girl and I sweat a lot when it's warm and with this makeup the perspiration just rolls off and the makeup and protection stay on.I know the protection is working because I'v worn it all summer and no new dark spots have appeared.I'm a redhead with a light complection and the beige shade is so blendable with my skin it's hard to tell where the makeup ends and naked skin starts.I do have to wear a heavy moisturizer under this because my skin can be a bit dry.
