I have been on a long search to find an affortable natural mineral sunscreen after reading so much on how toxic others are.I have purchased several items in the upwards of $25.00 but still come out looking like a gray ghost.I have a natural tan so any white residue looks awful.I tried out this sunscreen at a local drug store and was shocked that it didn't leave a white residue especially with such a high spf.I didn't buy it right away as I wanted to see how it looked in the sun...still good! I volunteered at a swimming meet and wore it all day and was burn free.

When you first put it on it is very white and you are going to think "no way this isn't going to leave white residue" but after rubbing it in just a bit (like normal sunscreen) it just disappears.

I like this sunscreen a lot.Its on a list by EWG as a score 3-which is quite good.It has only mineral sunscreen and non of the chemical.Use is for my kids and myself.As with the mineral sunscreen you have to except the product to be a little thicker but I don't mind it at all. I also like that it has no fragrance.Highly recommended.

I had to look for a new sunscreen this year when I started to develop a rash every time I used the product I've been using for many years.It was difficult to find a sunscreen that had none of the active ingredients that was in my old product.Came across Banana Boat Natural Reflect and decided to give it a try.I love it!No smell, no greasy feeling, and no shiney nose!I love the consistancy, it's a cream instead of a lotion.It does take a little more time to rub in well but you know you are getting better coverage than with those thin liquidy products.Because it rubs in well and isn't greasy it doesn't get in my eyes when I sweat.I also don't feel the need to immdediately wash it off when I come inside because it is such a cosmetically pleasing product.

I don't often write reviews, but I thought I should for is, as it's new and only has a few.I have been trying many different mineral-based sunblocks for myself and my family, as we'd like to avoid toxic chemicals when/if possible. We had a few that we liked, but they were always rinsing off upon entering water, or were too greasy, never rubbing in, made us look like ghosts, had a funny smell, just plain old didn't work,or something that made me continue searching.

I saw this product, rated 3 on the EWG website, and was intrigued that it had a 50+ SPF rating, so I bought one. This is BY FAR my favorite.It goes on really easily, rubs in quickly, doesn't leave a greasy or white film, stays on for a very long time in the pool (water just beads up on our skin), has no smell, is very reasonably priced, and best of all, IT WORKS!!! I put it on myself, my husband, and all of our kids (even on our faces), and swam in the pool for over 2 hours straight, in the middle of a sunny day, and NO ONE burned.

My search for a non-chemical sunblock is over. I really hope Banana Boat continues to make this product, and becomes more widely available. I love, love, love it!
