I usually use white zinc oxide in hidden places, but when I have a rash in the eyebrows or any other place where you really don't want a white spot, use Clear Zinc. It doesn't look clear in the container, but as you apply it, it disappears, but is still there. If you are using white zinc-oxide for sun protection, keep using it. There is no substitute for it. Even the highest UV protection doesn't protect your skin like white zinc-oxide. Unless your ancestors are people who evolved in sunlight, like the Native Americans on the plains or the Aborigines of Austrailia, protect your skin when in direct sunlight. Your skin is a very sensative organ and people with skin that is sensative to sunlight may develop skin cancer when the skin is over exposed to sunlight. If you don't like anything on your skin, your best bet is to wear a white hat with a big brim and the rest of your outer clothing should be white, including gloves, for maximum protection. Also, wear dark glasses to protect your eyes. Many people suffer from cataracts, due to over exposure to sunlight over the years. Everyone is different, but I believe in adaquate protection. No one likes cancer or eye problems.
