I used this during my pregnancy with success. It was a great moisturizer for me and I did not have any chloasma issues during my pregnancy (and I was pregnant all spring/summer and exposed to sun). I was happy with everything in Belli's line that I used.

I've use this face washer through my nine-month pregnancy and I am still using it after our son was born. It's mild, smells good, keeps my face clean, and the best part, it's safe for baby. Titanium dioxide has a wide range of applications, from paint to sunscreen to food coloring. It has been used for over 40 years in almost all physical sunscreens due to its high refractive index, strong UV absorbing ability and resistance to discoloration under ultraviolet light. This advantage increases stability and ability to protect the skin from the harmful ultraviolet rays. This substance remains on the skin surface and is not absorbed into the skin nor passes into the bloodstream.

There are a few controversial published studies related to the toxicity of titanium dioxide. It should be taken into account that these were implemented in animals using the orally, injected or inhaled form of the substance and not the topical form. On the other hand, all the studies conducted to check the skin absorption of titanium dioxide in humans have shown that this substance remains on the skin surface. ("Micronized titanium dioxide is solely deposited on the outermost surface of the stratum corneum and cannot be detected in deeper stratum corneum layers, the human epidermis and dermis" Advan Drug Del Rev 2002;54:S157-S163) Therefore, its use in sunscreens is safe since the substance remains on the skin surface, is not absorbed and does not reach the bloodstream. It is approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the European Medicine Agency (EMA) to be safely used as a sunscreen.

I was a firm believer that mineral sunscreen (ie containing titanium dioxide vs the chemical ingredients) was safer and was using it on myself and young children. Juice Beauty SPF 30 Mineral Light Moisturizer

i've been waiting for an organic tinted sunblock for soooo long. i've used clinique cityblock forever but would prefer an organic alternative. i have to buy something with a yellow undertone as mine is very pink. i bought 'sand' from juice beauty website. since i live in a small town, i contacted the company to ask if it was a yellow undertone and never received a response back-email and telephone call not returned.

i finally made my way to a whole foods and they were sold out of the 'light' but i sampled the tester and really thought it was great so i bought two of these from the website since i was having to pay shipping.

1. they must have changed the formula, because 'sand' is not yellow/neutral(it used to be called 'light'). i can't figure out what the undertoneis but is definitely not yellow.

2. it becomes very GREASY after while. it doesn't leave the tube that way, and even after i massaged and squished the tube it was exactly the same. i've ruined my compact powder because my sponge was so oily.

3. i've tried to use it for three weeks and after a few hours my skin looks TERRIBLE.

4. i posted my review on the company website stating what i wrote here almost word for word. it was sent to be reviewed for 'moderation'. then i noticed that there are NO bad or moderate reviews on their product website. all are 4 and 5 star reviews.

it's early yet but i have a feeling that my reviews won't be posted nor will i be contacted out of concern for customer service.

at 30$ a pop, it's an expensive lesson to learn; if you cannot contact the company, realize that they aren't interested in your satisfaction.

I dont wear foundation or powder so this product is perfect for a little skin coverage. And no chemical sunscreens! It does leave skin "dewey," which I love but I've heard others may prefer a more matte finish.

If you are looking for an organic product that provides SPF as well as daily moisture under your makeup, this is THE ONE. I've been using it for more than six months now, and really love it.

My experience with this tinted moisturizer has been GREAT. I have very fair, sensitive skin, which really needs a daily moisturizer with SPF of at least 30. In the past, I've tried blending my foundation with sunscreen to avoid layering on too much stuff. (My skin might be dry, but BOTH a moisturizer AND a sunscreen gets to be way too much goop on my face!) Now I use this product alone as both my daily facial moisturizer/foundation; it works REALLY well under makeup, and holds powder well. I frequently get compliments on my "glowy" complexion and smooth skin -both of which I credit to this product!

Not too greasy for the face and provide SPF protection. My only disappointment is that I didn't realize it was only 2 4oz bottles. We love this sunscreen!Our three children are on the local swim team here in Colorado, and for our 1st swim meet I went to King Soopers and bought spf 110 sport water resistant sunscreen. We were very sunburned at the end of the meet. After researching sunscreens, we found that Rocky Mountain sunscreen was formulated for our high altitude.We gave it a try at the past two swim meets and we didn't get burned at all! (This week it was 103 degrees!!)The lotion is very thick, but it absorbs into your skin very quickly and you can't even tell you have it on.I get hives when ever I put sunscreen on my face and legs and I didn't get hives.It is designed for people with alergies and it worked for me.It has a very light sunscreen smell, but that is to be explected.We are sold on this product.

This is an effective sunblock, but it is a bit dry for applying on skin and it does stay white

This sunscreen is incredibly natural and effective. Furthermore, this sunscreen doesn't get on your clothes (as long as you properly rub it in) or have a sticky texture. However, this product left a metal scent on my hands and I have found that even if I wash my hands throughly, the scent lingers. Additionally, I am not a fan of this product's orange smellit overpowers my perfume.

I will be purchasing from this brand again (the baby sunscreen), but not this specific product.

Living in Florida, I have experimented with practically every sunscreen I've encountered. I have very fair, acne-prone, and sensitive skin. The skin on my face is very easily irritated even becoming red and bothered by Neutrogena and other typically well-regarded sunscreens. This sunscreen has been my favorite by far, and I apply it to my face everyday! My skin has never once been irritated after having used it.

Makeup is easily applied over it (which is fairly rare compared to other brands I've tried) and it's lightweight making it perfect for daily use. I wouldn't recommend using this sunscreen for any intense sun protection such as swimming in the ocean, exercise, etc.

Although advertised as being "oil-free," I would say there is a little bit of oil present since my face typically is a little bit shiny just after application. Nothing uncomfortable, though. Also, there is a scent in the lotion, but it's not at all strong and I never notice it after I've applied. All in all, my favorite daily sunscreen! I wish Amazon would offer it with Prime!
