I guess its doing its job to block rays. I bought this to protect my skin because Im using a kojic acid soap and its stripping my skin. This isnt moisturizing at all and it pills up to form these very annoying little white things on my skin. I guess Ill have to put on lotion before I use this. Update September 2012: This sunscreen had been out of stock for a long while and finally came back in stock just after the summer..can you say bad timing? Unfortunately, according to the picture and description on their website this sunscreen is now being put into a plastic tube container AND they decreased the amount making it 1.6 oz instead of 2 oz. and they are charging the SAME Price and some sellers here on Amazon are charging higher than on the 100% pure website (How Deceitful) I liked the original glass pumping bottle and it avoided the issue of possible plastic chemical leakage, not any more :(
Also, It is unfortunate that 100% pure decided to give less and charge the same price while putting this into an inferior plastic tube. I suppose it is typical of companies that see people enjoy their product and instead of leaving it alone they take advantage, decrease the amount,and do not give any explanation of the change thinking people will not notice.
Update November 2012:
I have been trying out the new version and in comparison to the original....
1. The pump is dysfunctional on this new tube bottle, it works sometimes and then stops pumping out product after a while. You end up having to open it up which defeats the purpose of keeping it from getting contamination and air inside. They need to go back to the original bottle.
2. The new formulation does seem a little thicker than the original formulation which is still okay, but the zinc they are using may be different from the original because I am now starting to get slight irritation in my eyes that I did not get with the original formulation prior to September 2012.
3. The face becomes a little drier after wearing this, it does not moisturize the face, so it is best to put some moisturizer or oil before putting this on your face. Also, if your face is not exfoliated prior to wearing this, it will show under this sunscreen so be sure you do not have dry patches on your face as it will emphasize them. It is not as bad as other more whitening sunscreens but be aware that this can happen.
Below is my review from the original bottle from the Original 2oz. Glass version prior to the September 2012 container, formulation, and size change:
Pros:
1. It does go on nicely and spreads clear with a nice finish but if you put more than 2 squirts of this on your face be sure to apply a thin layer of oil or good moisturizer on your skin first to ensure it will not turn to white smudging in some areas.
2. It uses 24.8% Zinc. Higher Zinc Oxide level helps for better protection UVB & UVA.
3. Does not cause watery eyes or go into the eyes as the day goes, stays in place.
4. Does not irritate Acne prone or sensitive skin.
5. The label on the bottle does not smear off easily over time like other Natural brand labels do.
6. I loved that it came in a glass bottle pump but a dark tinted glass would be better to block UV light like amber or dark blue (like other natural product lines do for their products) to protect the product ingredients from light.
Cons:
1. If you put too much of this on your face it does start to develop white random patches/smudges on areas of your face or start to ball up if you try to fix it, so you have to be cautious of how much you put on your face especially if you put this on your face alone without another product.
2. It might be using Nano Zinc Oxide. Some people may not like this. It does not state what type of Zinc they are using on the bottle.
Overall thoughts:
I am still unsure how this sunscreen performs in direct prolonged sunlight as I have so far been using it for incidental day to day activities which do not require me out in the sun for too long or when I am near a window while indoors. It seems okay for that. It is a nice sunscreen for those days you will not be in the direct sun too much and do not have time to rub in and deal with one of those other more whitening sunscreens that you have to apply a tint over. This one at least feels more elegant and blends in nicely especially if you put a little oil/good moisturizer on your face first to help prevent any white patching or peeling just in case.
So far it seems that it may be a keeper for those days you need a natural sunscreen without the white mess and oiliness you might get from other types.

They call this a hydration facial moisturizer but it is nothing more then a sun screen.It is a thick white cream that is a little hard to spread.It does not moisturize and severely irritated my skin.The pump on the tube is dysfunctional.So you have to learn to barely touch it because it will spew more out then you want. When you take your finger off the pump it keeps going on it's own. After using it a few times or so the pump stopped working completely so I had to unscrew it and squeeze the product out. The only really positive thing I have to say is that it is not greasy but I had to stop using it and send it back.

I read the reviews myself before I purchased the product. I did agree with others about the consistency: sort of pasty and you have to pat it on so it doesn't become a white mess on your face. That's usually how organic moisturizers with an SPF are, though. (I've also tried Burt's Bees) The smell isn't quite pleasant but I dealt with it. Since it had a high SPF, I kept using it for protection.The hydration was what gave me a problem... it didn't hydrate, to put it simply. I started developing dry patches around my nose and the inner corners of my eye area. I soon after purchased 100% Pure's Red Wine Reservatrol cream and that definitely helped my face get back to normal.
I say, if you're gonna buy this, have another cream handy to keep your face properly moisturized. I will continue using it for it's all natural properties and SPF protection, but if I find something better, I won't hesitate to switch.

I did a lot of reading , hours in fact, and this is the product that I was steered to.I absolutely love it.It looks beautiful on, with a hint of "white eye shadow" effect.I use it above the eye and underneath the eye.People compliment me when I have it on.It is easy to apply and ever so gentle on the eye area.It lasts a long time, between ten and twelve months depending on how often you put it on.On days that I stay home, I do not use it.Anytime I go outside, I have it on.My dermatologist says to wear sunscreen and foundation with sunscreen in it even if you only walk from your car into work every day.Each minute that you are outside adds up to hours of sun exposure in the long run.He directed me to LaRoche Posay products and his wife is a big fan of them, too.I also use the LaRoche Posay SPF moisturizer, recommended again by my dermatologist.Both are fabulous and like I said, my eyes look refreshed, awake, just glowing with this on.
It was delivered on time that's why it deserved one star. However,...
1. When I opened the cap at first I didn't get cream, but some liquid (not sure whether that was oil base of the cream or water residue), so my thoughts were it's either because of inproper storage or transportation conditions or maybe it's the quality of the product itself.
2. After I squeezed a good amount of that strange liquid I got the cream, but it's difficult to put onto my under eye area since it's too dense. I mean it's not an anti-cellulite cream which I need to rub into my skin. Since it's an eye-cream it should be light, so it would not demand a lot of effort to apply on my delicate under eye area since I don't want any stretches, wrinkles over there. I expected it to be light something like Aveeno under eye Roller. So, in the end I have this item, but I can not use it.

After searching all over for a foundation that doesn't make me look orange or cakey, I'd pretty much given up.I'm fairly pale, but most things made for "fair" skin are still too dark for me, but I also don't want something that's going to make me look even whiter. All I really want is something natural-looking to even out my skin.So I decided to give this tinted moisturizer a shot.It's exactly what I needed!It blends incredibly well without streaking and obvious lines.It evens out my skin and hides red tones without looking caked on.This gives me a healthy glow, but still doesn't look obvious and mismatched against the rest of my skin and coloring.
I was using Aveeno's tinted moisturizer until I found this one. The Boots product blends better, it is easier to get out of the bottle, and it doesn't smell like 80s Pert Plus. Also, the Aveeno would look weird on my skin and you could identify blemishes. Boots Tinted Moisturizer gives better coverage and feels more moisturizing.
A note on the colors: I am usually a Medium, but the Boots Medium is darker than most brands. I had to use the Fair / Light.

I bought the "medium" shade last summer (at target) which was a good match for me as I had a bit of a tan.It's now winter, so I just purchased the "fair" shade and like it as well has a bit of warmth to it, but not orangey.I do have several age spots on my cheeks ... this product doesn't cover them up, but they are a bit less noticeable.I like this foundation as it has more of a natural look to it ... not cakey and fake looking, it seems to absorb into the skin as apposed to just sitting ontop.The only note of caution is, as one other reviewer mentioned, that the tube tends to dispense a bit too much when you squeeze it, and you'll get a nicer result with less product.One more note ... the Boots "high lights illuminating lotion" is a great product as well to add a touch of glow to your cheekbones.Read Best Reviews of No7 Soft & Sheer Tinted Moisturizer SPF15 Medium Here
Too often, makeup looks cakey or has a color that doesn't compliment you, much less look natural! When I wear this, I get compliments like "You look radiant today" or "You're glowing, what's his name?"
I love the fact that I can even my skin tone out a bit and still look truly natural with this product. It has sunscreen too which is a big plus
My only beef with this is that when you are half done with it, it's hard not to squeeze out extra, which gets pretty wasteful toward the end of it

I bought Aqua Block a few years ago for hiking. This is is one of the few non-toxic sunblocks which is very important. Why protect yourself from harmful sun rays and then put on toxic sunscreen? Also I read years ago,the only true sunblock is zinc oxide.It is is hard to find these days but so I was thrilled to find it in a product. The product is fragrance free,another plus.I have never posted a review on Amazon so you could say I am mighty impressd by this product.
First time using this product.Spent a week in the caribbean in the sun and did not get burned at all! Just a nice tan. It is a little thick and requires a little extra work to rub it in but not a problem for us.

I love this make-up. doesn't change color later on. Gives me control of how much to use. Blends well. I can apply it lightly or a little heavier on areas that need a little more coverage without changing products. I've been using this for several years and will continue to do so as long as they make it.

I'm very pale and often feel self conscious during the summer about the shade of my skin, particularly on my legs.Most sunless tanning lotions I've tried end up giving me a very orange shadesomething I think is a result of just how pale my skin is.I'd never tried Nivea and decided to give it a shot.After three applications I'm very happy.This lotion is very easy to apply and I've had no issues with color build-up around dry areas such as elbows or knees.Because is seems to work a bit more gradually, I also haven't had issues with sudden changes in skin color where I didn't apply quite enoughit seems to blend much more seamlessly than other lotions I've tried.
As for scent, it far surpasses any other lotion I've tried so far.The lotion starts off with a sweet scent that is not overpowering and in the world of sunless tanning lotions, quite pleasant.After the lotion has set, it does have a slight chemical scent, but not overpowering or anything that made me feel self-conscious.I haven't had any problems with run-off onto clothes or fabric, but I do let the lotion dry for about ten minutes before letting it rub on to anything.The extra bonus is the drying component of the lotionit lasts all day and my skin feels soft and silky, no greasy.
If you're looking for a new sunless tanning lotion to try I'd recommend giving this one a shot.It's relatively cheap, gives a natural color with a pleasant smell, and won't leave you looking like a splotchy pumpkin in July.
I love this stuff.I have very fair skin, but don't like to get too much sun (skin cancer runs in the family).I love being able to use this for a week or two and have enough color to wear shorts or a skirt without being embarassed.I hope they never discontinue it!!If you are looking for a true "tan" look, this will not provide it!!It simply gives a nice natural glow.

This stuff does have a nice subtle sun kissed look but a day after use it clogs my pores and causes huge pimples. This is a top-notch lotion for gradually adding color. The scent is quite light (citrus-y maybe?) and it doesn't bother my sensitive skin that often gets itchy from various products.Though seemingly a small complaint, the one downside is an issue with every application. Because of the shape of this bottle, when your hands are slippery (with lotion, duh), it's really hard to hold onto. If it had a squeeze top or had ridges or some other "grip" option, it would be 5-star. Other products from other brands (like 'Oil of...') are in squeeze tubes or other easier-to-handle shapes.
If you think that will drive you a little nuts, I'd suggest you try something else.
