I am a lip balm junkie which makes me a lip balm snob.I've tried them all -cheap ones to super expensive ones (yes, even the $75 kind).I am super picky about taste, smell, gloppiness, appearance, glossiness, and, of course, the job it does. . . . this is the absolute best on every level.I have one handy everywhere --purse, bathroom, desk drawer, etc. . .I continue to try new balms that come along, but this is still the best. .

I have tried a lot of foundations and this liquid foudation is the best one yet.I had been using bare minerals for a few years and felt like my face was starting to dry out.Then I was looking around and found this liquid mineral foundation.I still use the powder minerals when I am in a hurry but really love this stuff.It covers everything I need to cover without it looking cakey or made up. It also matching my skin color so good that it really doesn't look like I have any make up on.
The price is completely fair because it goes so far. It doesn't take much and it STAYS ON until you're ready to remove it.When it says 'all day' it means it.It doesn't matter what I do in this makeup.I can go to work, go out in the heat of the day all day, swim, or workout and the stuff still stays on.
Other makeups have always caused me breakouts and some others have just faded away into my skin after awhile, but this stuff is amazing.It cleared my skin instantly when I began using it due to some of the great ingredients in it and it doesn't ever fade away.I've probably tried most every makeup out there. I've tried the department store makeups, Estee Lauder, Lancome, Merle Norman, Mary Kay, Avon, Bare Minerals, some of those I liked BUT to me there is no makeup that equals this stuff.
It's a liquid mineral makeup so it's very healthy for your skin. Also, unlike the powdered mineral makeups it doesn't settle in the fine lines of my face.Honestly, I don't know what I'd do without it.I love it!

I am always on the search for a "perfect" foundation that is natural looking. I have tried mineral makeup like Bare Escentuals and I think Illuminare is a superior product with the caveat that everyone's skin is different. I have relatively oily skin but need coverage of blotchiness and shine. I still have to blot with oil absorbing sheets throughout the day (as with any makeup if you are really oily) but my skin feels lighter, cleaner, and less clogged with this product. FYI, I'm in my late 20's and have relatively large pores and some fine lines. It is hard to find a makeup that doesn't accentuate pores and feel heavy/oily/cakey. This is one of the few. It seems to minimize pores and reduce shine for a bit, and it stays on ALL DAY. And with SPF, how could you ask for more? It is expensive but this stuff lasts forever. You only need a tiny amount, and that is the key to applying it properly. I just use my fingers to apply in the middle part of my face and it blends very well.If you have very dry skin, this is not the one for you (but they have a moisturizing formula as well). The coverage is great if you want a lot, but you can make it very light and natural as well. I rarely give positive reviews on products but this one has grown on me. I thought this foundation would be good, something different that would stay on through humidity and long days.The first time I tried the foundation, I did not blend it correctly and it looked grainy and whiter than other patches of skin.I tried to blend it, but the thick consistency did not allow me to do so.I ended up trying to take it off but it was very hard to get off, especially with a cream cleanser.The Alabaster is way too white for ivory skin and I ended up looking sort of vampirish if you blend it well enough you can tone that down.It doesnot cover small spots well it did not cover redness on my cheek and when I tried to use extra foundation to cover it, I could not blend it over my imperfections.This foundation is very thick and very grainy.Think of putting caulk on your face.It seems to get a little mask-like in consistency.I did not like the small toothpaste tube it came in.I would not be beyond ordering the Portofino color to give it a second chance.I thought maybe it was because the color was all wrong.The reasons I would give it a second chance are because I have no doubts that it would definitely stay on all day, even through humidity.There is no bad smell to the makeup.Blended very carefully it does make the skin look smooth and perfected.Additionally, I partially blame myself for buying a color that I believe is too white.This is not for people who want a sheer, natural coverage.If you are scared of it not coming off or being hard to get off, you would not like this either.Durability and stability are important for me because of the different hot to cold conditions I'm in all day and for sweating.This is very different and takes a certain amount of skill to blend in just right.Not recommended for most, but if you need foundation with staying power, be sure to pick the right color.Want Illuminare - Ultimate All Day Foundation/Concealer Discount?

This is a great lip balm -nice vanilla-ish flavor, smooth texture.The spf 30 is a big plus, and the sunscreen doesn't make the balm sticky or waxy.I'll always have this around!

I personally love this lip balm.It's very natural, comfortable, smells wonderful, and I really like the tin.The tubes are sometimes more convenient, but the tins do have their benefits.It fits in your pocket a little more nicely.Plus, what's the deal with those tubes?Sometimes you open the cap and the product is SMASHED into the top after just hanging out in your pocket.You know what I'm talking about... It's a dreadful tragedy.Never happens with the tin.Also, there's the washer/dryer incidents.I find that accidentally washing a tube with my clothes results in a loss of all the beeswax.The tin actually hold it all in!Wash it all you want.Amazing.I know this from experience.It's easily my favorite lip balm highly recommended.
1) It tastes like peppermint. I know it's mentioned in the online description, but it's not stated prominently on the package (but there is mention of peppermint oil in the ingredients list).
2) There's more in the tin than in the tube, for about the same price. The tin has 0.3oz, the tube had 0.15oz. Both go for about 3 bucks and some change. It's a no brainer to go with the tin.

I love lip products and was disappointed when I could NO LONGER find at local drug and department stores. As usual Amazon comes through and I stocked up. This product stays on for a good while and the flavor is pleasant.The only downer is that you have to apply with a finger, but, that actually allows perfect coverage. Although this hairspray is labelled "extra-hold" your hair feels soft after spraying.The spray does hold nicely, has no lingering scent, and doesn't make your hair feel sticky or dirty hours after use.I once could get it at Walgreens but they seem to no longer carry it so ordering it from Amazon is good.I order enough in one order to share with a friend.

I've been buying this hair spray off and on for maybe 15 years (?).I do have very sensitive skin (including my scalp), and I keep trying other "fragrance-free" brands as I discover them.In addition to the sensitive skin, I also get migraines and then I can't tolerate any sort of cosmetics or toiletries with any sort of fragrance.This spray does have a slight odor when you first apply it, but it dissipates pretty quickly.I keep coming back to it, and I think for the past year or so it's been the only one I've used.Some of the so-called fragrance-free brands (from major companies) have a really vile odor; I've ended up giving them to friends or throwing them out.The downside of this spray is that it definitely is NOT "extra-hold" it actually is a very, very LIGHT hold.I have very fine hair, but fortunately it isn't thinning (at least not yet), so even though I get it permed every three months or so, it still takes A LOT of spray for me to look presentable through most of the day.I find that I have to LAYER this stuff like paint.I spray one layer, then put on my lipstick, or straighten up the bathroom, etc., then when the first layer is completely dry, I spray a second layer; if I'm going to an outdoor dressy occasion, it takes a third layer as well.So, I go through a can rather quickly.Good thing this stuff has always been relatively inexpensive!Oh, even when I spray on three layers, this spray is pretty easy to comb or brush out at the end of the day (occasionally I have to dampen the comb or brush a little).Read Best Reviews of Condition 3-N-1 Aero Hairspray 7 oz. Organic Ivory Shea Butter 32oz SOFT & CREAMY
I purchased this shea butter to use on my hair and skin. This was my first time purchasing shea butter, but from everything I've researched about shea butter (I researched for months before I decided to make a purchase), the shea butter sent to me by the currently-listed seller, smellgood, is the real deal! What I received is exactly what is pictured in the product listing's picture. It is a whitish/yellow-tinged butter. The color was very important to me. I didn't want the butter to be stark white, as that indicates that it's refined and has lost some of the properties that make shea butter so amazing. I also didn't want the butter to be deep or mustard yellow, either, because I believe that this kind of butter is either Kpagnan butter/African butter (which is often sold here in the West as "Yellow Shea Butter") or shea butter that contains dyes or other additives. Not what I'm looking for! The color of the shea butter I received gives me confidence that it is true, unrefined shea butter (though there's no way to know if it's truly "organic" as claimed, since it isn't certified organic).I was especially happy to see that my butter came in a plastic container. After reading many of the reviews on other shea butter listings, I was expecting to receive a big lump of butter in a plastic bag, which is pretty tacky if you ask me, since storing it that way can be messy due to the fact that it starts melting at a certain temperature. I can store this shea butter in the container in which it arrived. I was also very happy with the quality of the shea butter itself. Based on the comments of other reviewers of shea butter, I was prepared to smell a somewhat stinky, nutty scent when I opened the container, but the smell didn't actually bother me. It smells mildly of Play-Doh or crayon. My niece said it smelled like dog treats. Either way, while it's not a pleasant scent, I don't think it stinks, either.
The texture of the butter is very grainy in its natural state, but it melts very quickly when it comes in contact with skin (I've had it melt right on my fingertip) and leaves it feeling very moist and nourished! Once it's on the skin, it does feel greasy/oily at first, but it eventually absorbs completely into the skin and leaves no residue. The scent also fades and becomes very faint on the skin. (Note: The key to avoiding greasy/oily skin with shea butter is to avoid being heavy-handed. A little goes a long way). I do not use the shea butter alone, though. I make it into a cream using carrier and essential oils, which I then use as a skin and hair cream. (I use it on my face, as well. Shea butter is not comedogenic and ranks 0 on a scale of 0 to 5 with a ranking of 0 meaning that a substance will not clog pores). I was already using oils on my hair and skin, but the addition of the shea butter has certainly made both my hair and skin more moist, supple, and soft. I will be coming back for this shea butter for as long as the quality continues!
Other reviews of this product led me to believe that it would have a nuttier smell...it smells almost rancid. Its not an overwhelming scent, its just not what I was expecting. As a lotion its amazing...what a trip how it is gritty at first but warms to the heat of your hand and rubs in completely. The grit just disappears! As long as you don't use too much it soaks completely in to your skin and it feels amazing. I bought some essential oils to mix with it to change the scent. Will definitely purchase more when I run out.

This shea butter is superior quality! Smells nutty, like it's supposed to and comes in a creamy consistency. The color is an ivory color rather than the yellow kind... I prefer the ivory shea butter! I use this in my hair and skin mixtures. I sometimes use it alone as well. The properties of shea butter are healing and amazing.
