I purchased this twice, from 2 different sellers on Amazon, because their prices were cheaper than those sold on SkinMedica's website. Once in November 2012 and once in January 2013. The experience of these past 2 tubes were extremely similar.

So I'll just describe my experience with the very last one I just used up last week.

After about 1~2 weeks of usage, as someone mentioned before on Amazon about the same product in a different size, when I squeezed the tube it started to split water. I used it everyday, and everyday I had to hold a tissue to absorb the split water, and yeah that's A LOT. I checked the expiration date and everything seems to be alright. I just couldn't solve the water issue. I sent email to SkinMedica's customer services but there was no reply so I thought I'll just go over to a store sometime.

Then I found a line in the instruction at the bottom of the tube: Shake well before use.

Okay, my bad.

No matter how you shake the tube it just won't mix water with sunscreen. The rest of the tube, after so much water came out, became dry and very hard to spread on skin, especially when it's about to be empty. ----Well, I hope it was at least a sunscreen. So that I was not putting nothing on my face for the past two months.

After using up the whole tube last week, I ordered a new one from SkinMedica's official website because I was also purchasing some other SkinMedica products. I received my new sunscreen of exactly the same brand and same type, but this time it's smooth and NON-DRYING. NO WATER SPLIT.

Then I started to read the instruction on the back of the tube. There's NO sentence saying "Shake well" AT ALL.

Well, just like my previous experience with the brushhead of Clarisonic brush. The cap of the brushhead won't close properly, and the brushhead itself felt WEIRD, I cannot tell why but it's just different texture from my previous one purchased in store. -----After 4 months, the blue circle that was supposed to suggest "time to change your brushhead" did not fade at all. Still bright & new.

I have no idea if this sunscreen is also a fake product or what. All I know is that I'll NEVER purchase it again from Amazon.

Below was my original review written months ago, for the first tube I purchased in store, not from Amazon. I still highly recommend this product; it's one of the best sunscreens I've ever used.

Strongly recommended to people with acne-prone, oily skin. I've been looking for physical sunscreen for months for my sensitive, oily skin, and most of them (because of the nature of physical sunscreen) were greasy and heavy. This one turned out to be the best one I've ever met. The whitening-effect (another common problem of physical sunscreen!) still exists here, but it's acceptable and can be solved by putting a thin layer of loose powder to balance the unnaturally white color. The best thing about this? It feels cool and dry so won't burden my oily skin. It has a rather solid, dry texture so it will take some time to spread it evenly on your face, but it feels much better than most physical sunscreens. Since it's not water/sweat-proof, I'll switch to more stable physical sunscreens in summer time. But for the rest of the year when I'm not going to the beach or exposing myself in sweaty, sunny conditions, this one is totally enough. Will definitely purchase again.

Jergens Natural Glow Healthy Complexion Daily Facial Moisturizer for Medium to Tan SPF, 2 Ounce

This stuff is gold for me. I've tried a few different tanning lotions (most recently Banana Boat Summer Color, Loreal Sublime Glow for Face) and out of all of them, the Jergens face one has been the best so far. It doesn't smell like the usual self tanners as much and gives me a nice color. I used to tan a lot, mostly because my face lost color so fast. But this lotion makes it so I can tan much, much less. If I am going out at night or the next day and want some color, I'll wash my face and use the lotion before putting makeup on. The color is subtle but develops soo nicely, and evenly. With Loreal's face tanner, for me the color was there but not as smooth looking, and the lotion smelled much more "tanning lotion"ey. I was surprised to see the reviews for the Loreal lotion to be so much higher than Jergens. Maybe I am not looking at the right product.

I also found this lotion to be less greasy than Loreal. I don't even feel the lotion after I use it. It is awesome.

I used to go tanning once every week or two to maintain a healthy looking complexion. After doing some research about the negative effects of tanning (both from the sun and tanning booths) I decided to give the artificial tanning products a try. It does not give you as deep of a tan as regular tanning does but it does the job well. Most importantly it saves you from cancer causing UV rays that are unavoidable when tanning. Its also a great moisturizer and has a lot of ingredients to keep your skin healthy and looking younger. If you have acne do not worry, I actually think this product reduces acne by keeping your skin hydrated. I use it every night and every morning.

Title says it: this product does what it claims, though I gave it three stars due to it including Oxybenzone and erythrulose the former being linked to cell destabilization and cancer in mice, and the latter being unapproved for external use by even the FDA. Anyone here know of any alternative tanning facial lotions which do NOT incorporate these chemicals? If not, I suppose I'll have no choice but to go back to my naturally pale complexion. Sigh.

Unfortunately this lotion didn't work well for me. I like the other products in the Jergens sunless tanning line, but this one is watery, greasy and caused my skin to break out. It did give some color, but I think that a bronzer does the job just as well, and doesn't leave you smelling like a fake tan.

I'm allergic to many of the sunscreens that have PABA or some of the other common screening agents. (I end up with a rash that paradoxically looks like a bad sunburn.) But being very fair despite being a brunette, I have to use sunscreen when I spend time outdoors.

I like This one because it's SPF 30 and it's resistant to running off when you perspire. It doesn't bother my skin, and it seems to stay on a good part of the day. I won't burn with SPF-30 but I think they have a 50 if you are really sensitive. The aloe and vitamin A and E in this formula seem to be very soothing to the skin.

I used to use spray-on sunscreen but they can be really oily & messy.This sunscreen is not greasy & doesn't have a heavy odor.I kayak a lot in the summer so I need something "sweat resistant & water resistant"; this is both.I reapply if I go underwater but I've been lazy & not reapplied & it still worked (I wouldn't recommend being lazy that way!). It doesn't make your skin feel like it's encased in a slimy bag.Of course the most important thing, it blocks UVA/UVB rays & keeps me from getting sunburned!

I've used sunscreen that doesn't wash out of my clothes yuck.This one doesn't seem to leave a lot of odor after going through the wash; there may be a hint of its scent but not so strong that I need separate clothes for wearing sunscreen.It probably helps that it's not really oily & absorbs in to the skin.

I only bought this because of the price but it is a great product. Been out in the sun for 3 days and 8 eight hours a day painting and I'm not in the hospital with 3rd degree burns. I put it on my face,ears and the back of my neck about 20 minutes before heading out to paint and then again about 4 hours later and NO BURN!! i was previously using Aveeno Ultra-Calming Night Cream because I love that the feverfew extract keeps my face from becoming red and irritated.This night cream is above and beyond better than that ever was.This not only has the feverfew extract but also contains anti-aging ingredients that smooth out fine lines.It has a light, sweet, almost fruity smell and glides on smoothly. I only wish that instead of a tube it came in a pump bottle like their Healthy Skin lotion does.

I am a big fan of Neutrogena since I started using the Anti-Oxidant Age Reverse line of products. The night cream, I believe, is perfect for my age group. I just turned thirty which means my combination skin is starting to get dry in certain areas and I have an uneven tone. I love the look of my skin in the morning now. In fact, I only rinse my face in the morning so as not to remove the "acid mantle" (look it up!), and because it looks so beautiful. It blends into the skin relatively fast (I hate moisturizers that sit on top), and leaves my skin feeling a little tinglybut in a really good way.This is not a typical creamnot for crepey, dry skin.

**Just to help, my (skin) profile: I'm mixed Asian/European with normal/dry skin, pores enlarged (before were non-existant), uneven skin tone, and mild wrinkles on forehead, eyes, and chin; although all are improving including skin clarity and luminescence.**

First, I'll describe my skin: very fair with freckels, very fine lines around eyes and mouth that are only noticable when my skin is really dry. I have occasional acne, one or two pimples per month. I'm in my late 20's.

I am 27 and had fine lines around my eyes, forehead, and laugh lines. I have been using this product for about three weeks and have had wonderful results. Jason Sunbrella Mineral Based SPF# 30 Sunblock 4 oz. Tube (Case of 6)

I have tried several brands of sunscreen, including several larger national brands that claimed to be appropriate for sensitive skin and/or those with allergies.Most were a major disappointment, and some gave me itchy hives.

Thus far, this "mineral based" sunblock from Jason brand seems the best sunscreen for my sensitive allergy-prone body. This does not contain PABA.

The texture is good, not difficult to rub in.Once on, it feels OK; I am not conscious of wearing it, unlike some uncomfortable gooey or greasy competitors.

Most (or all?) "mineral" or "physical" suncreens and sunblocks tend to look too-white, probably because they share a natural ingredient with traditional white paint.Once rubbed in, this sunscreen looks somewhat better, less white, compared to competing mineral / physical sunscreens. There are some sunscreens that look even better, but they are less natural, more likely to cause an allergic reaction.

Be aware that Jason brand also makes other sunscreens with different ingredients; the others are not necessarily as great for sensitive skin. To add to potential confusion, I think the company has redesigned the labels recently.I suggest looking for "mineral" or "physical" on the label.

Although this is my fav, I would not recommend buying it in bulk quantity unless you have a huge family or group to purchase for.Most sunscreens do not age well if stored a long time, and in hot weather even more so. Better to buy 1 tube at a time.I bought this at a local health foods place, so I have no comments on this seller.

California Baby Hair De-tangler Spray - Calming, 8.5 Ounce

This product costs $3 less at Target!Save a few bucks, and buy it there.I think it works great (my girls have short straight hair, so not as many tangle issues as curly haired kids).I first used Original Sprout Miracle De-tangler for my girls.It works amazingly well, but has a smell reminiscent of bug spray.My oldest, who is very sensitive to smells, hated it.CA Baby's smell is light and wonderful.

I purchased this product last spring to help de-tangle my toddler's hair.Back then, she was only 14 months old and still had short (but curly) hair.Even then, this didn't really help us comb out the tangles in her hair.It DID help define her curls once her hair was already combed, plus it did add shine which was nice.I followed the directions on the bottle and used this when her hair was still wet.I also tried using a conditioner first and also tried using this when her hair was dry.It still didn't help de-tangle.

Now that she's 22 months old, she has hair that goes almost down to her shoulders when it's wet.Her hair is fine and she has lots of tight Little Orphan Annie curls.With her hair now being longer, this stuff no longer does anything for it at all.In fact, I'd say that it even dries her hair out.After using this, her hair turns into a frizzy mess in a matter of hours.Her hair seriously looks better WITHOUT this product in it.

I do love that the ingredients are safe and this stuff also smells fabulous.The bottle lasts a long time.I really do wish it would work.However, I've now switched over to using California Baby Calendula Conditioner in her hair to help tame it and that does work wonderfully but I'm still hoping to find a natural de-tangler that actually does what it's supposed to do.

* (I use Earth Mama Angel Baby or California Baby shampoos on my baby.I use either Healthy Times or California Baby conditioner.I have very soft water and only wash my baby's hair a couple times per week.The only reason I mention this is to point out that my baby's hair care routine isn't overly harsh, so it shouldn't be making this product ineffective.)

I bought this when I bought my daughter a bottle of California Baby Calming Shampoo and Body Wash. I wanted a detangler with a scent that complimented the scent of her shampoo.

I'm very glad I did. It seems expensive, but the bottle lasts quite a long time. It definitely works, my daughter has very few tangles. There are a few occasional little stubborn knots that this doesn't help with, but those are just an inevitable side-effect of childhood and curly hair and I doubt anything but a stern brushing could help with those. I never brush, comb, braid, or otherwise style my daughter's hair without first wetting it down with this. It also tames the massive frizzies she gets after sleeping or swimming.

She has a copious amount of very fine, very curly hair. Often times, she looks like Einstein with ringlets. If this works for her crazy locks, it should work for just about any hair type.

I bought this for my 2-year old daughter's tangled hair, and was a bit disappointed with the product. We had to spray quite a lot to get the tangles out. She has longer, straight hair that sometimes got knotted after bath. I felt like I had to spray quite a bit to make a difference. If you're going to spend money on a detangling product, I'd suggest getting the CA baby conditioner and bypassing the detangling spray. The conditioner I found to be more effective than the spray.

So I am not a foundation person -or at least I wasn't. This is the only foundation I'd use! It is a thinner consistency so it won't lead to gross cake face.

Admittedly I would more recommend this to people who are trying to even out their skin tone or camouflage fine lines or minor skin imperfections. It doesn't hide blemishes very well (get a good concealer for that.)

I liked that though. It covers little bumps but it also doesn't cover my freckles and beauty marks.

However! The reason I gave this 5 stars is because it will bring a glow to your skin without making it shiny. I love it and I would recommend it to anyone, especially if you're looking for a more natural look. :)

I decided to try Maybelline Instant Rewind Radiant Firming Makeup because I felt it was time to give up the Bare Minerals and try something that would be more moisturizing and something that would not emphasize any fine lines I have (my skin is dry and prone to flaking from eczema but not sensitive to most products, I have fine lines on my forehead ("11s" and worry lines) and faint nasolabial lines that only show up when I'm wearing the wrong foundation). I also saw that it had very good reviews on MUA. I have to say that I love this foundation! It makes me look so much younger than the BE foundation did! I doesn't sink into fine lines and is moisturizing. My skin had a dewy and natural finish and the flakiness I have was not emphasized or made worse. My skin was looking radiant again! Someone was even stunned when I told her I was 32 she thought I was in my 20s! The coverage is medium, but you could thin it out if you wanted more sheer coverage, or build it if you wanted more full coverage. It has lasted the day every time I've worn it (even in the gym). I have tried it both with and without powder to set and have tried a few methods to apply it. I feel a stippling or foundation brush works better than blending it in with fingers. It also has SPF, which is always a plus with foundation. The only thing I don't care for is the packaging. I think a pump or a bottle you could squeeze would be much better. All of this for under $10! I am so glad I tried this!

For years Being a woman of color , I always could never find a liquid foundation that matched my complexion. Even and full coverage all over face. The formula stays for a long time but it can look greasy if you have oily skin. It is imperative that you use a face primer and a finishing powder with this foundation or it will smear away onto everything(Yes, it stains clothes)

I used to wear this foundation when I was younger, since then I swiched to more expensive "grown up" foundations, but recently bought it again, because it was so cheap and remembered why i loved it so much. It's very creamy and flattering, great coverage, won't dry skin or cling to break outs, creates smooth and younger looking skin. Decent staying power and natural looking. might not be so good for overly oily skin or very hot climate though. I absolutely love it!

This suncreen is great in the fact that it doesn't clog your poors, but the moment you get out in the sun it starts to run and it can burn your eyes.It really makes your beach experience pretty painful.

30 year old male with sensitive/acne prone facial skin...I love all of BullFrogs Quik Drying Gels, but I didn't want that gel on my face to clog pores.

After a solid vacation week of going to the beach everyday I had absolutely zero breakouts or issues from this stuff.

With the Bullfrog Gel products I have found I am able to apply once in the morning and I am still protected 8 hours later.NOT SO with this stuff.It worked well, but I still got a little sunburned if I didn't reapply 1 or 2 more times throughout the day.I am very active on the beach competitive volleyball, swimming, etc so I am frequently wiping sweat off my face so that most definitely contributes to the need to reapply.

I was hoping for the perfect apply-once and no side-effect facial sunscreen...this isn't quite that, but is damn close!

I will reuse this product over and over again until Bullfrog makes a one-time application facial sunscreen.

Living in Florida, I have experimented with practically every sunscreen I've encountered. I have very fair, acne-prone, and sensitive skin. The skin on my face is very easily irritated even becoming red and bothered by Neutrogena and other typically well-regarded sunscreens. This sunscreen has been my favorite by far, and I apply it to my face everyday! My skin has never once been irritated after having used it.

Makeup is easily applied over it (which is fairly rare compared to other brands I've tried) and it's lightweight making it perfect for daily use. I wouldn't recommend using this sunscreen for any intense sun protection such as swimming in the ocean, exercise, etc.

Although advertised as being "oil-free," I would say there is a little bit of oil present since my face typically is a little bit shiny just after application. Nothing uncomfortable, though. Also, there is a scent in the lotion, but it's not at all strong and I never notice it after I've applied. All in all, my favorite daily sunscreen! I wish Amazon would offer it with Prime!
