This is a good one to get if you actually want to get tan, it is not a block.

St. Ives Elements Mineral Moisturizer with SPF 15 3.4 fl oz (100 ml)

Wanted to get a non animal tested moisturiser, tried a few including St Ives product. Liked this product the best not too sticky but moisturises thoroughly. Has SPF protection, which I do consider essential. Some products with SPF can feel unpleasant on the skin, this product is fine. Other reviewers have mentioned out of sell-by date product being sent this may be the case, I can't see any date on the last bottle I ordered. Not sure how much of a problem that is for face moisturiser, at least if only a bit out of date.

I have very dry, fair, acne-prone skin. It's a perfect storm, and not many moisturizers are a good fit. This one is the best formula that I've tried so far it's light, non-greasy, and has a pleasant scent (I can't stand daily moisturizers that smell like sunscreen). Also doesn't break me out. I feel like my skin is happy when I use this. For some reason I haven't been able to find it in my local stores, so I was thrilled that I found a bottle on Amazon. Thanks!

After my dermatologist scared the crap out of me by telling me I needed SPF even in the winter (in Seattle?), I went onto the cosmetics database to look for the safest, healthiest one out there that would still be light on my skin.I generally try not to put things on my skin that I wouldn't eat; I'm pretty paranoid about my skin absorbing nasty things like parabens.This moisturizer scored very well on the database, though I can't remember the number.It's not too thick and after a few minutes I forget it's on.I have worn it on a very sunny day and got not so much as a freckle so the SPF definitely works.

Pro Tan Incredibly Black 10X Double Dark Bronzing Lotion 8.5 oz.

I bought this tanning lotion for $25 from my tanning salon. This one is half the price, but even at 25 this lotion was well worth it! This is one of the best smelling tanning lotions I've ever used. I used to work at a tanning salon, so I'm definitely familiar with the horrible scents of a lot of tanning lotions. This one has a yummy vanilla scent that doesn't give me a bad scent after tanning. It is really moisturizing and makes my skin really soft. The only reason why I didn't give it five stars is that it didn't make me really dark. I can tell a slight difference when I tan without lotion and when I tan with it, but I think the reason why it doesn't make you dark as fast is due to it not having a lot of bronzer in it. It doesn't turn my hands orange or have any streaking. Overall, a good lotion for moisture, but you can probably find better if you prefer your lotions with more bronzer in it.

the girl at the salon recommended I use the Jwoww lotion and I used that until this shipped... this is WAY better than the Jwoww lotion! I am super brown when I get out of the bed and am otherwise pretty light skinned and the smell is nice, not too strong. Soft, sweet smell. Great lotion!!

I really didn't notice much of a difference with this, but part of that may be the fault of the low-level tanning beds I've been using at my gym.However, since it's supposed to be a bronzing lotion, I should have at least seen a little something right after putting it on, which I didn't.The smell isn't great either, although I'm not a big fan of cherry-scented products.It also seems too thick and I have to use a lot of it to get good coverage (I doubt I'll get more than 6 or 7 uses from it).Overall, I've been tanning off and on for the past 9 years and this has been my least favorite so far.I almost want to just throw it away, but I figure maybe I'll at least use it as lotion while I'm at the pool this summer.

()I recently took this on our vacation to the beach.The easiest way for me to review it is in positive/negative bullet points

Positives

nice cooling sensation

no overpowering smell, just smells clean

not oily feeling

stays on through sweat

twisting cap prevents leaking

Negatives

"continuous spray" does not actually get everywhere you need it to

only way to get full coverage is to still rub it around, which defeats purpose of spray

did not seem to provide the protection I would expect from SPF of 30

Not an awful product, but I personally would opt for a typical rub on lotion to insure I was getting the product to fully cover my exposed areas.And I would probably opt for a higher SPF if you planned on being outside for more than a half hour at a time.

()This product for me provided about a month of full use.

I applied it to my feet, legs, arms, and face. The face is a tricky area. You are not supposed to directly apply it to your face, as the inhalation can be harmful. You have to apply it to your hand, and when you get enough, begin to apply it your face. As a result, it was easy to miss some areas if you're weren't too meticulous where you were applying.

The cooling sensation is wonderful, especially during the hot summer afternoons when you want some relief from the sun. The cooling sensation last for only a few seconds. As soon as the mist settles into the skin, its gone.

You are supposed to spray 6 inches away from your skin. I found that for places like arms, it was hard to gauge and a lot of the mist ended up missing your arms and going into the air. I suspect this is a fault of all sunscreens sprays, and not necessarily just this product.

Its convenient, cheap, and if you have little ones running around, a great way to spray them quickly, especially if they are too anxious to wait around for lotion to dry :)

First, I'm a pasty white redhead who burns if I even think about going outside in the summer (well, maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration) but I'm THAT white.

Mercola Natural SPF 15 Sunscreen

I purchased this sunscreen because I try to avoid toxic sunscreen.My son's skin gets bleeding sores from most sunscreens available at the stores.I am always seeking sunscreens that are safe for his skin, yet don't break the bank and don't feel greasy.

This sunscreen does not feel greasy when applied, it does not cause my son's skin to break out.It has a strange mentholation sensation (for lack of a better term) that you feel when you apply it. I would imagine that if you had an existing sunburn it would not feel very good.My 4 year old son actually complains about this when I apply it to his skin.He says that it feels weird on his skin.The scent is pleasant.It smells 'natural' instead of like chemicals.

My biggest complaint about this is actually how fast it dries!Normally when applying sunscreen I put a big dollop in my hand and apply to a large area at once.If I try to do that with this sunscreen it dries up and leaves big white splotches all over that can't be rubbed in.

Once I figured out how to apply it and not get big patches of dried sunscreen, I liked it well enough.It works as to be expected for a sunscreen.I wore it for a week in the hot Florida sun at Disney World and never even turned pink! (I have natural red hair and the pasty white skin & freckles that go with it) I ended up using my Blue Lizard sunscreen on the kids because they just did not like how this felt on their skin.They took greasy over this!I however, preferred this.

I admit I haven't actually given it a good test yet (at the beach). I will be sure to edit my review if it doesn't screen the sun as expected. But I wanted to say that it smells great. I'm very sensitive to perfume, which is in EVERYTHING. I am able to use the Neutrogena sensitive skin sunscreen but it only comes in 30. I wanted SPF 15 so hopefully I still get a little vitamin D. This seems great, it feels nice on my skin and just smells natural. Plus it's non-toxic, extra benefit.

I've used this product for years and really liked it.When the re-forumlated it to make it more "natural" my local store stopped carrying it.I ordered 4 12 ounce bottles thinking they would last me for years as I only use it on my head after shaving.The new formula has a terrible chemical odor like some kind of plasticizer.If you are shopping for aloe gel, look elsewhere!This stuff stinks!

I've been using Lily of the Desert aloe vera gelly for several years always with good results.Was concered when reading some reveiws that the product had been changed but went ahead and reordered anyway. I've been using it now for two weeks and must say that it smell the same and works great, just like the old formula did. I give it five stars.

Typically, I have fond other aloes to leave your skin sticky and tight.This one leaves it smooth and soft.This is great... if you do not have sensitive skin.My husband and I both have extremely sensitive skin and we each use this product.Both of us got a rash where we applied it.It might have great natural ingredients in it but this was not the aloe for us.

To get rid of the rash we used Aveeno Calamine & Pramoxine Hcl Cream.

Maybelline New York Baby Lips Moisturizing Lip Balm, Quenched, 0.15 Ounce

I saw this at the store and decided to purchase the "quenched" and also "peppermint" versions on a whim -both are the clear colored lip balms, and I LOVE them both!I have noticed a huge difference with my lips feeling moisturized, much softer and I haven't had dry or chapped lips at all since discovering "Baby Lips" about 3 weeks ago.I think the "trick" is that you do need to reapply every few hours and I also reapply before bed.My lips are constantly chapped in the winter (I work a lot outdoors) and this product has so far been such a huge help in keeping chapped and dry lips at bay.I previously used Burt's Bees lip balms, as well as Carmex, but those never worked well for me.Baby lips works wonders, and I'm going to try out the various colors now as well.Do try and remember to reapply, reapply, reapply!;)

I don't understand these other reviews, maybe if you live in a very very dry climate or have really really chapped lips this won't be enough, but I live in Phoenix, AZ and my lips are average, I am a lip balm NUT!This is so good, I actually used a whole tube and never wanted to try something else, I will be buying more of this!Tastes good, smells good and works so well!Also leaves a pretty glisen on my lips, doesn't make them white or pasty looking.

Seriosuly try this!Though I bought this at a drug store for only $3.99, this price point is high!

This is a very good lip balm, its moisturizing and it has a pleasant smell not overbearing .... its not glossy (a plus) it has a slight sheen which is great, wear it alone or under lipstick ... I haven't used it for the full four weeks but I am seeing an improvement in the texture of my lips (yay me!!)

Unlike every other lip balm that you have to apply every five minutes, it leaves your lips soft and refreshed, its fantastic! Doesn't taste too great (but hey your not supposed to be eating it) And it smells like fruity pebbles!!
