Caribbean Sol works really well and does not contain any of the scary sunscreen chemicals that harm people or marine life. It has a nice scent, not at all chemical. It goes on whitish because the active ingredients are mineral sun blockers, not chemical sun absorbers, but then disappears after a while, which is an incentive to put it on well before you go outside, which is better for sun protection anyway. It stays put and is non-greasy. The kids' formula is labeled water resistant.It's a good value for a natural product -and if you read the labels, a lot of the "natural" sunscreens contain the exact ingredients you want to avoid. Department store cosmetic brands sell sunscreens at twice the price with the same nasty chemicals as the drugstore brands. Choose carefully.
As a physical barrier to the sun, it works great. If you're planning on being in the water, I'd find something else. While I love the idea of it being natural and safe for the environment, I will not be using it on my son.I don't want to run the risk of him being severely burned because it washed off.

Takes a lot of rubbing and leaves skin with a thin white layer (which is how it does it's job so well), but does an excellent job of blocking the sun and does not cause an allergic reaction like chemical sunscreens do. My skin has not had any sun damage this summer and I live in Texas. We've had 16 days of temperatures over 100 so far, and LOTS of days of blazing sunshine and heat just below 100. In the past my dermatologist had me using Falene SPF 65, which is VERY expensive, and my skin was reactingseverely. He said it wasn't an actual allergy but that the sunscreen was too strong. (It itched like an allergy to me!) This works just as well for a fraction of the price. I bought this after the great reviews online. It is a value product in the natural-sunscreen category, and it seems to work well in terms of sun protection. However, on two adults, we have a hard time rubbing the product in enough to avoid the blue-white pallor common with zinc products. Also, I just can't get over the way it smells sort of like ... cherry cough medicine?

I purchased this sunscreen to use on a water excursion we had planned during a Caribbean cruise.It was a requirement that all sunscreen be biodegradable.
I will start by saying I am extremely sensitive to sunlight and I burn easily, even with 50 SPF.So I was hesitant about how well this would work for me, or if it would even work at all, given my level of sensitivity and the intensity of the sun in the Caribbean.
I applied this sunscreen to my arms, shoulders and face on the tender boat ride from our ship to the shore.I figured I would apply more when I got to the excursion.Alas the worker would not permit us to apply any additional sunscreen when we reached the excursion, so I found myself in the water with a halter top bathing suit and no sunscreen in front.We were in the sun and water for approximately one hour and thirty minutes.The parts of me that had this sunscreen on were nicely tanned and the parts of me without sunscreen were burnt bright red.
So I definitely think this sunscreen works well and I would recommend it to anyone needing/wanting biodegradable sunscreen.

I was very excited that I had found this product based on its reviews for being effective and low in chemicals, coupled with a spray for convenience.However, I did not read the label carefully enough before purchasing this product and did not realize that it was not water resistant.As I was planning on using it with my kids when they were swimming, it was not what I really needed.Also, the spray nozzle never worked.I have tried unscrewing the lid and getting the lotion out that way, but that eliminates the convenience of the spray that I was looking for.The lotion itself smells great and seems to work.Just have to be careful not to sweat too much.

This would have been a five-star review.The product came as described, and it's just what I needed... until the lid on one of the bottles quit snapping shut.The lid didn't break, but during my first trip with this product the lid on one of the bottles stopped locking shut.It merely closes.Unfortunately, that makes it useless as a travel bottle, and I now lack confidence in the longevity of the other bottles' lids.On the plus side, the blue insert comically explains, in pictures, what you can safely take through security and what will get you some unwanted attention.I like the picture of the large cartoon-type bomb and brass knuckles.Who knew you couldn't bring brass knuckles through airport security?:-)
Update:I went on second trip with the remaining bottles.Both lids leaked because they also quit snapping shut and no longer "lock" closed.Big 'ole waste of money.
This little bag effectively solved my problems with carry-on toiletries. Since we can only fly with 100ml/3.4oz containers of liquids and gels, and they must all fit in a fairly small bag, you have to make some sacrifices. I don't like it any more than the next guy, but this bag helped me get better organized. I don't use the little plastic bottles that come with it, but being able to stuff all my sub-100ml liquids into this, instead of the plastic baggies I had been using, is a nice permanent solution, due to the apparent durability of this clear plastic material. It does what its supposed to, so 5 stars.

I like the product for traveling with the allowable toiletries but I don't see the point in selling this product in the different colors as the only difference is the color of the cardboard insert that you're required to remove according to the user instructions; once this is removed the contents are completely identical.

We've been buying the Trukid products for quite some time, including the sunscreen, which we've really liked in the past.However, we've used this new "Sport" version for our last two trips--the first trip we used last years bottle.Both of our kids burnt while using it and swimming.We wondered if it was because it was old from last year. So we ordered two more new bottles for the trip we just took last week--our boys burnt very badly in the sun/water using this.We reapplied various times throughout the day but it did not help. We cannot use this product anymore as we cannot risk more sunburn on them.Big bummer as we loved how it rubbed in for a "natural" sunscreen.

This is excellent sunscreen that goes on smoothly, and it really works. There is almost no residue after it is applied, and I apply it religiously every morning. As to its anti-aging properties, I can't really comment. I'm 36 and have some sunspots, and they do not seem to be getting worse, but they don't seem to be subsiding either. I have oily and acne prone skin, but I understand the need for constant sun protection. It is difficult to find non-acnegenic products that also have a high SPF, and this is one of the few I can use. This does not make my eyes water (unless I am sweeting a lot), and according to the label is approved for up to 80 minutes in water. Even though I have sensitive skin, I am able to use this around the eye area without any issues.The cream iswhite and non-tinted cream which is not an issue for me, but may be an issue for darker complexions. This also does have the dreaded SPF smell, but is not fragrance free so the scent is not natural. A little goes a long way, but that does not mean it does not need to be re-applied every two to three hours. A little expensive but worth it!

I have fair and sensitive skin, and I got sun burns here, Southern California. For me sun protection of highergrade is a must for me during the Summer time, but some I have tried were too oily, or didn't offer expected protection, or caused irritations.(I have normal skin, sometimes dry). This one works fine, and besides a very nice fragrance, it makes skin looking nice too, kind of dewy, when the others left oily film. I used it for the second Summer, and was very happy with the productwill use it again, worksfine for me.It is more expensive than regular sun protection creams, but I love the quality, to me it is worth the price.

I have been using the new Olay Pro X product line for 2 months now and I am very impressed by the improvements in my skin tone and the disappearance of fine lines. I have been using the OLAY PRO-X DEEP WRINKLE TREATMENT as part of the three-piece protocol package for approximately a month. I probably should have given up on this particular part of the treatment a lot sooner, but held out with hope that I would adjust to this lotion with time.
I do not consider myself to be someone with particularly sensitive skin, though I have had occasional reactions to very few products. In this case, the Deep Wrinkle Treatment caused slight redness and puffiness with little itchy bumps particularly in the undereye/crows feet area. It seemed to actually dry the area and cause irritation, rather than provide any real wrinkle improvement. It certainly did not moisturize in my case.
I do like the other products in the three-piece protocol (you can check out my review of that whole system for further information if you are considering the whole package or information on the individual PRO-X REPAIR LOTION SPF 30 or PRO-X WRINKLE SMOOTHING CREAM which are the other two components).
The WRINKLE TREATMENT simply did not work for me and I had to give up the trial after month because my skin was just too irritated by it. It did not produce any fabulous results, either, so it is certainly not for me. Will it be successful for you? Possibly, if your complexion can tolerate it. My only warning would be to be cautious if you react easily to certain cosmetics or have dry skin.
Me, I am still searching for the right stuff!

I have used every Pro X product minus the eye cream and this by far is the best product in the line. I had the worst laugh lines (hey I laugh a lot what can I say lol) and they have diminished by at least 70%, I also use it on my 11 lines between my eyes and my forehead. I no longer have the 11 lines and my forehead looks much better. I don't recommend it around the eyes it was quite drying, it specifically says to not use it on the lids. To be honest using vaseline on your face at night before you go to bed works better then any moisturizer I ever used. I used this on my lines and then cover my face with vaseline mixed with a little water. Amazing. And no you dont break out from it, I have oily skin and I have no problem. Better thenthe HydraFirming Cream or any of the Regenerist line (which I used faithfully night and day for 5 years). I love this Pro X Deep Wrinkle Treatment. I use it on my laugh lines and my forehead lines, my laugh lines are almost gone in about a months time. Honestly its quite amazing. I have been using the Deep Wrinkle starter kit and to me this is the stand out product in that kit. No scent, a nice soft texture and a little bit goes a long way. I wouldn't say this product is fantastic but I feel it serves its purpose.It is good when I need just a little bit of extra moisture under my eyes especially before applying concealer if my skin is a little on the dry side.I am actually searching for a better eye cream that is not too expensive but I have yet to find one that meets those criteria and better than this one.Overall its a good under eye moisturizer but don't expect miracles like disappearance of eye circles or anything.

I've been using Gabriel pressed powder for almost a year now. I discovered it at a Wholefoods supermarket and have been hooked since. This product provides plentiful coverage that can be layered on to meet your coverage needs yet it is soft and light-weight. My skin feels like it can breath. Plus no talc, no shine! I actually had the opportunity to meet the creator of this line recently. His name is Gabriel and he is a Venezuelan make up artist who resides in Miami and created this line to be safe and natural for your skin. Gabriel had bad skin growing up andwanted to create a line of products that wouldn't harm the skin or cause breakouts. Really nice guy, really nice product. I use Gabriel Cosmetics liquid foundation on a regular basis, but since this summer was particularly hot and humid, it seemed too much for my face to have the liquid foundation along w/the moisturizer on.
So I decided to try this powder foundation to wear alone for the warmer, more humid days and I am really pleased w/it.It glides on very easily over my moisturizer and feels so light, as if nothing is there at all.It does a great job of coverage and evening out the skin tones too, w/o any liquid foundation underneith it needed.What is great, is I can carry it around w/me for a quick no mess touch up if need be.It is a great natural product w/o the skin irritating ingredients that can cause break outs.

I have rosacea with both general redness plus deeper red blotches and clusters of visible blood vessels. I've tried many expensive liquid foundations, solid cover-ups, and Bare Escentuals. The solid cover-ups looked like I was wearing a cakey mask--even worse than the rosacea. My skin breaks out if I don't stick to non-comedogenic ingredients, but it's also very dry, and no matter how much moisturizer I'd put on first, both the liquid foundations and the Bare Escentuals mineral make-up gave me a ridiculous "flakey-face" look.I've been using Gabriel for over a year now, and still can't believe how beautifully it works. My skin looks clear and radiant when it's on. I think that keeping the formula smart, simple and natural, combining minerals with light moisturizers like squalene, make this the ultimate make-up. I hate to take it off at night and reveal what's underneath!
It goes on easily, and the smooth, full coverage lasts all day.First I put on moisturizer, which I add two drops of jojoba to because my skin is so dry. Then I use an eye shadow brush to apply the powder to the reddest spots. Then I use a round sponge to dab or push it into the rest of my skin, and then lightly brush over my skin with the sponge to be sure it's even. I don't use the round sponge that comes with the compact. Instead I buy Essence of Beauty compact replacement sponges at CVS. I find the make-up goes on better.
