Australian Gold Face Guard Stick SPF

I rated this product a 4 star based on using it without swimming and it was just a little greasy, but I think all of the face sticks are that is why they work so well.I love the face stick for my kids, very easy to put on, does not end up in the eyes like lotion.The only thing I would change is the picture that you show.It makes it look like it is the size of a deodorant stick and it is about a third of the width just like any other face stick.Which I knew that when I bought it from reading other posts, but some may not read posts and think that they are getting something bigger.

I used this last summer and LOVED it and that's why I'm ordering it again.Easy to take along with no icky mess.My daughter has very sensitive skin too and it works amazing and she gets burns easy and she doesn't fuss when I apply this like she does liquid sunblocks which of course make it much easier on both parent and child.I wish the stick was bigger but I still love it.

It leaves you a tad on the "Orange" side.I, also,am not in love with the glitter it leaves on my skin after I put it on. I'm wanting it to look real and the glitter doesn't help that at all.

I'm pale. Pale pale pale pale. Super fair skin. My grandfather always used to joke that I looked like Casper the Ghost when I wore shorts. When I first tried this tanner, I decided to go crazy with it. I put it everywhere, and rubbed it in really really really good. To my horror, despite rubbing it in for 15 minutes straight, it dried looking orange and streaky. Not to mention, it felt sticky. I always keep some makeup remover wipes on hand so I can quickly remove the tanner from around my ankles, backs of my knees, wrists, and hands. Instead, I took my makeup remover wipes and wiped off all the orange streaks and a massive amount of glitter. I went to bed.

....the next day, I woke up and looked at my legs. Oh my goodness, I am tan. My milk white skin is TAN! No streaks, just beautiful tan goodness. I've decided that the formula is only orangey brown to give an idea of where I'm putting it and what areas I've covered. It will look streaky when I first put it on. It will dry sticky, smell like soapy perfume, but all of that washes away with a good shower. All that is left behind is a beautiful tan.

My suggestion: Tie your hair up, strip naked and use this on the morning of your day off, when you are lounging around the house. Pay the orange streaks no mind. Let it get semi-dry (where the orange streaks stick to your skin and don't move around easily), and put on some clothes that you don't care about getting stained. If you rubbed tanner into your butt, wear a loose skirt and skip the underwear. Then go about your cleaning, cooking, TV watching, video games, whatever. In the evening, take a shower. Use some soap, and gently wash your skin. Get all of the orange streaks off. Use some rubbing alcohol on any areas that were accidentally tanned.

....Voila! A gorgeous, natural looking tan!

I only wish L'Oreal would make a version without glitter.

When I first applied the product, I HATED the glitter. I looked like a 12yr old off to her first dance! But I woke up in the morning, and noticed that the glitter had lessened, and left a pretty glow. I did have streaks and patches where the tan came off completely on the first day, but since reapplying, and applying regularly, I have not had any problems.

There are couple things to be aware of before purchasing this:1) It goes on thicker than expected, almost like a liquefied lotion that you have to rub into your skin.Howeverit disappears about 5 seconds after, so no biggie.2)It leaves NO residue.Zero!In fact, the first time I put it on I had huge doubts this would protect my skin.3)It worksno burns anywhere after two hours of tennis.Doesn't drip, no scent, no residue!It is not what you'd expect from a typical spray (where you simply spray it and leave it on).But the fact that it does not contain oxybenzone or avobenzone (although it does have Octinoxate) and protects your skin without any sticky residue-for me that's well worth the steep price. On a comparison note:I have tried the SPF lotion and while it works just as well, I find it tends to be a bit more sticky as it is thicker to rub on. The spray is just simply easier to use.

This item provides absolutely great protection for a long time and goes on very easily.I've used another Elta MD water resistant product and it worked well too, but went on much thicker and was harder to apply.This works great.I just give a quick spray to my head and face(shaved head here), and rubbed it in a little bit.It went on white, which is great to check coverage, but cleared up very quickly.I would recommend this for use with kids.I haven't had any problem yet with it stinging my eyes, which a lot of sunscreens do when you get wet or sweaty and rub your face.I can't wait for to use it next summer with the kids.

Normally I hate wearing sunscreen, I would rather scurry from shadow to shadow than wear sunscreen but I had a month-long trip to SE Asia planned and staying out of the sun would be impossible.So I started doing all the research I could about sunscreen and decided I wanted something topical rather than chemical.Knowing that it would be really hot (90+ degrees with extreme humidity) I needed something that I wouldn't have to constantly reapply and that would stand up to sweat well.Finally, I needed something that I could spray through my really short hair so my head didn't burn.

That seemed like a tall order to me but this sunscreen is perfect.It held up really well all day and although I should have reapplied I almost never remembered and never got burnt.It isn't oily so it didn't feel like I was wearing much, there is a little bit of a feel to it but nothing really noticeable.I could actually only feel it coming off when I used soap and then it came off cleanly so I felt really good after a cool shower before going to bed.The spray action isn't perfect but it works well enough to spray my head and work it in through my hair.In fact the only sunscreen easier to apply is the aerosol-type chemical spray but there is so much over-spray that you waste a lot.Maybe you can afford to waste relatively inexpensive sunscreen but I didn't want to waste this.

Ultimately one bottle was good for almost a month of daily heavy application.It isn't cheap if you're a sun worshiper but it works well and I have a full bottle ready for next summer or my next sunny adventure!

When I first got this facial cleanser, my first through was that the rubber scrubber, while a nice addition, felt like it would fall apart quickly.To my surprise it didn'tit has been going like a champ.The scrubber is great and really helps you get your face nice and clean.The cleanser smells nice with a hint of apricot, but it isn't overpowering.It is nice and ex foliating without being too harsh on your skin.This is great for an everyday cleaner if you don't have any skin conditions, but from my experience, it really doesn't do much to clear troubled skin.Overall, I do like this, but for my skin, I need something to help clear up my skin too.This cleaner does do everything that L'Oreal says it willclean, reduce appearance of pores, and won't over dryfor that, I have to give it 5 stars!

I wanted to like this. It seemed like a miracle-worker based on all the reviews, but alas...the search for clear skin continues.

Background: I have combination skin not many zits, but tons of small blackheads in various places and very dry skin all over. I've been to the dermatologist and have tried prescriptions, all-natural/organic stuff, and everything in between. The reason I wanted to try this is because a benzoyl peroxide product was breaking me out. Oh, and I'm 19.

Good: I love that this is so inexpensive. Its inexpensive anyway, but when you use it you don't even need that much to cover your entire face. The smell is great too just like apricots (unlike St.Ives)! The scrubs are perfect consistency not too rough or big, but not whimpy or too many either. The face-scrubber thing is not as harsh as you would imagine. It is a very soft rubber. Suds up very nicely. Gentle and like I said a little can go a long way. Cool bottle design.

Bad: Completely ineffective on blackheads. In fact, it may have broken me out a bit (I got two zits, but that may have been my face acclimating itself to the product). It is drying. It made my face flaky! The dry scales don't show up until the next day, but they are there! I imagine it would be really bad if I stopped using my face cream (its the best I've tried super moisturizing without exacerbating my skin issues).

Verdict: All in all, I have to give it a thumbs down, but if you have REALLY oily skin I'd give it a shot. Its only $5!

As for the product, it's fine. The scent and flavor are mild and not strong or obnoxious. I have mild perfume sensitivity and find some sunscreens such as Hawaiian Tropic to be irritating -but these lip balms are not. The texture is OK, not too thick but not too thin -perhaps a little smoother than Chapstick. As for sun protection, I have not noticed any burning.

Enjoy the sun but stay healthy!

I'm not knocking olay, it was a good product, it moisturized my skin and made it not so oily, but if you use a oily product on your skin, especially over night, your skin WILL absorb it. This is a tinted SPF moisturizer that I can like. I've tried so many and they are often greasy or too dark, or too sheer, or the wrong color...This one blends into my skin without being visible, just faintly smoothing out my skin tone without looking or feeling like liquid cover makeup. It can get a touch greasy in really hot weather, but compared to standard sunscreen, it's actually less tacky/oily and more comfortable. I will be repurchasing this one.

This lotion contains 30 SPF sun protection, ROC retinol and antioxidants to help prevent skin aging. I have found that it is light enough for daily use on combination skin. It is a good base under makeup and is non-irritating. I am in my twenties but have fair skin that is prone to freckling. I spend lots of time outside and prefer a day lotion with sunscreen. I find that ROC products like this one help me maintain even skin tone while protecting me from the aging effects of the sun. This lotion does have a mild fragance, which some people don't like. I will buy it again when I run out.

I purchased this after the great reviews I read.Upon first application, however, I started to get a headache.If you are at all sensitive to fragrance, this is NOT the product for you.I will not be able to use this product due to the fragrance.It is fairly strong.Even my kids asked what that smell was.I do not think that other people should be able to walk by you and smell what you have on your face.It does remain somewhat greasy/tacky on your skin.I am very disappointed that companies have to continually add fragrance to their products, making it unusable to people who are sensitive to the chemicals that create the fragrance.

I see that ROC has another facial sunscreen lotion, but I'm nervous to try that one (and spend more $$) for fear it will have the same fragrance issues as this product.My search continues for a product that works for 40+ year old skin without overpowering fragrance.
