I purchased this product because my dermatologist saw a sunspot on my face.She told me I needed to use this sunblock everyday under makeup and that it was, along with a prescription she gave me, the best product for anti-aging.What I really like about it is how smoothly it goes on and how smooth it makes my facial skin feel.It goes on as easily as a makeup with an oil base.I would apply it on my hands, but since it's a bit pricey, I want to use it sparingly.This particular sunblock cannot be found in stores but there are several merchants that sell it on-line.It's just a matter of who offers the best price.I plan on continuing to use it since my dermatologist recommended it and I like the way it feels.I have sat out in the sun with this sunblock on and it has been very effective.

A friend of mine recommended this to me, and I am glad that I bought it. I love the way it easily blends into the skin without leaving whitish marks (I have olive dark skin). It is non-sticky and not at all oily, so you don't end up feeling hot and sweaty on the face. I would recommend this to everyone!

Olay Complete All Day UV Moisturizer SPF#15 6 oz.

I use this moisturizer everyday now. I notice my skin is less oily, and when I use this product it leaves a nice soft smooth feeling to my skin. I would definitely recommend this product to those with oily/combination skin. Also for those who are worried that this product will clog pores and cause acne, I have notice in my own skin that it is actually reducing my acne. Maybe it's the oil absorbing parts to this lotion, but I think as long as you use a facial cleanser and a toner this will complement your skin regime well.

I purchased this product in the winter, when my very oily skin began exhibiting some rare dry patches.I found that this moisturizer was effective in controlling my skin's dryness without adding excess oil or shine.

More recently, I started using Retin-A to control acne, and because this medication makes skin more sensitive to the sun, I began using this Olay moisturizer daily for its UV protection properties (it has a SPF of 15).Everyday use of this moisturizer has not made my skin more oily; if anything, it has helped to control some of the shine and to leave my skin feeling soft and smooth.

Finally, one of the main advantages of this product is that it has a completely non-greasy feel.My husband, who does not have oily skin but who hates to use any kind of moisturizer due to the greasy residue left on his skin, will borrow this product from me in the winter, when his own skin can get quite dry.As you can see, this moisturizer has a variety of uses, and I definitely recommend that you try it to see if it will work for you.

I have been using Olay for years. The only problem I have with all moisturizers is that it still makes my face oily even when it says oil-free. The good thing is that it makes your face look hydrated.

This lotion does a decent job of moisturizing, but it doesn't absorb very well and no matter how much I try to rub it in there's always a thin pale layer on the surface of my skin -not attractive!My bigger issue with this product, however, is its sickly-sweet odor. I don't normally mind scented lotions, but this stuff just smells terrible. For the price there are definitely more effective, less stinky moisturizers out there.

The Tannie Hair Bonnet

I got my Tannie in the mail today and went straight to the tanning salon to test it out. I don't know if it actually protected my hair from damage because there's really no way to tell from one use, but I do know that it was nice to have my hair in the hat, not in an uncomfortable pony tail because I have short hair. Also, my hair didn't feel or look greasy when I removed the cap. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase. I'm glad I was able to find an alternative to protecting my hair besides using products that may make it greasy. I hope this helps=)

Hamadi Shea Leave In

I love how soft and clean smelling this rich moisturizer leaves my relaxed and color treated hair.I use it when my hair needs extra care.A little costly and hard to find but worth it.

I am African-American and after the birth of my first child my hair texture changed from kinky to curly. I no longer use a relaxer and most of the hair products I had worked beautifully on my old texture but did not work at all for my new texture.

I looked for new hair products I tried Frederick Fakkai, a few drugstore lines like Pantene and Garnier and a couple of salon lines Rusk and Paul Mitchell but none really worked well on my hair. A friend suggested trying Hamadi.

I really like this line I use the Ginger Soymilk Shampoo, Rice Milk Conditioner and the Leave-in Conditioner. I find that this combination works best for my hair.

The Shea Leave in Conditioner is the best value for the money in this line.A little goes a long way.I use Ginger Soymilk Hair Wash which cleans well but leaves my hair feeling a little stripped over time then I continue with the Rice Milk Conditioner finish with the Shea Leave in which protects my hair expecially if I blow dry it.

It is hard for me to find good products that work well on my hair texture and are also reasonably priced. As much as I like these products I am subtracting one star for the price. These products are pricey and if you are like me and have long hair they can become very costly over time; although I no longer have to pay for a relaxer every 6 8 weeks I don't expect hair products to cost as me as much as the regular expensive chemical treatments that I no longer need.This leave in conditioner in an upscale store or salon costs approximately $4.63 $5.50 an ounce; on Amazon or through other discount vendors you may find it cheaper.

This line is great if you can afford it; hopefully someone will come out with something just as good that is not so expensive.

Because of the shea butter, this leave in is perfect for hair in need of extra moisture.My hair is thick and coarse and this conditioner works great for me and helps tames the frizzies.The scent is nice and slightly citrusy.I did not find it overpowering.I'm currently transitioning out of my relaxer and once i'm 100% natural, plan to use this along with Hamadi's Shea Hair Cream to help set my natural curls.

I am a long time user of Hamadi's Shea Leave In Styling Cream, not only because it leaves my hair smelling delicious like Lavender and Ylang Ylang, but because I have a sensitive scalp. I received a sample of this cream when purchasing a new foundation at the Lancome counter at Macy's. I don't usually hold much faith in a cream actually doing very much but I tried this one out. As a cancer patient, my skin has been rough and dry and has an uneven complexion. To my great surprise within days I saw a major difference in the quality of my skin. Now that I've been using it about three weeks, my skin is better than it has been my entire life. No dryness, I look healthy with a nice glow. People have been commenting that I don't look like I have cancer at all and that I look fantastic! I have to agree. Aside from the price, this product is just what I needed. If you are looking for something to help improve dryness and fill out a few small lines, consider asking for a sample to try and if you like it and can afford it, stick with it to see some beautiful results.

One thing as a side note for cancer patients it has also helped hide the effects of dehydration around the eyes as it puffs and firms the skin.

After reading the Environmental Working Group's Skin Deep sunscreen guide for several years, I've been looking for the holy grail of a low toxicity sunscreen that is easy to spread on.I have tried at least a dozen different varieties and can say without a doubt that this is one of the best.It spreads much better than the titanium/zinc oxide and still has much better toxicity rating than others.The smell is a bit different but not unpleasant and dissipates quickly.It's also not 50+ so I can get a little color when I want to.

I ordered three different sunscreens that I'd found on the EWG's excellent sunscreen database for health and environmental impact that were rated reasonably well and had good Amazon reviews, and this one easily came out on top for giving me exactly as much protection as I'd expect from an SPF 15 (I'll burn if I'm in direct sun without sunscreen for, say, 45 minutes, and this SPF 15 extends that to about 2 hours), for being reasonably spreadable, and for the feel once it's on.You can tell that it's there, but it's not at all oily-feeling or -looking.Now I don't use anything else.

I bought this sunscreen because my dermatologist told me to start using one daily, and the reviews were good. When it arrived I opened the bottle and immediately smelled an unpleasant odor. The sunscreen smells like spoiled clothes. I haven't worn it more than a handful of times, so I can't speak about its effectiveness, but it makes me smell like I haven't bathed so I'm too embarrassed to wear it. It was a waste of a product for me.

This sunscreen rubs in really easy. Its not thick and goopy. Also whats nice is its not watered-down like the cheap sunscreens seems to be, the ingredients lists has stuff like shea butter and aloe vera. And no sunburn after an afternoon hike in the mountains... I highly recommend it after that.

The Playboy hottie hot bronzer delivers fast and great results. I will definately buy this product again after I am done with the current bottle I have!! If you are PALE, I DEFINATELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS since it WILL cause you to burn. If you already have a base tan, or is somewhat near that, then this is FOR YOU. I just used it today, and saw results 5-10 min. afterwards... Be sure to apply evenly because it can become blotchy (dark where applied, and lighter where not applied). I used it on my face, and results were same as body though it did burn a tad bit more considering the face is more sensitive. A brown tint was my goal, and it's definately giving me that, not orange at all like most tanning lotions will do to your skin.

I previously bought this lotion from my local salon for $40 + tax, so buying this from amazon is a great deal if you have time to wait for it to ship. I just ordered my second bottle of this from here because me & my sister both share this lotion. I have a base tan already and have got to the point that I am not getting any darker. This lotion does have alot of tingle in it and I wouldnt recommend putting it on your face but anywhere else makes you very dark, very fast! This is definately not a beginner lotion! But if your wanting to push your tan to the max and you can stand the tingling, this is the lotion for you. It smells pretty good and doesnt leave you streaky or orange! :)

Pros This lotion really darkens your tan faster than others I have tried.

Cons I don't care for the strong smell of it and it can leave red splotches on my skin right after use (this completely goes away after an hour or so).

In spite of the cons, I will continue to use this lotion (have already ordered additional bottles for future use) because it does the job better than any other lotions I have tried.

Physicians Formula Hydrating Eye Cream 0.5 OZ

I'm not really impressed with this product. I have not found it to prevent or elevated fine lines under my eyes. It makes my eyes a bit puffy (swollen) which I'm unsure if that's what it's suppose to do in order to "fill in" the fine lines (wrinkles). It gives a soothing feeling on application, which I do like, but overall it is not worth the approx. $16.00 I paid for it at Walmart. I will not purchase this again.

Let me say first off that this provides hydration that until now only lip balm provided to my poor dry eyelids. It felt almost "dewy" which I believe is exactly the goal.

I bought this product the day before writing this review. Normally I would have given it a few weeks (and never write reviews on ANYTHING) however, I do think this should be said to anyone who is thinking about purchasing this product.

My eyelids are very dry all the time, and my skin is pretty sensitive and acne prone. I am a 25 year old female who has fair but olive skin. If I burn its rare, and when I do, I recover within 24 hours. This eye cream is wonderful, except for the puffiness. When I awoke after my first use my eyes looked like they were in a UFC fight. A little morning coffee and a cold pack has calmed them but I thought I should share this as most women would find this to be a deterrent. Like I said, my eye lids were in desperate need for hydration! So this could possibly be the reaction to having ample hydration? Puffy does mean full of fluid right? Although any swelling is never good....

Anyway, I plan on continuing to use the product and review again soon. All in all, I would definitely buy this product again, I love anything physicians formula simply because its not as "chemical" ridden and generally very gentle on skin.

Sunblock Stick 30 + No Fragrance - 0.50 oz - Stick

I love the California Baby sunblock for use on my baby because it is a barrier sunscreen and does not have chemicals that absorb into the skin. However, I would recommend using the kind that squeezes out like a lotion to cover most of the skin. This sunblock stick works well for small areas like the face and hands. You have to use a bit of pressure to get it to apply to the skin so you would not want to have to do that all over it would take forever.

I was suspicious of a waxy stick formula that was going to be too hard to glide on and rub in.not to mention having a hard waxy feeling trapping my skin from breathing, but I was wonderfully surprised.This stuff was easy to spread, easy to use, and covered really well.I had no irritation or breakouts and I can relax knowing it is a legitimately safe sunscreen that is keeping my fair/prone to freckle skin looking good.I keep it in my purse for midday touch uo swipes across my nose, cheeks, neck, and hands.

I am not a fan of the CA Baby sunblock stick. I purchased this to use on my young son because it is routinely listed as one of the safest sunblocks on the market. I would recommend sticking with the lotion. The stick sunblock is very difficult to apply, especially to young children who typically don't like things being pressed and scraped on their skin. Following application, you'll then need to vigorously rub it in and even the the weird purplish/white glow doesn't disappear. It got to the point where my son would cry when he would see me take this product out to use on him, so we obviously discontinued using it. I will say that he never got any color while wearing this sunblock, so it does work. But, in the end, the effort just wasn't worth it.

California Baby's Sunblock Stick, formulated with titanium dioxide, earns a hazard score of 1 with EWG's Skin Deep Database, which is about as good as you're going to get when it comes to sunscreens. The downside of this is that titanium dioxide, unlike the more toxic counterparts (ie. oxybenzone) is that titanium and zinc oxides do not absorb into the skin, giving the skin that telltale bluish-white appearance that we find so aesthetically unappealing. This is because the benefit of these low-risk sunscreens is that they tend to stay on the surface of the skin, rather than being absorbed where they can do damage to our children's bodies.

That said, I'm comfortable with my kids having discolored skin if they're better protected from thyroid disrupting hormones and other toxic effects of prettier sunscreens.

My one gripe with this particular sunscreen as opposed to the liquid formulations is that the balance of ingredients seems to be off. Or maybe I just bought an old or off-batch? This stuff is really, really, sticky. Thick. Tacky. Unworkable. It's difficult to spread across skin at all. It's far too easy to get grit embedded in it which makes it painful to apply, and the you end up having to cut part of the (expensive) stick off to get a clean applicator again.

On the plus side, this stuff doesn't have any offensive odors which it shouldn't, being unscented. And, had they made the substance a little oilier and a little less sticky, it would be a breeze to apply. As it is, we're going to make do with it. It serves as a fair way to apply facial sunblock, when needed, for our young girls. And there's much less potential for getting it in the eyes or mouth of a squirmy child than if you're using liquid sunblock.

I think when this stick is gone I will give a go at Badger's low-hazard sunblock stick. Maybe they have an improved formulation over this one. I would not buy this one again unless there were no alternatives available.

This product works great if you need to quickly apply sunscreen on their nose before they jump in the pool. It does leave a white glow and you should probably apply the stick twice to make sure. California Baby products are tough to justify because they are a bit pricey but as long as we don't lose it, this stick should last us through the summer.

Solise Body Wash with SPF 15 Sunscreen

I had been looking for over a year for a body wash that had sunscreen built in.My husband hates putting sunscreen on but knows he needs it.I finally googled for a product and Solise was brought to my attention.We first used it on a hot sunny Memorial weekend.It worked amazingly.We never got the first sunburn.It smells great and lathers up wonderfully.Thank you whoever invented this product.

I use this to wash my hands.After using it a couple of weeks my skin gets really dry and uncomfortable.I have to mix a moisturizing soap in to make it tolerable to my skin.I don't know how much this effects the spf quality. and I don't know how well it works because I don't burn easily and it's hard for me to tell. I also have the hand wash version which I thought was supposed to be the same exact thing but in a different bottlehowever the hand wash version doesn't seem to dry my skin as much.I can't tell if it's because the product is different or because my skin is just building tolerance to it.

I also hate sunscreen, and Googled "SPF bodywash"found this product and ordered it.

Normally I use SPF 50, so I was a bit skeptical about SPF 15, but the difference is in how you apply it.SPF 15 applied consistently is far more effective than SPF 100 applied when I remember to.

I have only gotten one sunburn while wearing the product, and it was in the middle of July, outside for more than an hour, and it was painless/gone in the morning.

I am about to order my fourth tube.I tend to get about a month per tube, and the cost is competitive with the better oil free high SPF sunscreens.

Jason Ester-C Anti-Wrinkle Lotion, 4 Ounce

I love the smell and how creamy it is. It really does hydrate my skin and it last all day.

I mix it with Proactive and was worried I would break out........but I did not.

I like the Jason products and this one in particular because of the vitamin C, which is good for repair of skin. I prefer the Jason vitamin C with spf 20, but this one is good for night time. I like that it doesn't have a long list of ingredients you can't pronounce, that is one of the reasons I buy this brand. I highly recommend it!

I have been using this for awhile now, primarily while I was backpacking around Mexico and Central America. I try to wear SPF at least on my face, especially because of wrinkles, etc. It is very hydrating and works-once in a great while I'd get a red nose maybe, and keep in mind I was in very hot and sunny countries! It isn't completely natural, the sunscreen ingredients are partly chemical-but are the "safer" chemicals. Overall for the price and effectiveness I am happy with it, and will be taking it on the road again!

Swedish Beauty Dangerously Darker Tanning Lotion

This is a great product. Results are quite immediate and bronzing effect lasts for a while. It combines natural bronzers and Dihydroxyacetone (the stuff used in self-tanners) to achieve very natural brown color. The bottle has a "half-twist" cap that allows lotion to be dispensed without mess, which ismportant when dealing with anything that may potentially stain (as all bronzers do). The only thing I am not a fan of is the strong scent. Smells great in the bottle, but when combined with heat of a tanning bed, it is simply overpowering. This may not be the case for everyone's nose, so I suggest purchasing a sample at your local salon before getting the bottle.
