Philosophy makes great products, but I purchased this in December, and the sunscreen expired in May. I wont even need it before then. Amazon customer service was very helpful and attempted to replace the product but it had the same expiration date so I chose to return it again.

I am a new user of ROC products (since 11/2011) and am very pleased with this product. The application of the cream is smooth with no greasy residue. This sunscreen goes on so lightly and doesn't feel sticky at all, it's more like a lotion.I have sundamage from my childhood that has manifested itself during my adulthood and every dermatologist I have been to has recommended this sunscreen.This sunscreen uses a chemial protection agent however, so it is not recommended for children or for your face.If you start to feel a burning sensation when you put it on you should discontinue the use of it on that part of your body.

I think it works well.If you're outside for a longer period of time, you'll have to reapply after a couple of hours.But while it is working it does the job very well.I have managed to go on camping trips and I'm not bothered by reapplying it after a couple hours.I also like that it doesn't smell like other repellents... don't get me wrong, this stuff does have a scent to it, but I find it more pleasant than the other woody-smelling products.I'm very allergic to mosquitoes and deerflies and have become very sick from them in the past, and I just so happen to live in the Florida Everglades (go figure!) so this has done very well for me.
I use this after my hyperpigmentation treatment and it feels very good on my face.It lasts a long time. I was disappointed that there was a price increase on this product, so don't know if I will be buying anymore. I was stretching it with the original price.

I really like the consistency of this sunscreen--it is not oily and doesn't leave any white residue--but I don't think it is as protective as other SPF 30 sunscreens. I applied as directed and went into the sun for an hour and a half, but later that evening, I noticed I had gotten lightly burned. Not badly burned, but moreso than if I had used my regular sunscreen. I will go for the SPF 40 when I reorder this.
It is easy to apply and take with you, but the skin under the eye is so delicate, using this suncreen will be streching the skin a little bit harder, so I do not 100% positive about apply it under the eye.

I bought this as I always get lip cold sores, like 5 at a time, when in the sun.I bought several and have them in places where I find I always have them available.So far I have not had any cold sores in the 2 months that I have been using.There is a faint white coloring but it is not a problem at all and it does not dry the lips out at all. The liquid sunscreen I use always seem to migrate into my eyes, so I bought this one to use under my eyes and over my eyelids. Very gentle and effective formula! Not very greasy, either.

I have tried a lot of different moisturizers in my time but this is one of my favorites.This product is super moisturizing, especially when my skin is so dry in the winter. I like that it's made with natural oils because my skin feels much smoother. The gradual sunless tanner works really well and is not streaky at all. I don't look orange or unnatural which is one of the things I have struggled with before with other sunless tanners. The other positive of this is that you can use it on both your face and your body and often times, I have found that sunless tanners cause my face to get blemishes. One of the biggest perks is that this product smells like coconuts. I hate putting on sunless tanners because they smell terrible. This smells great! I am very happy with this product and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a sunless tanner that is both moisturizing and is looking for a natural but bronzed skin tone.
