My lips are soft because of this amazing lip balm!I found this stuff probably over 5 years ago when nothing else worked to keep my lips from not going chapped.I went on a buying spree of all the lip balms on the market at the time and this was one of the ones in my purchases and the only one I really liked that worked incredibly well.I was really bummed when they stopped carrying the "sport" type in retail stores.Lucky for me, amazon carries it!

What really sold me on it is that it isn't sticky feeling.The "sport" kind with the spf 30 is thinner feeling than the regular.It goes on really smooth and thin and doesn't feel sticky or waxy.It's not a heavy lip balm at all but it WORKS!The cooling effect feels nice on my lips.I often buy this 12pk and gift them away in the winter months!But I really use it year round with summer sun protection.

One of my nieces had really chapped lips, so bad I remembered that it was red and irritated and flaky around her lips too.She tried a lot of different lip balms but nothing really worked so I gave her a tube of this stuff and within a few days of continuous use, her lips healed up and she says this is the best stuff ever!Every time one of my nieces come over, if they see a tube of this stuff laying around, they will use it and sometimes swipe it!Now I make sure I stock up so I don't ever go without.There's a tube of it in two of the purses I rotate on the regular plus a tube with my makeup case, one on my night stand and one on my desk...there may be a tube in my winter coat too!

If you want really soft kissable lips, give this lip balm a try.I really LOVE this stuff, I just ordered another 12pk! :D

I bought the pack of 12 lip balms and really love it.I hadn't used it before, but I'm glad I bought it.I spend a lot of time outside in the summer, especially at the lake.I also took a couple of these with me to Cancun in March.It does a great job protecting my lips from getting sunburn.I use it every night before bed and I've been happy with the way it stays on throughout the night.

IN A NUTSHELL: Dimethicone, Octinoxate, Octisalate & Petrolatum ARE NOT NATURAL INGREDIENTS!

This is a product made primarily out of petroleum jelly, very much like chap-stick. As a brass player I have been familiar with chap-stick products and vasoline for over 40 years. While 'Natural Ice' may work like chap-stick, truly natural and organic products made primarily from Beeswax rather than petroleum jelly are readily available from companies such as 'Oralabs Inc.' for around the same price.

My experience using this product has been a kind of yo-yo affect, where it seems as though if we don't apply this product to our lips they get much drier than they otherwise would have. This prompted me to search for a truly natural and healthier alternative which is how we came to use the 'Natural Beeswax Lip Balm' from 'Oralabs inc.'. Baxter of California Super Shape Hydrating Lotion SPF 15 -- 4 oz.

Baxter of California's Super Shape SPF 15 is a very good every day after shave and moisturizer. I've used it for years and have tried others from time to time and keep coming back to this product. It is reasonably priced by comparison, and the SPF is nice to have for daily use. I suggest sunscreen with a higher SPF if you plan to be exposed to sun a lot during the day, but the SPF 15 is adequate for most men who are indoors for the major part of their day.The Super Shape can be a little oily, so if that is an issue you may wish to investigate another product. I have somewhat oily skin to begin with and a little "shine" isn't a problem for me.

Has kept my face in good shape through training on my bicycle in 40 degrees F and less weather for hours. I would want to use a higher SPF product during the summer, though.

In general, have found all the Baxter products high quality and less expensive than some competitors.

I switched over to this after using Urth's SPF15 version, only because this was cheaper. Baxter's Super Shape with SPF15 left my skin on fire for a few minutes and caused me to have a weird reaction the first few times I used it. I think my skin just had to get used to the new stuff, but not sure. I'm still using it, and I find that I have to use quite a bit of it for it to actually work. Keep in mind that they do have a version for oily skin and this might be the reason my review is not 5 Stars.

Bottom Line: Good, but not great.

Delivered next day. Lotion smells great, goes on smoothly, and gave me nice color in about three sessions. I'm not sure about 3 shades darker but the lotion is tinted a medium brown so it does give the appearance of making you darker when you apply.Doesn't make you orange. Only complaint is that the bottle is a little oddly shaped and it's a pain to squeeze the lotion out, especially if you already have the lotion on your hands. (It's skinny and rectangular with a pop up dispenser.) I'm not %100 sure of the price at my salon, but this is a top shelf lotion, (literally on the top shelf of my salon) and those lotions start at around $45 and go to about $100.

I have keratin-treated hair, and I purchased this shampoo because it is sulfate-free.The trouble with other sulfate-free shampoos is that there's hardly any lather (if at all), but this one produces a fine, luxurious lather that is very satisfying.However, I noticed right away that it was breaking down the keratin faster than my regular no-lather sulfate-free shampoo.After a few washes, the difference was very noticeable.It doesn't make any sense, because there's nothing in it that would degrade the keratin, but that's what happened... So anyone out there with keratin-treated hair should think twice.Otherwise, I'd highly recommend this as a sulfate-free shampoo.

Last month, decided to take the plunge and get both the non-knock-off shampoo AND the moisturizing conditioner.Holy bejesus is it making an amazing difference.My hair is soft, smells awesome, and shows almost no frizzies.I do notice that I occasionally have to put on a silicone product to smooth it after a blowout, but that's to be expected with hair as long as mine and in an area of the country with seriously fluctuating weather.However, most of the time I can do a blowout and just use a dot of PureOlogy Shine Max 2.5 Oz and I'm good to go.One of the best things I've noticed is how great my scalp feels no itchiness, no tightness, and less breakouts on my forehead under my bangs.Even though this shampoo and conditioner combo are on the pricier side for me (given the product size, especially), I'm hooked.It's really extending the length of my salon glazes, which are not cheap.And I go through less of it than the relatively thinner, cheaper conditioners like Herbal Essences.I also work out almost every night of the week, so this combo is gentle enough to let me wash my hair every night, but also gives me no product build up or greasiness for the times on the weekend when I skip shampooing.Lastly, if you've been to a smoky bar or generally around cigarettes, this is the only shampoo I've ever used that can get that cigarette smoke smell out.

The reason I am switching from the generic brand of this shampoo to the branded product is really the smell.Rite Aid's product just does NOT get that amazing herbal/Rosemary scent quite right, and it is heavenly.For me, that's totally worth the extra few bucks, and if you order from Amazon, that price difference is far smaller.

I bought this because I was looking for a Sulfate Free Shampoo and this had great reviews. However on using this I was shocked ! This seems like a heavy concoction of damaging chemicals (without SLS just so that ignorant people looking for Sulfate Free shampoos rush to buy this like me) with an artificial, medicine like smell and it left my hair extremely frizzy, thin, brittle and almost damaged. This evidently has a high degree of silicones to produce an artificial shine. I tried going back to my other usual products and then coming back to this to give it second, third chances but every time it was the same shocking result. It is inconsequential that this does not have SLS. It was far more damaging to my hair than even cheap shampoos with SLS. The point is don't buy a cosmetic product just because it touts the absence of a major 'undesirable ingredient'. Even if it did not have that one ingredient it can be a bad product if it has other harmful artificial ingredients badly engineered in to the finished product. Just see the ingredient list at the back of this product it has more chemicals (mostly unheard of) than any other shampoo I have seen. So the 'Sulfate Free' label is a highly misleading bait. Always try the product yourself and buy from a retailer where you can get full refund. However, having said that, each individual responds to cosmetics differently and so this just may work for you but this DEFINITELY is NOT a safe, natural and universally beneficial product. If there were negative stars I would have rated this with that.

I was looking for a sulfate free shampoo when I saw this one. I always had a hard time finding one that doesn't dry out my hair. I saw this one and Organix hydrating teatree mint. I end up getting both. I used the Loreal first. With its first use I noticed a complete difference in my hair. (I'm a african american by the way) First off a little goes a long way and I saw that it was thick and covered my hair nicely. Once I rinsed it out my hair was so soft and not striped. I followed up with my staple VO5 conditioner. When my hair dried I could still smell the shampoo which smells awesome. I saw a small ad for this in one of my health magazines. I have trouble finding good face lotions with an SPF of 30 that serve all my needs; sensitive enough for my skin, thick enough so it doesn't dry out my skin, and not greasy. Olay Complete All Day UV Moisturizer, SPF 15, 6 Ounce (Pack of 2)

I've been using this product for a very long time and had always been happy with the results. However, when I purchased it recently, it did not smell the same. Although it is for sensitive skin and fragrance free, it smelled very much like sunscreen. My eyes burned and my face broke out in a rash. It left my face feeling dry instead of soft. I contacted OLAY and they brushed me off, saying it was a new formula and what happened to me was unlikely to happen and their products were tested. They sent me a coupon to try another product of theirs. I had been using the same product for over 25 years. They didn't take my complaint seriously. Well, they just lost another customer. I switched to Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture for Sensitive Skin and am very pleased with my new choice. Maybe if enough customers express their feedback about this new and improved product, they will learn to listen to customer feedback instead of brushing us off like what we have to say doesn't matter.

I contacted Olay about their atrocious new formula and here's the response:

I'm sorry that you are experiencing this with the Olay Complete UV. I am happy to let you know that Olay will re-launch the original version of Olay Complete All Day Sensitive SPF 15 Sensitive Cream and Lotion! This will be widely available in April 2010 and will say "Classic Gentle Formula". Although our newest formula with Skin Shield technology is safe and has strong UV protection, we realize the original sensitive version with its gentle formula better meets the needs of our Complete Sensitive users.

The good old Olay moisture lotion will be back soon!

A couple of months ago, I purchased what I thought was my normal moisturizer.After using it, I noticed a sunscreen smell and wasn't happy about that, and then I realized that it was making my eyes burn. I kept trying to use it, and it didn't improve.I pulled my old bottle out of the garbage and realized that they had changed the formula.I discovered that the generic store brand used the same active ingredients as the old formula but was still unhappy with the texture and smell.

So, I haven't seen it on the shelves yet, but I'll be looking for it! Thought all of you might want to know. :)

For some inconceivable reason (actually, it was probably to save money), they changed the formula of this sunscreen/moisturizer. The original formula got a pretty good rating from the EWG study on sunscreens they said it provided moderate protection from both UVA and UVB rays, which is more than can be said for the majority of sunscreens but this new formula would get a terrible rating. They changed from zinc oxide to octisalate and avobenzone.

I still think it's a good moisturizer, but it's a useless sunscreen. Since all I really wanted was a good sunscreen that wouldn't dry out my face, this is a disappointment.

We've used this product for years.It's great! Our grandsons are very fair, but with this product they never burn or even get pink.And it doesn't require frequent re-application.

After having experienced repeated facial skin flareups after using this product, I decided to call the company and get the full list of ingredients. They promptly emailed me a list of ingredients. I plugged these ingredients into SkinDeep's safe cosmetic database online, and got a somewhat baffling report. This product qualifies as being mid-range toxic. Not the worst, but certainly nowhere as safe as the product label leads one to believe.The label on the tube clearly states, "Contains NON-CHEMICAL, broad spectrum sunscreen to protect against damaging UVA rays proven to cause premature signs of aging..."Non-Chemical? Take a look at the list of chemicals below, some of which are known neuro-toxins and skin irritants.

I'm really quite dismayed, and feel that my trust has been betrayed, especially since I bought the product on a dermatologists recommendation at his office. It's sad that there are so many doctors who are little more than sales people for chemical companies. One begins to wonder if they even know what these products contain, or really, if they even care. I'm sure they're getting kick-backs.

I recently became allergic to any kind of chemical sunscreen. As someone with very fair skin and an aversion to wrinkles, I have been a religious sunscreen fanatic since I was 18. So I had to find something comparable to my normal product in a physical sunscreen. Goes on very white but absorbs quickly and stays on all day. Fairly non-greasy (as far as sunscreens go). I wear on my face, neck, and chest under my makeup.

It's expensive, but it works well and I love that it provides good physical protection. Of course this means it takes awhile to rub in, but that's how it goes, I guess. I read reviews for this on the Environmental Working Group Sunscreen 2010 review website and it got a 3 (1 is best) for having good coverage, but some less-than-desirable chemicals involved. A 3 is still pretty good. I also decided to throw out the sunscreen I was using on my family which ranked a 7 and bought a couple of the 1's ranked on the website.

Moisturizing Face Screen, SPF 30, Light Tint

I have used Creme de Soleil for quite a while and I love it so I decided to try the Creme de Jour on my kids(it is less expensive and my kids do not need a screen with anti-aging ingredients!). My teenage daughter is breaking out and all of the other screens that we tried cloged her pores. I talked to the people at Marie Veronique Organics and they explained that the waxes in most screens clog pores. I think that they are right...this is the first screen that she is willing to use. It is not greasy and she likes how the tinted makes her skin look. I put the non tinted on my younger kids because it is the only screen that I can find that is made without harmful chemicals or nanoparticles.

I have always been on the lookout for a really good sunscreen. I've never stuck to one brand until I found this one. I tried it out after I saw how high it was ranked in the EWG's website for safest and most effective sunscreen.After using this product religously, my agespots/freckles disappeared and I get compliments on how fresh and youthful my skin looks. For me this serves as an effective and safe sunscreen as well as a foundation that evens out my skintone without looking heavy and cakey. It's a little pricey but I only use 3 bottles a year which adds up to $120 a year.That's cheaper than laser resurfacing and less painful!!!

Their customer service is just as amazing. The first time I tried the product, I noticed that the tinted sunscreen was a bit too pink for my skin tone. I called the company and together we came up with a solution. They sent me a sample size of a lighter color and I use that to mix with the one I already have. It turned out to be the perfect shade for my skin. Now, whenever I order the product through Amazon, the company just automatically sends me the sample size in that order. How amazing are they!!! I am definitely a customer for life!

I had ordered the tinted version of her sunscreen and I was leery at first when I received the product because it was a grayish liquid and I am an asian with yellowish undertones. I thought it would make me look like a ghost, but after applying it I was surprised that it disappeared into the skin and looked natural. It has not caused any breakout and I feel it even moisturizes it.

Its really hard to use...

1.Very drying (ironic it says moisturizing), u have to put on an oil based moisturizer before you try to put this on. I've also try the anti aging oil sample that was included, and its even worse, even more drying on your skin.

2.Hard to smooth out..it dries out pretty quickly so you have to try to smooth it out pretty quickly otherwise it leaves streaks n clumps.

3. It says light tint...but its looks more like a medium tint.

4. It rubs off too easily even though I'm not sweating...so reapplication is really needed.

It smell nice and it feels sort of cooling on the skin...but its so damn hard to use,esp in the summer this thing would be so ineffective.because it rubs off too easily...

Disappointing since i read all this glowing reviews.

My search for the effective n easy to use mineral sunscreen continues...
